My new "Go-To" cookware!
5
I love the curved sides and easy to clean surface.   It heats evenly on my glass-top stove and is pretty too.   Do not know how I cooked without this pan all these years, but I am going to collect as many of these pieces as possible, for future cooking.   I purchase the 12  everyday pan at the same time as this one and I am so impressed with both of them!I would highly recommend this cookware to anyone who spends as much time in the kitchen as I do..

Good value for the money
5
Been using for a year.   Very good heat distribution.  If you burn something, you may wind up soaking them a bit.  They  clean well with a brillo pad.  A good value overall. At this price point this pot would be hard to beat.

This is a great stir fry pan!
5
Both the long handle and the helper handle are riveted in place with real industrial size rivets that are not going to let loose under any abuse you could reasonably put this pan through, and despite the handle being unsheathed metal it the long handle does not become overly hot when using it on the stove top. Very light weight and east to cook with.  It heats up fast and it cooks evenly.  It has a lot of room so I only need to use one pan when making a dish.  Love it!.

Great addition to our cooking set
5
Others either would rust or would be a pain in the butt to clean, either by hand or dishwasher. Feels very sturdy and good all around construction.   This pan was perfect.   Probably can not do a big bird in it but for any other applications this is ideal.   Like, cleaned up looking new on the first run without any prewash. At this point, I did drop it once, but unlike my old coated cookware it did not dent or get deformed.

Love it! Dishwasher and induction stove friendly.
5
I love this wok! I have an induction stove and was worried about how the heat would be distributed.  However, I have had no problems and have cooked Asian foods  Chinese, Indian, etc  quickly using the wok.  This product is well worth the price I paid.   But nice amount of thickness to it on the bottom, cleans up well, good value for the money.

Great for my purposes
5
Peas blackened and stuck to the bottom.  I have been looking for a set without glass lids, and this one was perfect! It has taken a little getting used to, but I am loving it! It heats up quite a bit faster than my old non-stick.  I was afraid I would never get it clean, but I found this tip I thought others not used to cooking with stainless might be able to use.  Boil 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water in the pan about 10 min.  Then use a plastic spatula to scrape it out.  The bottom of my large kettle has discolored a little as mentioned in other reviews, but after years of dealing with scratched non-stick, I do not care as long as they are clean! Today I forgot how fast this heats up and boiled a pot dry.  Worked great!.   These are very well made and perform better than expected.

No warping, great for induction stove
5
It is great quality, level for even cooking, and does not tarnish or discolor on the bottom. On induction stove, these heat fast and require about 3/4 the energy of my old "Ecolution" skillets.  If I used to cook on 6, now it is 4 1/2.  So far, no warping  unlike Ecolution .  Metal handle means you can throw them in the oven to finish off those steaks or meatballs without transferring.  Great value.

I love this! It is very sturdy, heats evenly  and with less heat  and cleans quite easily. Look the answer is,if you do not know how to cook on stainless steel, believe me ,your not going to like them, but once you learn the proper way of cooking on them, you want have anything else, how to,heat pan first before cooking,do the test if not sure if hot, drop a drop of water in pan,if the water splatters it is not hot,if it rolls around like a bb your set to go and it want stick.

Great value for the money.  A little Bar Keepers friend and you are good to go.   Blends right in, thick bottom, handy volume measurements on the inside. I am an All-clad guy, but I got this pot to round out my arsenal.

I hate washing the baking rack, but this worked great on a roast.
4
It looks very handsome, very functional. It is a great setup, I finally have a roast that did not come out with soggy bottom. I hate the clean up of rack afterward  baked on crud is hard to get off on metal wire because no one will like that. I purchased this pan to round out my . I like the size, dimension.   It is not a fault on the item.

Excellent Roasting Pan and Rack
5
Love this pot. This roasting pan is made of sturdy stainless steel and the roasting rack is also solidly built.  I used the roasting rack and pan to roast a leg of lamb AND a standing rib roast and both came out perfectly.  I expect many years of efficient use from this product.

stainless steel cookware
5
The handles were also stainless but do not seem to get hot.  Cooking time is short and clean up is easy.  I found this on line and have been very pleased.  You just have to clean it up quickly so you do not have to scrub and possbily scratch the product.  It is attractive enough to display out, and was a heavier product than I expected for the price.  The pieces in the 10 piece set were practical and useful.  The cookware looks very attractive and is perfect for a smooth top stove.  It was a great buy for the money.  I just purchased a new glass top stove and needed a cookware that would not scratch it.  They get used every day and I am very impressed with them.

So far so good grade pan easy to clean wish I had gotten the sooner instead of the dozen of nonstick pans that never work. Love this little pan!  It heats very evenly and is a great size for a couple of eggs.

great satue pan
3
This is without a doubt my most used and most reliable piece of cookware and I can not recommend it highly enough. The truth is, I saute a _lot_. My wife had always wanted a large soup pot.  I do most of the cooking for my family, and my standard dinner now is to saute a bunch of vegetables, spice them appropriately, and combine with the correct protein and starch for a meal.  That means I am using this pan almost every night.  I know it is a little pricey, but it is completely worth it to get a high quality saute pan if you are using it a lot.  It has never scratched, heats well and evenly, looks great, and has the helper handle  do not underestimate how much this will weight when full - the extra handle is a real life saver sometimes .  A few years ago I made a conscious effort to start eating better, and that meant more vegetables.

Best veggie prima vera I have ever made the vegs cooked in the steamer while the pasta boiled below.  Cleans up easy, great looking, many uses, fantastic product. I love this set!! So versatile.  There is a lot of real estate, which is fantastic for cooks who like to make large one-pan meals or cook many meats at one time.

Bit bigger than I really wanted, but still works.
5
I really wanted a 12 inch stainless wok pan, but this was as close as I could find.  I do like having a properly fitting lid, and that I do not have to worry about damaging a non stick coating.  Also, this pan is dishwasher safe, which was a MAJOR consideration..

Even with stuck-on food, it comes clean after an overnight soak with Dawn and a light scrubbing. This pan is everything you need in a great nonstick skillet.   Easy to clean.  Great pan!.

Great quality inexpensive cookset
5
Highly recommend this to anyone looking to switch to stainless or in the market for inexpensive, quality cookware. I was in the market for some stainless pans to replace my nonstick and supplement my cast iron, but was picky about having metal lids instead of glass.   This was the cheapest set i could find meeting my needs for sizes and whatnot.   I own several larger ones, could not ask for better. The sizes in this set are great, the only thing i plan on adding at the moment is a Saute pan.   If you use proper heat, few things will stick, and if they do, just soak with hot water and dish soap for a bit.

Unfortunately, I only used it once, the instruction said no metal pads but the saints are still there. I did everything in the book, this not working for me. The size of it is perfect. Love this little pan!  It heats very evenly and is a great size for a couple of eggs.

I love these stainless pots
5
I use more non stick pans or ceramic pans, but these pans are good for cooking things like sauce and pots are great for making soup. I love these stainless pots, and pans.  My only suggestion is clean them as soon as you are done using them or at least rinse them, so you do not have to use your strength trying to get the grim off the day after.  They are not my go to cookware as it is a bit hard to clean these for me.  But 2 days later, I realized that I would loose 10 $ on shipping and handling.

Tallish, small skillet with excellent non-stick.
5
I figure if I am going to be cutting up onions, celery and carrots, as well as different veggies, I may as well be productive and efficient and do a few different kinds of soups at the same time. This skillet is small but tall, very versatile.  The non-stick surface, at least when new, is very effective.  The skillet is a bit heavier than most this size; however, it is also compatible with all modern types of electric ranges.

Great, great skillet!

When a local market held a  save x-number of stamps  to get various pieces of the Chef's Classic Nonstick cookware last year, I saved enough to get the 8  fry pan and almost immediately wished that I had gotten more - Frankly, I had buy a set of these if I could find one, I like these pans so much - Nothing sticks, and I do mean nothing - They look great and are very well balanced - I like everything about them - So I was really glad that I could find the one piece I most wanted, the 10  skillet at a really good price on. where else??. . . . . . . . .  - I do not think you can go wrong with any of the still available pieces of this cookware - C. . I have had these pans for almost a month now.

NOT MY FIRST RODEO WITH THIS BRAND...
5
I have always had stainless and I find much of the discoloring mentioned in previous reviews comes from cooking on higher temps- unless I am boiling water.   I usually turn it on low for a few minutes and  then whatever medium temp I am going to use.  If it is discolored, a little Barkeeper's Friend works beautifully. as stated in previous reviews.   I love the steamer basket.   I am very happy with my purchase.  Lids fit tightly and I like the  glass tops.   The handles are a nice fit and itseeno evidence that the grommets are loose.   I love thiscookware..

Cooking for a bunch of hungry kids just got easier
5
I have to admit I get a little happy every time I use it.     Everything fits well together - solid construction!.   I have not used the steamer basket yet, but I can not imagine anything going awry with it.   I love how it looks, and it is so sturdy.  The lid is perfect, though I secretly wish it was glass, the shiny is nice. What is not to love about a big shiny new pot?  I have not had one with a pasta insert before, and I LOVE this convenience.

I now take pride in my stir fried foods. I can wok food like a pro now.  Heavier than we expected, especially for the price.  The wok holds the heat nicely, is light in weight and the glass lid seals nicely.  The suggested cooking is medium low to low.

I have had it for a few months now and have no complaints about it. This pan works well for heating up canned vegetables.   It fits right into a stack of varied size sauce pans that I have acquired over the years so it stores easily. I thought I needed a bigger pan but when I got this one I absolutely loved it.

use for paleo eating brown meat half way then add huge amount of frozen veggies with Ghee and cocount oil love this so much
5
we have also used on side of it for eggs and if we ate sausages with it i am sure they would go on the other side of the pan it has a handle which makes it so easy to maneuver and control. this is one of my favorite products. I have been looking for a replacement for my aging 5 qt.  the pan is really a great size and comes up far enough on the sides that i do not have to use a splatter screen or purchase a lid.  i am Paleo and i use this with my Ghee, coconut oil and olive oil to first brown meat half way, then add an enormous amount of frozen veggies.

I could go on forever about how much I love these pans
3
Just be careful because the pot lids DO get hot! Sometimes I forget that.  I will burn something and thing that it is going to mess up the pan and not come off, but it always has and looks just as good as the day we got them. I could go on forever about how much I love these pans! They are SO nice! We have had them for a few months now and they still look brand new! They heat up quickly which I love, but the handles do not get hot, so you can grab them with no problems! It is so handy.  I am so happy we ordered these and I know they are going to last us for a long time!.  Easy cleanup too.

I wanted a stainless steel pan to heat soup in which I seem to be eating more of during the pandemic. I am not much of a cook.  Microwaving is my last choice.  This pan is perfect.  I could not be happier. Love the fact that it can be heated and you can hold the pot by the handle.

Does not melt the top of my stove and food does not stick!  #winningLoved it so much I got a second one and am waiting for a good sale to pick up the 11”.  I have also used this pan for deep frying and long slow simmers on a gas stove.   Got a new stove which needed stainless pots and pans since other types melted the top.   Got an expensive set of pure stainless and encountered the sticking issue. Love, love, love.

Overall very satisfied with the quality of the pots and pans. We were worried when we bought these that they would be very difficult to clean.  This is not the case.  It has a nice, thick stainless clad aluminum bottom  which did pop and ping a bit when I first used it, but considering the type of construction, I can see why it did it  and the walls are plenty thick.  A little Bar Keepers friend and you are good to go.

I am single so I need this size
5
I love being able to cook small portions for myself or heat things up and am no less satisfied with this 8" than the other two.   Like the other two, one must keep the flame set to medium because the heavy aluminum core bottom is attached to thinner, stainless sides and a high flame will scorch them.   It has a good weight, the handle feels great and it sits flat on the stove top.   Nothing clumsy about it.   Where I live this would not be available to purchase, thank you so much  for bringing everything to my door.   And promptly.  The quality is almost as good as an All-Clad with just slightly thinner walls but feels totally solid/heavy and definitely built to last.

The thick bottoms give even heating, the handles are well riveted and very secure  they do require more careful cleaning than spot welded handles, but the durability is well worth it. Good Quality
5
Ordered these since they are specifically designed to be compatible with Induction, but I think the thicker base will help with heat retention and cooking results regardless of the type of stove you use. Very good value for the money.  The build quality seems really nice and there is a good heft to the pans without being too heavy. Been using these for a couple days now and I am definitely impressed so far.

My wife is so happy with the quality and Price.  Overall the quality is great though, looks nice, cleans easily, works well, but I end up using the smaller versions more often because they are just easier to use.  this one can definitely fit a lot more food but it is quite heavy to the point where I need 2 hands to lift it.

GREAT BUY and worth every penny. I liked it so much at the first time that I received it! Beautiful product, excellent quality but it is no easy to clean! I mean, I do not know why but everything that I cook in the small pots and pans, whatever it be, the food sticks in the pot and then when I washed it still appears white  spots!. Wow what can we say? Looked for a large roasting pan and found this gem that will handle the largest birds! Love the heavy stainless and nice lifting rack for when you want it.

Love this saucepan's size and features!
5
I had ruined my 1 quart pot on the bottom because by mistake, I had placed it on a foam covered cloth I use for air drying dishes.  This was a good mistake since This 2 quart saucepan is beautifully weighted, easy to clean, and comes with a lid that securely fits INTO the pot ; it securely stays in place if one needs to remove liquid and keep the solids. This is a beautiful saucepan that has the added benefit of being able to pour without making a mess, making it perfect for simmering whatever you gravy you choose to make. I highly recommend this pan! Trust me, you will use it more than any other pot or pan in your kitchen.

This one is hefty and very high quality.   Bought it to replace old coated cookware so it took a little getting used to with the temperature, using scratch-resistant utensils & just the general use - advise to read the instructions for care & use - they are there for a reason.  Cleaning is a little extra work for me because I like them looking nice but I use vinegar when needed & they clean up good.   I feel they are a good value.

Excellent Quality
3
I like that it is an excellent cooking pot for small portions of food, specially breakfast cereals, and small amounts of vegetables. Bought this to do some canning because I needed something deep enough to cover the mason jars & lids.  It works great on my induction cooktop.  Quality is top notch.

Good pan. Works well.  He cooks in one of these a lot and I see why. I got one of these because I am always watching the Cajun Ninja's YouTube channel and making his recipes.

One of the best pans I have ever used.
5
This pan distributes and dissipates heat incredibly well.   Adjusts to variations in heat levels quickly.   This is a great pan for mid-level cooks seeking to up their game and move on from non-stick pans.  My expensive SS Emeril set is not to be used for such abuse for sure.

Great Frying Pans
5
I especially like that I can pour out liquids without dripping or spilling. These pans work well for all types of food - I use them most often for eggs/omelets and stir-fry vegetables.  The two sizes work well, giving a lot of flexibility.  Best of all, they clean very easily.  I like them so much, I ordered another one!.

Great set!! Buy it!!
3
These are a nice gauge, not as thick as Allclad, but still ok.   The heat transfer is excellent, and these are the pans I need for cooking on a daily basis.   I have also got access to some copper-bottomed Revere Ware, and these actually do better than those for consistent heat transfer.   I like them a lot, and I use them all the time. Outstanding set of pots and pans.   My only  very minor  gripe is that the rivets that hold the handles on appear to be aluminum, and that is why I bought stainless in the first place.  No aluminum. This product everything is good only the sturdiness compared to previous one I owned is not good.

Replacement for older well used cookware
5
I did purchase one of the versa devices to help clean pot after a few uses and it is as good as day it arrived.   I love how it looks, and it is so sturdy. They do heat evenly on my glass induction cooktop. I have arthritis and these are far easier for me to manage than my old cast iron cookware.

Love this pan & its DISHWASHER SAFE!!!!!
5
I was having a difficult time finding a good roasting pan without the non-stick coating and a pan deep enough for lasagna at regular retail stores. I thought I needed a bigger pan but when I got this one I absolutely loved it.  Its the perfect size for things like gravy, and its DISHWASHER SAFE!!!!!.

Happy accident.

This small size is perfect for heating soup for one, making my morning hot cereal, melting butter, and so on.   I am using it much more than I ever thought I would.   I decided to keep it, and am very glad I did.   This is my third pot in this line.   I am very happy with this purchase.   They cook every bit as well as my extremely pricey Mauviel pots. I had ordered a different size, but this showed up instead.  This is pot is just an awesome shape & size for cooking a box of pasta and making soups too! Always loved glass lids! Definitely a versatile piece.   I love their heft and they way they distribute heat.

I like have that option while cooking. It is a great size when cooking for five.  Follow the instructions and do not use stove top on high heat.   But it cooks great and is just what I was hoping for as far as cooking like my old wok.

Frying Pan Cleaning?
5
Can cook on top of stove and finish meal by putting directly into oven. Cooked residue accumulated on inside rim of frying pan which eludes easy removal, even with oven cleaner.

After that we had to use a little of the powder form of the Bar Keepers Friend and made it as good as new. .   My husband took the big pot to church and way overcooked some chili on the gas cooktop.   These are sturdy well-made products.

So far we are very happy with them. I have had the same set of pans my mother initially bought me when I first moved to college 11.  We just have not yet gotten used to the idea of having so many options!I will update this review should anything bad occur with these.  It was time for an upgrade.  So far so good. 5 years ago.   She said that it was exactly what she needed.

Much better than my old wok
5
I was concerned about how it would clean up, but it was very easy to clean. I have had two woks before purchasing this one. I was a little nervous to buy this as I have a very low microwave over my stove and my previous stock pot was only an 8 quart.   The second one I had was coated with non-stick finish, and that finish started to crack and peel, and it was difficult to get clean. Love this replacement for my old wok.   It heats quickly and is a great size for lots of veggies.   It cooks quickly and I love the glass lid so I can see what is happening to the food while it is cooking.   The first one I had was not coated or treated and you could not use soap to clean it and it would rust if you put water in it for longer than 5 minutes.

These are very well made and perform better than expected. Love this roasting pan! It is easy to clean and nonstick because of its stainless steel.  I let it soak overnight, and voila, clean clean clean.  Maybe it will clean right after cooking, but I am usually tired and in a food coma by then, so I let it sit overnight.  Shame on me.

Great little pan
5
We have enjoyed this smaller size for sauces, quick eggs for two and browning .   I spray with olive oil once the pan is hot and that makes clean up a breeze.   I recommend this item. My husband and I like using stainless steal cookware and avoiding teflon coatings. I could go on forever about how much I love these pans! They are SO nice! We have had them for a few months now and they still look brand new! They heat up quickly which I love, but the handles do not get hot, so you can grab them with no problems! It is so handy.

I love these pots and pans
5
Instructions advise against putting on full high heat.  They head very fast on the 6 setting and then turn down a bit. I only wanted the two pots but it was cheaper to buy a 7-piece set including large stewpot and skillet all with fitted lids.  I can always use an extra skillet and had no stewpot so the set is great.  Lower heat can be used.

Great size
3
Of course, I guess that depends on just how stuck it is, but if you are not burning food into the pan you should not have any problem cleaning it. We bought this pan specifically for paella, but have found the size to be useful for so many other things.  I am very satisfied with the size, the domed lid is very nice and the handles make it easy to use in the oven as well as the stove top.  I thought it would be difficult to clean and while I could put it in the dishwasher, I do not. I guess the only thing I do not like is the all metal handle.  I am done with Teflon and similar types of cookware coating so we have made the move to ceramic coating or stainless steel.

Great set of pots and pans
5
The lid is domed so any steam that rises while cooking drains back into the pan instead of seeping out of the edge. These pots and pans are great: v sturdy, easy to cook with and they distribute the heat well.   ANd they look nice and are easy to clean.

I love the fact the lids are not made of glass   the ones I had bought previously were made of glass and it is very difficult to clean  this set is the opposite! Very easy to clean.   I needed to replace pots that I have had for 30 years.

Great pan all around, get it!
5
Thick base, will not warp, indestructible.  This my second copy, use both regularly.  Also had a stainless pan without a thick / flat base- had to give that away, it was no good on a flat top electric stove. Perfect pan for flat top stove and dishwasher. To prevent sticking on stainless: heat the pan, add oil, turn off heat, then add stuff to cook, then turn heat back on.  Easy to clean, good and sturdy.

Perfect little saucepan
5
The heat distribution of this little saucepan is great and the price can not be beat.  I like that it is stainless steel and has no coating that will peel off over time.  It is the perfect pan to make a couple bowls of soup for you and another person.  The very bottom of my microwave sits exactly 13 1/2 inches above my flat top stove.

Nice size pan for any kitchen to have at least one!
5
Pans are not at their best until they get broken in with flavors, years of cooking, that sort of thing. Gr8 little pan! If it gets a bit stained inside I could care less.  The weight, balance, coolness of handle. .  I do not plan to use it to serve at table.  those things are important to me; this pan passes the tests.  For the price it seems like an incredible deal.

They clean up great.  I had get them again & I had highly recommend. Love these!  The heat distribution is fine; I have not had any issues cooking anything. very happy with my purchase, I am leaving this review because reading other buyers opinion helped me decide to purchase the wok after I burned a few cheap ones, it is a little bit bigger than what I was expected, but works fine because I did not made a mess when cooking, I was surprised that is not heavy but it feels like you do have a great product on  your hands when handling the wok.

Excellent pan for the money!
5
There is a learning curve when cooking with stainless steel.  It works just as well when you know how to cook with it.  I personally prefer cooking with stainless steel. The first thing I want to make clear is that this is not a coated non-stick pan.  I have yet to cook anything that is too big or too much for this pan to handle.  It  is great for cooking so many different things! It is such great quality for $30 bucks! You really can not go wrong.  Most pans of this size and quality are way higher in price.  This is really the perfect pan to compliment your collection!.  It is sturdy and easy to clean.

the only bad thing about it is the cleaning,, just think like this ;u have a small kitchen , be prepare to splash water everywhere. It is great to have a steamer that fits a wide variety of sizes pots.   I do not have to have a particular ready for steaming, I can pick any pot and this steamer fits.   It could not get any sturdier than steel and it is very easy to clean.

Turning it off wont work. Love these pans.  Heat up quickly and evenly.  This pans are A+++.  Hated the non-stick.  Concerned about the non-stick flacking off and can not use them with high heat.  I always hand was them with soap/water and SOS.  Use a little oil and everything cooks perfect and clean-up is quick and easy.  I am on an electric stove so the cool down is to remove the pan from the heat.  Use a little oil and everything cooks perfect and clean-up is quick and easy.  Been using them since I bought them waited until now to give an honest review.

Great lasagna/roasting pan
5
The pan is heavy and solid, which means it can withstand the weight of a lasagna or a heavy chicken/duck. This is a GREAT lasagna pan.  I saw this at a great price and had to order it.  It comes with a rack so you can roast chicken in it too.

5
And the cost was so reasonable! It is a generously sized, attractively beautiful addition to my pan collection.  Even hubby loves using it for stir fry. This is an elegantly pretty pan with a functional glass lid.  The high shine finish makes this a special pan!. This is so much better than the iron wok  that I used to have which  imparted a metallic flavor to the food every time I used it no matter how many times I sealed it. At this price point this pot would be hard to beat.

WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!!! They heat so nice and even, cleans up like a dream but did find we have to cook with a lot less heat, it does not slow cooking time, just needs lower heat. Aafter searching for the best rated stainless steel cookware, these were rated the best, after reading the reviews decided to order them.  My husband also enjoys cooking and spending time in the kitchen, we are both pleased with the set and also the dome pan we ordered, great products, easy storage as well. As in some of the other reviews, BarKeepers Friend is a must, will bring that shine back like new, we use SOS on the tougher cleaning as well, but usually a little soak with dishsoap and warm water will loosen most anything up to remove easily.  Clean up is a breeze, very pleased. Easily a 5 star product!!!!.  Highly recommend.

Amazing pan!! So perfect for cooking for one person.  Also, if you are new to stainless steel pan, just remember1.  Preheat at medium heat for 3 min2.  Put oil in3.  Let it sit until oil wriggles at the edges5.  Put food inAnd it will not stick.  this pan still looks brand new, rivets on the handles are still nice and tight, stainless still shines like the day i pulled it out of the box.

Review for Cuisinart 725-30D Chef's Classic Stainless 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Dome lid
5
Worth the purchase price I think. I really am loving this new pan! It is nice stainless steel.   Since the aluminum is encapsulated or covered in stainless steel, you will not get aluminum in your food while cooking, but yet enjoy the even cooking of aluminum. .  You really need to cook everything on low to medium in this pan, because they were not kidding about that heavy encapsulated aluminum spreading the heat evenly and fast.  Will cook things with less electricity or gas used.  I especially love the fact it can go from top of the stove to oven, & I really love the handles.  I will use this pan often.   Will last a lifetime probably.

Cuisinart makes good pans
5
This is the second stainless pan setI have bought by Cusinart.  This set is slightly different and includes measurement markings on the inside of each pan.  They are great to cook with, easy to clean and last long.  You just need to know how to cook with and take care of stainless steel saucepans. Needed a pan that worked on an induction stove top and this one does.

Looks like new with no effort what so ever.  Because the back has some spots I am  thinking now to submerge the entire thing in soppy water for a night.  Next day I empty it, rinse it and dry it with paper towels and reuse it.  I am sure will look like new all over.  I know it will make an excellent roasting pan for meat or poultry, or use for my eggplant lasagne, or for any use one can think of.

I also bought the Chef's Classic Stainless 12  pan with the dome cover and I loved them so much that my husband bought me the large set for Christmas.  I believe these would be a good investment for anybody who needs a new set of pans or is looking to upgrade.  I can use my cast iron on it, but it just makes for too much cleaning afterwards.  I have another stainless pan of a different brand but it is really too big for what I needed to cook.   Both work just as well.  I bought this to replace my cast iron pan that I cooked breakfast in because our new stove is one of the glass top models.

My story..
5
Wow Wok.  I cook a lot of veges, so it is easy to hold lots to begin with .  The handle looked tiny for the size of the Wok.  great distribution of Heat.  But 2 days later, I realized that I would loose 10 $ on shipping and handling.  I shopped around, and could NOT find anything in this price.   Also, the Lid for the wok helps me put my cooked veges back in the Fridge with out transferring to another container. When the product first arrived at my house, I thought it was too big.   love it .  Then, I decided to use it. This is stainless steel replacement for my hard anodized aluminum 8 quart stockpot.  I planned to return it.

Cuisinart at a reasonable cost
5
You can not use abrasives on the surface or it will scratch.  Priced at $117. Cleaning can be difficult if food stick to the surface, so use low heat as recommended.  It cooks evenly, covers fit properly and it doesnot absorb stains from foods. I most likely had the heatto high and caused the problem.  I had to boilwater in the pan, and soak it overnight to clean it.  I have had no other problems with cleaning.  The only problem I had was eggs sticking to the fry pan. I highly recommend this set to anyone looking for a quality set of cookware at a very reasonable price. 00, with shipping, I purchased it. I needed a smaller pot for my oatmeal…this is perfect.

The top steamer is nice to steam veggies or fruits (to puree or freeze)
5
The larger pasta insert works great, if you do not fill the water too full!  The main pot has a  fill line  but I have a tendency to forget to turn the heat down, and I have spilled out starchy water several times. This pot is a kitchen staple for us.   Whoops!  We have also used the pot for large soups, because it is SO big.   Which is something to take into consideration - it is a BIG pot, so it requires a good chunk of space to store.   The top steamer is nice to steam veggies or fruits  to puree or freeze .   Not a problem, just something to note when purchasing. Extremely pleased.

good basic set
5
They can get water spots if you do not dry them immediately, but that is to be expected with this kind of shiny metal surface or finish. I have had non stick for ages, always wanted a set like these.  Spots wipe off with a damp cloth, then dry.  I just needed a basic small set for a single household that did not cost a fortune.  Good for their price range, they work well. I like mine a lot, they work well, had no problems with them.  Nothing wrong with it, I just feel more comfortable with this kind of pots and pans. I use this wok almost daily.  There are always expensive sets if you want high quality.

I love this pan
5
I love this pan. . . but IT IS HUGE!  I guess I dont really know what 14 inches looks like.   I wish there was a 12 inch version.   That two inches takes up my entire apartment stove.   But with that little wish, it cooks like a dream.   I use  medium heat  electric  and a little butter or oil.   It has scorced the oil when i walk away  ooops, pink bunnies . . . but the pan cleans right up.   I love it, i love it i love it.   I am careful with the glass lid after reading the reviews of them easily breaking.  The two sizes work well, giving a lot of flexibility.

Large capacity for home use.
5
It does take a while to heat up the pot of I fill it almost full.  Otherwise, this seems to be enough for at least a family of two to four.  I only cook for 2 but smaller pots can not hold enough pasta and water, or Chinese noodles.  The boiling water splashes out of our smaller pot. Very good value for the money. Simply: it is a lot larger than I imagined.

Great pot for the price
5
One thing to remember:  to avoid exterior discoloration, you need to keep the heat at medium or lower, which I find more than adequate for most dishes. I have been looking for a replacement for my aging 5 qt.   For smokin' hot, get out your cast iron or aluminum skillets.   It is replaced my old 5 qt.   For braising or boiling, this works great.   Made black-eyed peas for New Year's over the weekend, came out great and clean up was a breeze with a little Bar Keeper's Friend.   Just factor in a little extra time and you are all set.  plus the additional capacity will enable me to do more with it.  Of course, I guess that depends on just how stuck it is, but if you are not burning food into the pan you should not have any problem cleaning it.   This pot was $42 including s&h.

This pot is great for steaming seafood, pasta, & other foods.  My only problem is, the size I bought Is so tall, I have little room from the lid to my microwave bottom making it hard to use.  I have resorted to using it outside on the grill where it works fine.  I especially like that I can pour out liquids without dripping or spilling.

Perfect for a family
5
it is heavy when full.   Cooked meat for two types of soup using oil and realized you do not need a huge amount.   Pan browned beautifully then divided up meats and went on to make a large amount of soup. First one down side for me.   All went great and the second handle is a great help.   Kept the second I bought even though it was too big for my usage to give to a friend it was such a good deal. . .  Its sturdy enough to use outdoors or take to potlucks etc.

Wonderful Pans. Highly recommended.
5
If there is a draw-back, it would be that it is a bit heavy. These are incredible pans.  I highly recommend them.  I have an 8 inch and a 12 inch.  Note: get a 12 inch if you need a 10 inch pan.  Size is small at the base.

Great Cookware Set
5
We were devastated and really missed our pots. We registered for and recieved this cookware set for our wedding April 2005.  They originally came from Macy's and we hoped the store would reopen so we could repurchase.  It never did.  Then Hurricane Katrina hit August 2005 taking everything we owned with her.  When we bought our second home we really wanted to get these same pots, and  had them.  We were so thrilled.  We fell in love with the quality of this set.  The lids fit really nice, the handles do not get hot at all.  Easy to clean and care for too.  The pots heat evenly and do not over heat.  The best thing about stainless steel is you can use any sort of utensil in them, unlike coated cookware that you have to use plastic or rubber utensils.  If there is food stuck to the bottom you can soak it for a few minutes in hot soapy water and it will clean very easily.

Good enough for the occasional user.
5
The pan itself seems to be sturdy, a medium weight of highly polished stainless. I have used this once for lasagna, no turkey yet.  I cannot speak to durability yet, but so far, for the few occasions in a year I will use it, it seems to be a worthwhile investment.  I gave this pan a light spray of oil before building the layers and clean up was a breeze.  I was careful to use silicone and plastic utensils so as not to scratch the inside of the pan. This is a beautiful saucepan that has the added benefit of being able to pour without making a mess, making it perfect for simmering whatever you gravy you choose to make.   Lasagna pan clean-up can be messy.

Great multi-purpose pan
5
Whether it is frying onions or making soup, this pan works great. Love this 5 1/2 quart pan.  I have used it to cook meatloaf and cottage pie in the oven.  I had suggest getting a silicone pot holder for the handle and wearing an oven mitt when taking it out of the oven.  The pan is so heavy, the heat will soak through both quite quickly when holding it.  I cook almost everything in it.  The handles do not get hot when on top of the stove.  It also cleans up really nicely without too much effort. For boiling water and making hot chocolate and sauces.

Was not sure of size
5
I found stir-frying in smaller skillets fine, but this just makes it easy.   We recently switched to vegan so we do a lot of veggies. I do have to clean it after each use with Bar-Keepers Friend since it is not a  non-stick , but a quick 30 second scrubby-scrubby and I am good to give a quick wash.  There is enough flat space on the bottom so whatever you happen to cook has a place. I like it as much if not better that my non-stick skillets.   Not only is it the perfect size, it cooks evenly. This is the perfect size and holds everything I need to do!.

Excellent quality.
5
I have recommended this to anyone asking about buying a stir fry pan.   The only issue you may have is if you have a small stove as you will not have room for other pots and pans.   It cleans very easy, the food tastes great, it is VERY large which you can not always determine by looking at pictures or seeing dimensions, and the glass lid is very strong and good quality.   I also do not recommend this for camping. I did everything in the book, this not working for me.

I just received this one last night and used it also and it is fantastic.   I am in love with this!  I cannot believe how big it is and it cooks so nicely.   You know how you order something and when it is delivered it really is nice but not what you were hoping for, well this has exceeded my expectations and is EXACTLY what I wanted!!!. I have been searching for a larger than 12  frying pan that did not break the bank on cost.  I can always use an extra skillet and had no stewpot so the set is great.

Cleaned up beautifully and best of all was no stick.  Non stick pans give off fumes which are lethal to them.  As a senior citizen, my old faithful roaster was just too heavy when getting in from an oven. P. S. Best part was light weight.  Turkey cooked in was great. Very well made and easy to clean.

It has measuring lines on the inside and the pour spout is so convenient. Love this pot.   Love that it has two different size holes on the edge of the lid so that I can drain different size pasta.   Having a glass lid is helpful too and the heavy bottom keeps the heat distributed.   Can not say enough good things about it.   Great product, easy to clean.

It is too large for the bottom of my oven in the broiler section but fits in the oven just fine it is very heavy duty I wish I could find a lid to put on it. This product everything is good only the sturdiness compared to previous one I owned is not good.  Generally is still good to buy.

A Great Wok
5
My fault I guess. I like its size for large meals.   In fact I seem to need very little oil for cooking things that might normally stick.  What I do not like is that for smaller groups it is too large.  For example for just my wife and I I have to resort to my cast iron skillet.  If I were a full time chef this would not be a problem but for the occasional cook it is.  It handles well.

I use bar keepers friend once in a while to keep them looking new. I love this little pan, just bought it and it is wonderful for frying a little pepper.  I would definitely recommend to any on who wants to try stainless instead of nonstick.  It is a learning curve to cook with stainless when I have used nonstick for so long, but I will never go back to nonstick again these pan are wonderful.  You will not be sorry, they will last for a long time.  Just remember to cook on low heat, which I discovered  when I bought the 14  pan a few years ago.  I plan to buy more of these pots and pans.

I bought this for my wife as she wanted another 5QT pot to add to her collection, she already had a 5QT stock pot and instead of buying another one of those I took a chance on this 5 1/2QT multipurpose pot. Very good deal
5
It is especially good for reheating rice, Chinese dumplings and other leftovers that the microwave does not handle well.   Of course it steams veg too at a rate that uses less electricity than a plain pot.   This lid fits the pot without the strainer on it as well, giving me an extra saucepan.   I would say it is big enough to hold meal size portions.   And being stainless it is easy to wash by hand and also fits we will in the dishwasher.   I wish I had bought this before. The truth is, I saute a _lot_.

The nice feature is the helper handle. Cooked residue accumulated on inside rim of frying pan which eludes easy removal, even with oven cleaner.   I use it every day. A must have to kitchen equipment

Stews, soups, sauces, jam all work well in this.   Easy cleanup.   I have not seen any black spots that others have said they have noted upon using the pan.   It is my go to cooking vessel.   I bought one of these for my son and he is very happy with it.   He says it is also the pan he uses the most in cooking since he received it.   I like the glass lid that allows me to monitor contents as they cook.   I purchase the 12  everyday pan at the same time as this one and I am so impressed with both of them!I would highly recommend this cookware to anyone who spends as much time in the kitchen as I do.

Great pan!
3
If you have ever watched Alton Brown, this pan is perfect for making his  Savory Polenta!  I like this pan so much, I bought a 2nd one! Price is right, comes with a lid which is a bonus, and is easy to clean. Been using this  2 now  pan for about 4 months.  I do not ever need to go above medium heat on my electric range, unless I want to boil something.   Can not think of anything I do not like about it.  If using gas you may need a diffuser as it is sensitive to heat.  It is great for sauces, ie: bechamel, gravys, etc.  I hope they liked  them, they were on their wish list.  This pan heats up evenly.

Love it!
5
For those who said it burns, I believe this is user error.   I have used this three times to make chicken stir fry and have yet to burn anything.   When using a wok, it is necessary to keep the food moving therefore the chance of burning the food is less likely.   If anything, I was not able to get the heat high enough on my stove to keep the juice from the chicken from forming and then needing to "cook" it off. I read a lot of the reviews on this wok prior to purchasing and was hesitant only because of those reviews that said it burns everything.   This is because of my stove, not the pan.   The same goes for those who burn their food, it is probably your stove, not the pan. Over time, I keep downsizing my cooking utensils and this is the mini version of the others I have which have served me for maybe 25 years.

Love this pot
5
Bought many years ago, my first stainless set. Love this pot!!!! They clean up really nice even when you burn something on the a little!! I also love the weight, a little heavy but not so much that you can not pick it up with liquid in it.  I also love that it has strainer holes on the side of the cover, it comes in handy when you boil potatoes or spaghetti, etc.  and you want to drain them! I have put it in the dishwasher a couple of times too and it came out beautifully clean, but I do not put good pots in my dishwasher often because it reeks havoc on them after a while!.

A great pot for a great price!
5
It is true that it is not as thick as some other cookware, but I do not necessarily view that as a bad thing. I must say that I really do love this pot.   I have had this pot for a couple of weeks now, and I have found it very useful for blanching vegetables, boiling potatoes  a whole 5 lb.  bag with plenty of room to spare , boiling pasta and all sorts of other things where I want the water to come to a boil quickly, but I do not need a heavy pot for a long braise.   This pot fills exactly those needs.  Calphalon pot a half hour to come to the boil!  But this pot is not as heavy, so it does not take as long.   I would recommend this pot for any kitchen as a suitable alternative to your heavier cookware.  All still look new.

Clean it last and you will be just fine. Just like your ex, you can fill this thing with more meat than you thought it could take.   This pan was perfect.  It is not super thick steel but it will hold up so long as you are not beating it like a drum while you are trying to situate it in the sink for a wash.

Great pan
3
After using this stainless skillet though, I have to say I love how much hotter it gets in the pan and how quickly it can cool afterwards for washing.  It took a little while to get used to the fact that foods will stick for a while when cooking, but it is really easy to clean up afterwards even when the bottom seemed burnt. This has been my everyday pan since I got it a few weeks ago.  After washing, there are sometimes some stains on the pan afterward, so I recommend getting some kind of cleanser/polisher so you can make it look great again.   It is solid and for the price, a great value.

Good buy!
5
It does have a bump up in the bottom so it is not ideal for making gravy directly in the pan.  Overall, I love it though! I am not a fan of non-stick so it was great to find a pan that was all stainless. Fits two chickens easily! The pan is easy to clean though the rack is a bit tricky as it did not fit in my dishwasher. Bought this to replace an ultra cheap, teflon peeling ,scratched egg pan.

Great Little Skillet
5
It is small so make sure that you really want an 8-inch skillet!. This skillet is well-constructed. Because of the grand scale of the thing, I am not entirely sure it would be the right choice for some ranges.   The nonstick finish makes clean-up a breeze.   I expect it to last a long time.

My favorite!
5
i have even used it to fix scrambled eggs.  Clean up is so easy since it has not fancy-dancy non-stick coatings, I am very happy with this beautiful pan.  I only wish there was a 2 quart size. With the finish on the outside, I have to say it is even pretty especially if on top of my wonderful black smooth top stove.  It is shaped so nicely for using for making sauces, gravies, and even to use as a deep, small saute pan.  Still, cast iron does have a lot of space in my kitchen, too, but this is the pretty one.  I love this thing!. I finally gave up on as seen on TV non stick alyminum pots that flake and warp.

It is massive, I got it to replace an old nonstick one that was bit smaller and all the more dangerous when the nonstick started to peel. I have had this pan for about 4 months now and used it 8 or 10 times.  I have done roasted meat and made gravy/pan sauce right in the roaster - worked out great.  Handles are sturdy, the included rack is perfect, and the pan has plenty of heft to it for good heat distribution, even on stove top.

We have a gas burner and have found these work best if you start your flame on high then lower the temperature once they are heated otherwise it is a pain to clean burnt food off. Great cookware set.  Clean erasers to get burnt stains off when baking soda, vinegar, etc methods failed. The first thing I want to make clear is that this is not a coated non-stick pan.

When heated I can turn the pan down to medium and it holds the heat very nicely.   That being said, I have found it to be a great time saver for me.   I am very pleased with my purchase from Warehouse Deals on .   If there is any stuck on food say from something like potatoes with onions and garlic, I just soak it on low for a few minutes and it cleans up very nicely.   In fact I seem to need very little oil for cooking things that might normally stick.  Just have to get to know them, not place blame cause you can not cook.   I can make up to five small pancakes in it, or finish things like sauces and potatoes very quickly to name a few recent things that have been in the pan.

I love that the handles come up and away from the sides making it easy to grab and lift the pan even when loaded with my roast, the rack fits perfectly inside the pan and easily held the roast while making it easy to get to the juices for basting.  The rounded corners also make this pan easy to clean when all done.  Overall a fabulous find and one I plan on using over and over again. A good complete set
5
It held up and proved to be a great buy.  I like all it is features and the set has all the cookware I had want and need without buying a trailer full of pots.  Like with all cookware cheap or expensive- make sure learn how to use it correctly and treat it. I just tried the saucepan- throw some shaved potatoe on it, tossed it with veggies, and topped it with cheese and cream- loved it! It is light, durable, with a simple design.  This is a low maintenance product with professional quality.  I was a bit skeptical at first because it was so shiny and light, I thought it looked cheap.  Those who say that everything burns on easy are cooking at a heat that is too high.

It held our 30 pound turkey just fine, could maybe even handle one slightly bigger.  Even after hours in the oven it cleaned up to look as good as new.  I have also used it for a smaller turkey for Christmas and even a larger chicken. I have been struggling with disposable tin pans for years but when we hosted T-day last year I decided it was time to invest in a good roasting pan.  I am very happy with the purchase. The fry pan is fine.

Wash it first.

I noticed the black oil around the machined holes and washed it by hand with dawn dish detergent.   Saw no black in the water after cooking pasta.   This is the perfect pot size for pasta.   Great for potatoes as well.   Steam veggies at the same time.   Heats up faster than my nonstick pots.   the handles had some coating for heat protection. It is our second set.

Very nice pan at a good price for its genre.
5
It is working super well with my glass top range.  We use it for stir frying, curry dishes, and sauteing larger amounts of onion and mushrooms for soup.  I do not have any complaints yet.  Hopefully it will hold up.  If I had to trim my life down to 100 items suggested by Internet minimalist challenges, this wok would be near the top of my keepers list.

Do not be silly like me know your volumes. Great built quality!
5
In case you are were like me and had a scratch in a sauce pan and now want a new one the next day this pan is great but the key is getting the size correct this is for a soup can and if you actually read the size and know it it says it but you you need a larger one it is not for you great build quality and no apparent scratch resistant coating to scratch off.  Just get the larger size.   Wonderful heat distribution and non-stick coating.

A hardworking pot
3
I use the pot every day and it gets the job done.  The product was smaller than expected as per the description.  I am very satisfied with the size, the domed lid is very nice and the handles make it easy to use in the oven as well as the stove top.

The pans do not need high heat since the heat is distributed evenly on its surface.
5
I loved these pans! They are solid but light, the food does not stick to them and the heat is distributed evenly; you do not need to put the fire on high and everything cooks perfectly.  Washing them is very easy, with a soft sponge, but do not forget to dry them very well before storing. Excellent Quality, Especially for the Price
5
On the few occasions that has not worked I use Bon Ami, and on the even fewer times when the really tough, burned on stuff was too much for Bon Ami, Barkeeper's Friend scouring powder did the trick. I use this wok almost daily.   It is large enough to make a stir fry dinner for an entire family in the one pot.  If I had to trim my life down to 100 items suggested by Internet minimalist challenges, this wok would be near the top of my keepers list.   It cleans up pretty easy with steel scouring pads.  I also use them for frying, sauteing and reheating.  I like the fact that it is healthy stainless steel and not some chemical coated pan.

it discolors a bit after usage, but is all in all a good all-purpose pan that heats evenly for stir-frying and other things.  would like to try cooking chinese potstickers in the pan some time.   it is not non-stick, but is probably better for you as stainless steel versus eating non-stick coming off the pan.   one reason i like it is that you can cook at a higher heat.  it is best on medium heat, but for quick stir-fries -- there is no non-stick coming off under high heat. wonderful pan--love it.  high heat is what usually destroys most non-stick pans.   would not recommend continuous usage under a high flame, but for brief spurts its okay.  would give it four stars as a reasonably priced good product.  Sometimes the handles get in the way, other than that it is a good product.

Very moderate price for a high quality skillet!. I got it to cook a  rib and was what I expected and more.   Wonderful heat distribution and non-stick coating.   Bottom is absolutely flat so it works great on my glass-top range. This is a great little skillet.

Excellent product
5
Great product love that it can fit a 24lb turkey. If you are one of those people who are concerned over the long term health effects of the non-stick cooking pans, this stainless steel pan is an excellent alternative. It does a great job in handling large amounts of food.   Thick bottom and the smooth inside surface are ideal for stir-fry and other similar tasks.   Very comfortable and cool handle.   However, it did not happen to me.   I believe people who described that condition put this pan on the largest heat element on the stove.   Although this pan is 14 inch in diameter, the flat bottom is barely 8 inches, and you need the match the size of the heater to the flat bottom of the pan.   For most stoves, that is the middle element. It is a great buy at this price  I paid less than $40 .    it were easier to store.

Have been very happy with it. This is a good quality, sturdy, useful all-around pan that can even go from oven to table. This pan is huge!  You can get an entire pound of bacon in here.  Can be used for casseroles, beef or chicken roasts   the high dome lid allows for that , paella — all kinds of dishes.

5
I pretty much beat up my skillets. I love this pan.  Just for my own education, I tried cooking those eggs with NO oil, oil spray or anything.  bared naked pan.  it did ok.  I use vegetable oil spray and the results look just like one of those happy infomercials! I prefer that method.  Perfect!  for me anyway .  If you do not like the idea of the silicone in some of the spray brandss, use either a diy-oil mister of just plain oil   a few drops .  This is a great pan at a fabulous price.  I really like the fact that it will work on my counter top induction cooker.

5
It was much bigger than I expected.   Does not fit in my dishwasher so I will have to hand wash it.   But it cooks great and is just what I was hoping for as far as cooking like my old wok.   I would never pay their MSRP, but at $35, it is a great deal!. I thought I needed a bigger pan but when I got this one I absolutely loved it.

Use it all the time
5
I recently lost my All Clad large skillet pan in a house fire, and bought this to replace it, and I absolutely love it.   It handles so many different cooking tasks, from making pasta sauce, to frying up a big pan of potatoes.   Plenty of room, and a nice depth helps keep things from splashing out.   Cleans up nicely, too.   Very happy with my purchase and was a fraction of the cost of the All Clad. I liked it so much at the first time that I received it! Beautiful product, excellent quality but it is no easy to clean! I mean, I do not know why but everything that I cook in the small pots and pans, whatever it be, the food sticks in the pot and then when I washed it still appears white  spots!.

One Great Pan
5
I was a cook in the service 30 years ago and used stainless but this is a far better pan than those were. About a year or so ago I bought this pan for my daughter.  If you have never used this type of pan before they do take a little time to learn how to cook with them, but it is well worth the effort.  They clean up easy and are far more forgiving than Teflon, and when used correctly have the same non-stick surface.  I posted a review based on her statements to me that she loves it.   I have not seen any black spots that others have said they have noted upon using the pan.

This is stainless steel replacement for my hard anodized aluminum 8 quart stockpot.  It does what it is supposed to and, best of all, it goes in the dishwasher, which is why I bought it.  It also has volume markings inside, an unexpected extra benefit.  Regardless of this, the pan itself is an amazing purchase.

Good Pot For The Price
5
The lid fits well, it is easy to clean, it fits perfectly on the largest burner of my stove, and it is well worth the price. I use this for steaming artichokes, boiling pasta, and making chicken stock, all heavy-weight jobs that make me grateful for the light weight of the pot.   I had to scale-down my kitchen equipment when we moved recently, and I found I could do without all of my big pots except this one and an 8 qt.  dutch oven.  Add to that a 3 qt. saucepan, and 8 and 10 inch cast iron frying pans. . .  It is not for browning, and other jobs that are best done with a heavy-weight dutch oven. . cooking vessels complete.   And all are available here on . .   The handles on the pots stay cool but the ones on the lids seem to get alittle hotter.

Great size and good design.
5
I am glad I went with this pot because she loves it. I bought this for my wife as she wanted another 5QT pot to add to her collection, she already had a 5QT stock pot and instead of buying another one of those I took a chance on this 5 1/2QT multipurpose pot.   The rounded sides make it better for  scraping  the sides with a Spatula and still provides enough contact with the cook top to distribute heat well.   We have several pieces of Chef's Classic series cookware so I knew the quality would be there. 5
The entire pot and top is so versatile I am reaching for it a lot, but so heavy I need to put a hook next to the stove so it can be easily reached.  The glass cover is awesome.  For the price it seems like an incredible deal. I have been an avid cook for most of my life, and use these several times a day. I could not pass this up for the price.  When it arrived I was impressed with the size and the weight of it, It has proven itself to be a valuable addition to my kitchen.  It is very versatile and goes well from cook top to oven and cleans up easily.  My only recommendation is to make sure it will fit on your cook top and in your oven.  It is just the right size for the largest burner on my cook top and if it were an inch bigger it would not fit in my oven.  All-in-all a wise choice for anyone who is looking for a do it all kind of pan!.

Good quality cookware
5
Even with stuck-on food, it comes clean after an overnight soak with Dawn and a light scrubbing.  It heats quickly and evenly, even on a hot plate.  I use it almost every day and it still looks like I just bought it! It is the perfect size for everyday cooking. I highly recommend this pan! Trust me, you will use it more than any other pot or pan in your kitchen.  Since it is stainless steel, it is very easy to clean. **UPDATE September 2015** This pan is still going strong - 5 years in! I use it 1-2 times per week.  I have also used this pan for deep frying and long slow simmers on a gas stove. I have owned this product since September 2011.  Love it.  I have used it for stir fry, beans and rice, pasta, ragu, soups and to sear meats. These are excellent all purpose skillets for everyday use.

UPDATE!!!!! its all right

but it is one of the biggest SS pans you can get. April-2012its a good price for the money, not as heavy duty as people/ and the description says. March-2013Been using the pan for almost a year now, and I must say, this pan has completely WOW'ed me!!!! changed my stars from 3 to 5.  this pan still looks brand new, rivets on the handles are still nice and tight, stainless still shines like the day i pulled it out of the box. ***NOTE*** about once a month i use a product called barkeepers friend, it is a powder type cleaner, along with a blue scratch free scotch bright pad, these products will keep your stainless steel pots and pans looking brand new,. Nice, heavy pan.

It is a bit on the heavy side but very sturdy.   This wok has been excellent for stir fry and is easy to clean, and of course as it is stainless steel, no rust.   The price was good, under $30. 00, so I have certainly gotten my money's worth as I use it frequently.   I definitely recommend it. What we needed and more
5
This was large enough for that.  It has more though. We really just wanted a pot for crab and lobster.  It has a great built in colander and steamer basket.  It is so nice to just lift out the insert and the water drains.  No more trying to dump your pasta into a different container to strain it.  It is well constructed too and heats evenly.  We got ours on sale so the price was more than right.  This is a great multi use pot that ended up serving more functions than we purchased it for.  Also, this pan is dishwasher safe, which was a MAJOR consideration.

Perfect large pot for chili
5
The only con is that the glass top condenses and you need to be careful that you are not dripping hot condensation on the floor or counter.   I flip the cover over when I remove it to prevent burns and drips.   I fry the onions and burger in the pan; add the other ingredients; put the electric on ultra low; and voila a perfect pot of chili.   This is a nice set for the avid cooker. Large pot and perfect for making chili.

works for me and is solid
5
Overall, it is a great value and I would purchase more when needed. I had to replace a old 1. 5 quart pan I had for 20 years with this one and it is working out great.   I was worried the handle would get real hot and I would need to purchase a rubber handle  more cost  but it surprising never gets hot to the touch.   It is a little warm near the pan portion but who holds the pan at that location anyway. Love this little pan!  It heats very evenly and is a great size for a couple of eggs.   There is some discoloration after several uses but it does not affect the taste and I expect some Patina if you will for stainless steel.   I suppose there are magic cleaners out there to make it shiny again but I am more afraid of the chemical than some color change.   It is solid and for the price, a great value.

Perfect Pan
5
Guess I adore the idea even more because its size does not take up inordinate cabinet space in my challenged kitchen. Strong and solid quality, this mirror finish beauty is the perfect size for me  I am petite ; the substantial riveted handles are easy to grasp and slide the pan from the oven racks without  much fuss.  And what a bargain!!!!!. I bought it to make my family's favorite, buttery Spanakopita during Thanksgiving weekend and nothing stuck.  I know it will make an excellent roasting pan for meat or poultry, or use for my eggplant lasagne, or for any use one can think of.  Older version handles always hit very hot.  It is also is a dream to clean in hot sudsy water.

I will order another one soon, so I can always have my favorite pot available to use.  Love these pans.  It has fantastic conduction on an electric stove and washes well in the dishwasher. I was looking for a great mid-sized pot to use daily for making brines, grits, sauces, soups, and rice dishes.

So good I bought another.

Even hubby loves using it for stir fry. I had a set of stainless steel cookware from a famous chef.  I kept using the cookware because I could not find much with a pour spout and straining lid.  I bought a 2 and 3 quart pan and was very pleased with the quality, heaviness and beauty of these pans.  I liked them so much I ordered another set.  Love the glass lid and the strainer holes are different sizes on each side.  The pans are a good size, not too deep like my kitchen-aide set.  I prefer a pan that is more shallow as items do not take as long to heat.  I have nothing negative to say about this cookware.

5
The bonus, which I did not expect, is that it is fabricated in a way that it does not drip when you pour from it. It is great to have a steamer that fits a wide variety of sizes pots. Needed a pan that worked on an induction stove top and this one does.

I will throw my 5-star rating in the pot
3
I like the second handle for example when making pancakes to swish the batter around.   The handle never gets hot.   The non-stick is really super non-stick.   After I wash it, it is almost dry.   It is maybe a little heavy, but anyone buying this knows how much it weighs, and I think the handle offsets that.   Plus I can use a lot less oil because of this surface. I am very impressed with this. I LOVE this pan.   There are only a couple beads of water inside immediately after rinsing.

Our new standby
3
Nice sturdy pot, steamer and lid are a good fit. I like that it is an excellent cooking pot for small portions of food, specially breakfast cereals, and small amounts of vegetables.  Works great on the old gas stove when we need to use that, too.  Cleans up well, even when you scorch the living hell out of the contents . .  not that I have ever done that.  Never.  Heats up fast on our induction stove top.

Very Nice Addition to My Cookware
5
I had to adjust cooking times as between the electric stove and the pans everything is different from cooking with gas and my old cheap pots. Large enough and versatile for cooking variety of dishes.

Classy and elegant!
5
I love this pan and I think you will too. This is another example of getting what you pay for.  I use it for everything from casseroles to roasting.  This think is a monster and I love it!I am contemplating a second one but have not decided between a 14 and a 12 yet.  It is shiny and expensive looking.  Handles are flared as pictured to make carrying easier.  It is light weight compared to the cast iron, glass and ceramic which I was using.  Best of all, no worries about cracking or exploding in the oven as reported by others that use the glass and ceramic.  The quality is obvious with the heavy duty handles and thick metal.

Good pan, but no lemon dishwasher detergent, it says
5
I was looking for a pan with easy to clean feature that made the removal of food a simple matter of wiping with soap and water. Works nicely on induction burner, but I was surprised to see the care instructions said no lemon scented dishwasher detergent, unlike any other stainless steel I have owned.

Cooks Oatmeal and Grits with Little Cleanup
5
I started researching non-stick and decided not to get another set of those which lead me to this pan. It heats quickly and evenly and I have made several dishes in this including oatmeal and grits and there were no problems. My non-stick pans were starting to peel so I was looking for a new set.  I thought these things would stick and be hard to clean but they were hard to clean out of the non-stick pan. This is a small pan and I love it as I am a solo cook and many of things I made are just for me.  It also has volume markings inside, an unexpected extra benefit.

Great skillet
5
A breeze to clean.   I am no chef and tend to cook everything on High.   A little olive oil and constant flipping to keep the food from sticking and it makes the skillet easy to clean.   I am very pleased with it, I love stainless steel and will not cook with coated non-stick skillets or pans.

Excellent for the price.
5
This is a nice pot, pan, saute, saute pan, ya saute pan.  It is massive, I got it to replace an old nonstick one that was bit smaller and all the more dangerous when the nonstick started to peel.  This has been a wonderful replacement it heats up fast, the handle stays nice and cool, and it is shiny.  Only problem is it started to "rust" quick, mainly because 8 people live in my house, and it is always being washed and used.  I use this for everything, it just cooks so well.  The lid is perfect, though I secretly wish it was glass, the shiny is nice.  It is heavy which can be a good and bad thing.  The handles stay cool which is a good thing.  It started to rust really fast.  No glass lid.  BIG which can be a good thing or a bad thing  I think it is a good thing myself .  If you have never used this type of pan before they do take a little time to learn how to cook with them, but it is well worth the effort.

Otherwise awesome and easy to clean. Exactly what I was looking for.   Stainless steel rack and roaster.   Spent alot on racks that turned out to be basically disposable.   No longer.

Nice, convenient saucepan
5
This saucepan is pretty nice, especially that you can lift it by handles without burning your hands.  The only inconvenience for me is that the cover is made of stainless steel, not glass, so to see how it is cooking you have to open it. For boiling water and making hot chocolate and sauces.

Great Soup Pot
5
I figure if I am going to be cutting up onions, celery and carrots, as well as different veggies, I may as well be productive and efficient and do a few different kinds of soups at the same time.   Works out great. I have 3 of these pots and use them to cook different soups at the same time. I originally bought this pan for stir frying large portions of food.

This thing's huge !
4
It cleans well and the stainless interior cooking surface appears to resist scratching easily. There is no way I would have found this 14  skillet discounted at a local retail store - ever - for the price I paid from .   The extra handle improves one's ability to manage and clean the skillet.   Very happy with the value at the price paid.   It would have been great to have a clear glass or lexan lid that fit the diameter of the skillet.   Do not know if one can be purchased separately.   I use it often.   There is always the splatter screen and aluminum foil to serve as substitutes when needed.   The item is well-designed and constructed.  I bought this one as a spare and to use as a double boiler with the other 1.

I like this brand very much.  Because no need to use scrub only clean with few drops of liquid soap.  And its like new. I loved these pans! They are solid but light, the food does not stick to them and the heat is distributed evenly; you do not need to put the fire on high and everything cooks perfectly.

Great pan but quite large
5
The sides are unquestionably thinner as they are purely stainless steel whereas the bottom is a stainless steel, aluminum, stainless steel sandwich.   I work with metal routinely and you would have to do some pretty bad stuff to this pan to worry about it warping.   Some complaints about this product was that the sides feel flimsy.   All around it is quite handsome and has been fantastic to cook with.   My one complaint is that I wish I could have bought this pan in a slightly smaller size but at the same great price and with a lid. I think that this pan is terrific and the price makes it even better.   For one person this pan is comically large but for a couple or a family this would be perfect.  Just be careful because the pot lids DO get hot! Sometimes I forget that.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. After much research, I bought this set as a Christmas gift to myself, and I could not be happier.  This set is a great value for the price.  Next day I empty it, rinse it and dry it with paper towels and reuse it.  If you are looking to upgrade to a stainless steel cookware set this is the must have to be perfectly honest.

It has a tendency to stick.

My favorite
5
It is also is a dream to clean in hot sudsy water. I love my new pan.   I can cook enough burgers or steaks for the family at one time now instead of having to cook in  batches .   The pan cleans easily.  It is of sturdy construction without being too heavy, and it works very nicely on my electric smooth-top stove.   I also love the glass lid that allows you to see what is going on during the cooking process.  While probably too large to be much use for a family of one or two, I would highly recommend this pan for larger families or for cooking in larger quantities.   It has become my favorite skillet.

Great Pan!
5
Those complaining about the quality must be professional cooks, because I find this pan just right.   It is not too heavy to be easily managed, yet it is plenty thick to qualify as great quality.   Besides the recent health concerns, the cost was killing me.   I highly recommend this pan!. I finally ordered this pan after my husband and daughter continued to ruin nonstick pans faster than I could purchase them. the only bad thing about it is the cleaning,, just think like this ;u have a small kitchen , be prepare to splash water everywhere.   I could not be more thrilled with the pan.

Great product, easy to clean. Arrived quickly.  Love how they are designed so that you can balance the lid on the handle when you need to stir the food and the handle is also designed to hold your utensils when not in use.  There is enough flat space on the bottom so whatever you happen to cook has a place.

Thrilled
2
It is large enough to make a stir fry dinner for an entire family in the one pot.   The weight of the pans are wonderful too, they feel well-made, but not crazy-heavy.   To all those people worried about food sticking, I use a slightly lower heat and heat the pans thoroghly before adding food or oil, as well as following the cleaning and care instructions that came with them  nothing onerous, soak in hot water and soap and handwash, occasionally with bon-ami and I do not have any problems.   I am thrilled with my purchase and would highly recomend them.

Awesome
5
I also used it to make pork chops, I fried them on top of the oven and then put it in the oven to bake, it came out perfect.  Worth the investment.  This skillet has changed everything!! It fits my largest burner, so I can fit more food in and cook it all evenly.  The lid,  which is metal not glass  fits perfectly.  No more $30 pot and pan sets for me!.  I have been using it to make soup, and it holds the 32oz of broth plus 2lbs of chopped meat and chopped veggies.  I have cheap sets from target or somewhere, with the black handles.  I have not had any issues cleaning: little soapy scrub, then a quick polish with Bar Keepers Friend and they look brand new.  The lid does get hot, so you will need a potholder to lift the lid.

5
I was concerned about the "stains" left by regular use but as I read from other reviews, Bar Keepers Friend works great and a quick "touch up" once a week or every 10 days makes them look new again!. I have had these pans for almost a month now.  I like have that option while cooking.   I find these pans do not require the same flame my old pans did.   I am still getting used to the heat distribution as the stove  gas  I have is also new.

When she thanked me I knew she had no idea how much I had paid but it does have a hundred dollar list price after all.  Guess she did not research like some people would and for my birthday adjacent March, $200 in an envelope was all the review one could give to this giant wok.  But this one was a lifesaver.  My sister's birthday is towards the end of February and what do you know it comes back every year too.  Not a word you guys, please. I do not cook but I do know a good piece of metal because I worked for years doing precision sheet metal parts. Love this little pan!  It heats very evenly and is a great size for a couple of eggs.  End of the month I am clean as a whistle and there is my wife's birthday same February next to my sister's.

Would you like a pot lid that doubles as a tambourine/cymbal combo
3
It has a mirror shine finish that cleans fairly easily without needing the non-stick coating. Are you afraid of home invaders? Do you frequently find yourself making dishes that would not be appropriate in a stockpot nor in a skillet? Would you like a pot lid that doubles as a tambourine/cymbal combo? Then this is the pan for you!I have the skillet version of this pan and *love it*! I bought this pan because for larger dishes I needed something with a lot of surface area and a lid that would hold a lot of liquid, yet be open enough to let some liquid evaporate for browning/saute action on some onions.  I have no doubt I will get years of use out of this pan like I did with the skillet version.

Follow the directions for use and they do a great job.  Be sure to reduce heat when cooking.  These conduct heat better than anything I have ever used.  I also recommend keeping at least 1 non-stick skillet for eggs though.  I have tried every method I know to prevent it.  But still an awesome cookware set.

Wonderful Set for Gas Stove
5
This was a great purchase, especially for the price. I love to cook and get creative in the kitchen, but my nonstick cookware just was not cutting it on my new gas stove.   These pans work great.   They heat evenly, and quickly. Perfect size for  eggs, any which way.   They are just like the pans you see professional cooks using on cooking shows.   They are easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.   If anything sticks or stains you can follow the instructions given with the cookware to use water and a non-lemon detergent and heat on the stove, or you could purchase the Barkeeper's Friend Cookware Cleaner like I did.   Both work just as well.   The long handles on the saute pans do NOT get hot, just as stated.

My favorite Food Tool
5
The domed lid is perfect because I can braise roast type of cuts and fill the bottom with veggies etc.  The handles do get very hot however, making an oven mitt or dish cloth necessary.  The curved edges make pan tossing easier although I am not much of a tosser. This is currently my favorite kitchen tool.  The skillet it a little on the light side, so when I am using a spatula it slides over the burner when not filled with food.  It browns meat very VERY well, creating a nice fond that screams : Deglaze Me !The size is perfect to make paella for 4 people and the materials are easy to clean, even when heavily encrusted with crud and grease. Gr8 quality and above average construction.

Let it sit until oil wriggles at the edges5. I bought these on a  Day sale, and I have been so glad that I did.  Each pan has a heft to it that suggests quality, and they are a pleasure to cook with.  One of my absolute favorite features of this set is that the pots have interior markings along one side that indicate the amount of water or other liquid that is in the pan.  This has been a surprisingly useful feature!.

Best all-around pots and pans by far
3
Bought one set 4 years ago but needed more saucepans.  The set is a great buy compared to buying individual pieces  of open stock. Love that they can go in the oven or broiler. Although I use them everyday, they look as beautiful as they did new.  I just follow the use and care information included with the pots: fill them with warm soapy water after use, do not use metal utensils, cook at normal cooking temperatures. Excellent professional quality set of pots and pans.  I am so glad  had these pots available to purchase at a reasonable price, since Target bought then closed Chef's Supply  where I used to get them .   It looks and performs as described by the seller.

Then. . my Christmas ham roasted perfectly, and then the real test - clean up.  I cooked my ham with an apricot glaze and dreaded having to get all of all the  gunk out and off this pan but it all came off so easy with soap and hot water!, I did not have to use a scrubber which I did not want to do and ruin the beautiful shine!! I did not have any of the smoking issues other reviewers mentioned  I always add some water to the bottom of my pan while cooking.

The 2qt SS pan with the glass lid is very well built and will last a very long time.  Compared to other cookware for the same price it is outstanding..

Ease of use and size.

Good heat distribution and maintains temperature very well, no cold or hot spots.  Easy cleanup straight to the dishwasher, perfect. Cooked a pernil in it, came out great. Although I use them everyday, they look as beautiful as they did new.

Quisinart Chef's Classic 7-inch Skillet
5
The fry pan is fine.  However it was purchased because it was claimed to be 7 inches.   I was looking for one smaller than 8 inches.  When I measured the one purchased it measured 7.  . After much research, I bought this set as a Christmas gift to myself, and I could not be happier.

Works great for me!
1
Anyway, I have not had any timing issues and I use it so much more than I expected, almost every day for one thing or another.  Can not really beat a well made, useful kitchen pot for $15.  While I can see how this might have balance problems on ovens with large burners, I have had no issues with balance or tipping over.  I guess my burners are normal sized? Helps if you position the handle in line with the metal on the burners rather than between them if that makes sense.   I purchase the 12  everyday pan at the same time as this one and I am so impressed with both of them!I would highly recommend this cookware to anyone who spends as much time in the kitchen as I do.  I was afraid after reading the reviews that it would be bad but goes to show that everyone has different experiences.  It is physics, really.

I am extremely happy with this purchase
5
I can not blame them for me burning something with them.  I wanted to leave a review because I had not seen one that had the exact information I was looking for before hand.  The very bottom of my microwave sits exactly 13 1/2 inches above my flat top stove.  This stock pot completely assembled with pasta insert, steamer and lid clears my microwave by a quarter of an inch.  I am extremely happy with this purchase.  The look, quality and value of this stock pot is exceptional!.

Good pasta pot good value
5
If you actually look at those markings, you will not overfill it and it will not boil over. I needed a large pasta pot for cooking pasta and blanching vegetables. Cooks food evenly and cleans up easily.  I like the fact that the amounts of water that are put in are measured on the inside with laser etched markings.  This unit fit the bill perfectly and works just fine.

Love my chef set
5
So far I have used everything in the set but the steamer insert. Love my chef set, still learning to cook with stainless but I love the clean up. When the product first arrived at my house, I thought it was too big.   This is a nice set for the avid cooker.   The handles on the pots stay cool but the ones on the lids seem to get alittle hotter.   It is easy to burn things with stainless but I am learning that lower heat and seasoning the pots and pans before each use has really made a difference.

Only downside is the handles for the pans & lids get too hot to touch while cooking.  But that is what hot pads are for!.  Completely happy with this purchase. Heats fast and maintains heat. Love these pans.

I am a fan, and I prefer this over the more taller pasta pots, as this is multipurpose. The exterior of this pan is more durable than the anodized aluminum pans.

After a month of frequent use I am happy to say it is pretty much perfect
5
It work awesome with easy clean up. I purchased the 8 Qt.  After a month of frequent use I am happy to say it is pretty much perfect.   It heats evenly, the build feels solid, it is easy to clean, the lid fits perfectly, and it feels stout enough that I expect it will last a very long time.   If any of that changes I will be sure to come back here and adjust my review but for now I am 100% satisfied with this pot.   When the time comes for me to pick up a 12 or 16 Qt.  pot for actual stock making you can be certain that I will be picking up one of these in the larger size.

Must have versatile pan
5
I like it so much I asked my daughter to get me one for Christmas.   We both love the pan.   It has so many uses.  This is the perfect housewarming and wedding gift.   You can also steam veggies and potatoes in the strainer portion of the pan.   The pan is easy to clean, maintain, and store.  It is great quality, level for even cooking, and does not tarnish or discolor on the bottom. Would recommend to friends and family.   You can cook any kind of pasta in it, also use it for stews, chili, goulash, one-pot meals, etc.   It is a must have in a kitchen.

Also getting all my meat balls done at once. I just received the second 7-inch pan that I have owned.  The first lasted through 7 years of near continuous use  and yes, some misuse. .  .  I love the weight and shape of this little pan.  It rests solidly on my glass cook top and I really like the angle of the sides - not too steep.  Of course I have reread the directions for use and expect this new pan will last more than 7 years..

5
Nothing wrong with the first one, I just should have hid it better from my children who cannot seem to get it through their heads, NO METAL UTENSILS! I really like this pan, as it cooks evenly and is easy to clean.  My second pan has not been introduced to my children and is in great shape. This is the 2nd pan I bought.  . I needed a new pan to fry my tortillas in for tacos and this pan has been perfect for that!  I have not used it for anything else yet but I love it so far and would recommend it!.

A Great Pan At A Great Price
5
This one is hefty and very high quality. I nearly ruined my very expensive stainless steel fry pan by heating oil in it to soften corn tortillas; there was brown gunk sealed to it, and we thought we'd never get it clean.   If you are debating whether price = quality, I am here to tell you that sometimes the two are directly related!.   So, I bought this fry pan because it was so inexpensive; if it was ruined quickly by oil, who cares?  Well. It is great for eggs, or for browning anything.

Amazing Heat Distribution
5
I LOVE my Tri-Ply Stainless set!  I have used Teflon pans my whole life, and I will NEVER go back.   The heat distribution on these is amazing.   You can instantly tell while cooking with these that they are Professional Series cookware. I also LOVE the 6-quart stock pot for soups.   I just really wish they had a matching 8/10-quart Stainless Tri-Ply stock pot that I could buy to complete the set.   It cleans well and the stainless interior cooking surface appears to resist scratching easily.

I am done with Teflon and similar types of cookware coating so we have made the move to ceramic coating or stainless steel.  I can cook much more food at one time with the capacity of this wok.  The wok features a flat bottom, so there is no need for a stabilizing ring.  It does everything a wok should do.  With it being stainless, there is no need to worry about a  coating  coming off the bottom of the pan.  The glass lid makes it great to be able to see your food cooking.  It is large enough to hold a bamboo steaming basket, as well.  I love that fact that it has a long handle on one side and a gripping handle on the other making the wok much easier to move  especially when it is full of food . If there is a draw-back, it would be that it is a bit heavy.  But that can be a good point, too.

It was good enough that i purchased  few other pans from the same product line. They cook extremely well, and clean up very easily.   If I had known clean up was this easy, I would have transitioned a long time ago!  They do seem to spot easily after cleaning with Dawn, so I am going to pick up some of the Bar Keeper's Friend cleaner.   I took the plunge and bought this set just before Thanksgiving after reading the reviews, and absolutely LOVE it!.   I hand wash all cookware anyway, so using a different cleaner is not an issue. I have been wanting to transition off of Teflon pans for some time.   Absolutely worth every penny!.   The sizes in this set are the smaller pans, but I knew that before buying.   but the handles are near the top of the pan, so it does not affect my cooking much.

Cuisinart719-18P chef's classic stainless 2 -qt saucepan with cover
5
A great feature for smooth top stoves. I love this saucepan !.  The bottom measures 5- 3/4" which fits the burner exactly   on my GE stove  and it is 4-1/4" high. It is easy to clean and heats up fast   on my stove  .  Rice does stick but soaking for 20 min loosens everything without the need to scrub .  I have not tried long grain. Now, the lid is my favorite .  the edges are great  as they keep the drips off the sides. I just love the way it pours, no fuss, no mess .  Great design.   Have to look for a bigger size with that kind of lid.  Just love that lid !! I hope there is one. Because of many reviews regarding the lid exploding, I have not used the lid that came with the pan.

This is a great pan!!!
5
The pan is easy to cook with and is extremely easy to clean.   Just add a little warm water and place the pan on the cooktop.   Any food that is stuck to the pan can be easily removed. This pan is great for preparing just about any type of food.   If there is any discoloration, a little Barkeeper's Friend with a small amount of elbow grease will shine the pan up to an almost new look.   I keep the pan on my stovetop, ready to use any time.   It makes a great wok and is large enough to cook even the largest size dishes.   Other than that, it really is a fantastic pan for overall food preperation.  I have an electric cooktop and I keep the heat on medium to low when cooking with no issue.

Everything about the pan is first class and works great except for the lid handle. Pan is super easy to clean.  When using the lid you must use a hand towel or hotpad as the lid handle gets too hot to use without protection. I will not let anybody in my house to use it.

Cooking is a bit different with these pots and electric stove.
5
But everything is different for the better. Use one or another pan from this set every day.  My expensive SS Emeril set is not to be used for such abuse for sure.  The pans stain easily at the bottom but a soaking with water and a little white vinegar for a while and they look new again. I had to adjust cooking times as between the electric stove and the pans everything is different from cooking with gas and my old cheap pots.  They are easy to clean if you follow the instructions that comes with it.

Both of us have used it since Christmas and it was definitely a good choice.   Fits nicely, looks wise, with the rest of our pots and pans.   She said that it was exactly what she needed.   Nicely filled the size gap between what we had and a dutch oven. Handle stays cool.  Others have commented about it tipping.  No issues here. on my stove it is fine, results would depend on your stove I suppose, but it is a small pan. . It is nice when something cheap is actually NOT a piece of junk.   It cleans like a "dream come true", and it is not flimsy.

fantastic cookware
5
I am really not much of a cook but I wanted some quality cookware and this stuff is definitely it.   I had originally purchased a Cusinart stock pot and I was so impressed that I bought this set.   I dont remember paying more than $100 for it though  but that was back in 2007 .   It is a myth.   I cook beef in these things all the time with just a little oil. I have owned this cookware for several years now.  I sometimes cook beef or a pork roast in the stock pot with the lid off. It works fine.  Cleanup is amazingly easy with hot water and a little Dawn -- let that soak and then wipe it out and put in the dishwasher. I am very glad I bought this set.   The non-stick is really super non-stick.

Might be the only pan you ever need.
5
It pours drip free and cleans up nicely. This is a well-made pan.  if you keep a good pan like this clean with a stainless cleaner, glasstop cleaner or even oven cleaner if needed, you will not need that non-stick coating that fails 100% of the time.  I had prefer a glass lid, but oh well.  The lid is domed so any steam that rises while cooking drains back into the pan instead of seeping out of the edge.  Buy cookware that will last for decades -- this is one of those.   I am no chef and tend to cook everything on High.

They are very utilitarian and long-lasting. We now own two of these pans. We use them daily.

Very nice pan
5
It has a nice, thick stainless clad aluminum bottom  which did pop and ping a bit when I first used it, but considering the type of construction, I can see why it did it  and the walls are plenty thick.  At 14 inches, it may be a little bigger than you think it will be, but I have a new stove with a large 17,000 btu burner and this pan is perfect for searing multiple cuts of meat. I do not know what it is priced at while you are looking at it right now, but I paid a little over twenty eight dollars for it and at that price, it is *amazing*.  And it is perfect for what I need. I am known for being frugal.  I would actually consider paying twice what I did for this pan.  I like it that much. Absolutely gorgeous set! I researched so many different sets and finally gave this one a try.

Nice and solid
5
The base gives a nice evenly distributed heat with no hot spots. We use this for our browning pan r when the heat we wish to use would too hide for our non-sticks.  Both the long handle and the helper handle are riveted in place with real industrial size rivets that are not going to let loose under any abuse you could reasonably put this pan through, and despite the handle being unsheathed metal it the long handle does not become overly hot when using it on the stove top.  Just about everything you could ask for.  I have resorted to using it outside on the grill where it works fine.

I suspect I will have this pot for a very long time, which is what I want out of kitchen equipment.  I have not been cooking long, so I am not a pro by any means, but it seems to distribute heat well and I have not managed to scorch it or anything.  The handles are sturdy and pretty comfortable to lift, even when the pot is full and heavy. .  The lid seals well but never gets stuck.  Of course they do get hot  I use a gas stove  but I have silicone grippers for that.

Perfect shape for a 1.5Qt pan!
5
Highly recommend. If I admitted how long I shopped this pan, I would be laughed off of .  To be fair, initially I was looking at All Clad and they are a lot more expensive. 5Qt  pot for poaching eggs and making small batches of miso and ramen.  $20 seemed too good to be true and it is. .  I picked this one because it was not as wide and shallow as other 1. 5 quart pots were.  I love the shape.  It is perfect.  Well crafted.  I LOVE THIS PAN! No wobbling or tipping on the stove.

It is magnetic
5
I purchased the 8 Qt. I have only just received this pan, so I am only able to address its magnetic quality so far - I wanted it particularly to be able to use it with an induction burner.   I saw several conflicting comments earlier.   This pan came wrapped in cardboard, and a magnet even stuck to it firmly through the cardboard, so I expect it will be fine, as promised, on an induction burner.

The skillet heats uniformly resulting in great heat distribution.  It is relatively easy to clean -like all stainless steel pans - as long as you clean it right away and take the time to prep it correctly.  It has a nice “fee” as well.   It is overall quality is as good as a top brand  equivalent.

I sent this to my mother.   Ever since she has received it she calls me saying how much she loves this pan and how often she uses it.   I have been slowly sending her stainless steel cookware and utensils.   She says that the teflon does not stay stuck in the pans like they used too.   The handles on this pan are very sturdy and you do not have to worry about them wearing out or breaking. I sent this pan to my mother even though she wanted a different one.   She loves it.   This pan was perfect.   She is very happy with her stainless steel cookware.

Worth the money if you know what your doing with them!!!

They have a good weight, non stick and easy to clean. My wife loves this set, worth every penny.  Just have to get to know them, not place blame cause you can not cook.  I can not blame them for me burning something with them.  They hold there heat well.  There nonstick if you know what your doing with them.  We are learning them well now.  If your cooking temp is right you will understand what I mean!!.

Priorities met.

Big enough to handle a variety of meats  ie   Large Turkey<or> two fryer chickens <or> Picnic Ham <or> Large Roast <or> Full rack BBQ Ribs. This Roaster has the qualities and features that fulfill my desires and needs:Easy to clean Stainless steel roaster and rack.  Trusted brand name and very affordable. ; Well designed and mounted handles; No coating process that otherwise could peal off, rust or merge with the meal.   I like the second handle for example when making pancakes to swish the batter around.

Exactly what I wanted!

I have been using them for almost 6 months now and I love them! They are extremely durable, great to cook with, and very easy to clean! The lids are also nice as well!. I searched for a stainless steel set like this for a while before finally deciding on this one.   I love thiscookware.

I am so Happy with this!

And it looks good doing it. Because of the grand scale of the thing, I am not entirely sure it would be the right choice for some ranges.  It is huge! My mother's stove would not heat it effectively.  Not even a little.  It is perfect on mine.  Nothing sticks.  It does not fit into my sink and would take up a whole rack in my dishwasher.  I hand wash it on top of my sink. This one is awesome! I can fry three eggs, four sausage links, and a mess of sauerkraut, all at the same time. Very good pots.

Good alternative to All Clad.

It is only a few months so will update if anything changes. I read all the reviews and took a chance buying these for our second home. After my husband burnt my other two frying pans I figured I had just buy 2 cheap ones.  I have not had any issues cleaning: little soapy scrub, then a quick polish with Bar Keepers Friend and they look brand new.  Definitely worth it for the price.  While they are not quite as heavy/sturdy as my All Clad gear, they still cook wonderfully.

Great skillet for the price.   Good quality, beautiful mirror finish stainless with heavily clad bottom.   I bought it because I needed a large, straight sided, ovenproof pan.   Used it several times and am very satisfied. get them on sale they are life time pans.

Excellent replacement for ‘non-stick' cookware
5
We cook every day & have been using the ‘non-stick' cookware which always ends up badly scratched/deteriorated. & they can go in the dishwasher! Perfect!.  Decided to go just stainless steel & I LOVE these pots: 1st: not too many, just a few & in most useful sizes; 2nd: must follow directions regarding level of heat you use as the heat conduction is amazing  truly, never use high heat except bringing water to boil ; 3rd: they have never been a problem to clean.  I love this shiny skillet.

Mirror shine wipes clean!

I was having a difficult time finding a good roasting pan without the non-stick coating and a pan deep enough for lasagna at regular retail stores.  Looked up lasagna pans and came across this, and watched a video on it.  I honestly did not expect too much.  Figured it would be a standard pan, but I have to say that I am really impressed with it.  Made a huge lasagna and it came completely clean after. Works great.

LOVE these pans!!!
5
This set comes with so much that I had to rearrange my cupboards to accommodate all of the pans and lids!!!. Great pans, nice and heavy.  No issues with build quality.  The handles are sturdy and pretty comfortable to lift, even when the pot is full and heavy.  As they are stainless, I love that I can use any type of scrubber to clean them.

Just want I expected  in stainless steel pans.  I am  very happy. Works nicely on induction burner, but I was surprised to see the care instructions said no lemon scented dishwasher detergent, unlike any other stainless steel I have owned.

We are officially a non-teflon household!! We have all-clad pots for everything else but very happy with this purchase. I needed a new pan to fry my tortillas in for tacos and this pan has been perfect for that!  I have not used it for anything else yet but I love it so far and would recommend it!.

Awesome pan for bacon!!
5
The 2qt SS pan with the glass lid is very well built and will last a very long time.  We bought this in 2013 and it is still going strong.  This pan helped me to wean off of the terrible teflon non-stick pans and now I can cook anything on stainless steel.  We are officially a non-teflon household!! We have all-clad pots for everything else but very happy with this purchase.  Have not had any issues with the integrity of the pan like some of the other reviews.

Great little pot for cooking cereal for ONE, and also great for other foods for ONE. I cherish it!
5
I like that it is an excellent cooking pot for small portions of food, specially breakfast cereals, and small amounts of vegetables.   It cleans like a "dream come true", and it is not flimsy.   That is, it is a strong, firm pot with a perfectly fitting lid.   When I hold it I know I have a solid pot in my hand;  and I love how it keeps it is shine after washing, even after the dishwasher routine!.  Will be making special occasion meals with this for a long time to come.

For the price, this cookware is amazing and unbeatable!

g.   I passed it on to another family member so that I could get a nice, new shiny one. I purchased my set back in 2010,  and still use this exact pot at least a couple of times a week. As long as you do not let anybody use metal in these pans, they will last you a good long time. I recently purchased this pot as a housewarming gift for my daughter.

Excellent skillet for a single cook
5
Makes good contact with glass stovetop and heats strong and even.  As others have noted, I find myself cooking at lower temps due to the fine transfer of heat from the stove.  Easy to clean although not as easy as teflon, but a short soak in hot water and a plastic scrubber cleans it right up. . Great skillet for a single-serving cook.  I expect this skillet will outlive me.  Large enough for a big steak or 2-3 burgers.  Cast iron used to be my go-to for indoor steaks but this skillet is so nice and easy I find myself using it instead with equally good results. .  Unfortunately, I only used it once, the instruction said no metal pads but the saints are still there.

Spray with oven cleaner and wash after 5-10 minutes. Perfect for large lasagna or roasts. I searched for a stainless steel set like this for a while before finally deciding on this one.   There is a shortcut to cleaning if you get grease cooked on.

Pantastic Addition to My Kitchen
5
This is a great value, and I highly recommend it. This pan is enormous! When I ordered it, I did not realize just how big it actually was.  There is a lot of real estate, which is fantastic for cooks who like to make large one-pan meals or cook many meats at one time.  I was able to comfortably sear 6 filet mignons  !  simultaneously last week in this pan. Bought this as a gift so far no complaints.  It feels heavy and looks like it should cost a lot more than it actually does.  The pan heats up quickly and evenly, and it has yet to show any discoloration or wear.

Great starter set, cooks and cleans up well!
5
I have had and loved my set for years, so purchased for her. Bought for daughter at college.  They clean up well, and can look marvelous if you take the time to really scrub the outside every few months with Bar Keepers Friend and a scrubby.  Calphalon pot a half hour to come to the boil!  But this pot is not as heavy, so it does not take as long.

Great little pan
5
Bought my cookware 7 years ago & still looks brand new. This pan is stainless with an aluminum core - great for searing and sautéing, because those techniques require a lot of heat.  The handle is comfortable and, its shape lends to easy tossing.  So far, non-stick coating is holding-up and it is easy to clean.

Good Quality Product
5
We have used it for all kinds of things since. I bought this to make a 16LBS  Rib roast, the roast was cooked to perfection.  Sometimes the handles get in the way, other than that it is a good product. It is a great pan that I use extensively, but I have to say.

I was so tired of my tomatoes and salsas burning.  Bought this pot just for the heavier bottom. I use this item for canning.  Also getting all my meat balls done at once.

Excellent performance and value
2
It is a beautiful, well-finished and heavy pan. I have had one of these before, and used it to death.   Just the right sized handle.   This is truly a kitchen workhorse.   This type of construction does not seem to affects its performance though.   I use it more than any other pan.   As other reviewers have commented, the fact that the heavy disc is attached to the bottom of the pan, and not sandwiched, is one reason why the price is lower than expected.   Well, I use my 2-quart saucepan all the time too.   I cook a lot, and LOVE this saute pan, especially for the price. This roasting pan is made of sturdy stainless steel and the roasting rack is also solidly built.

Big enough to cook a turkey - Solid build and heats evenly... Serves double duty as a gong
3
I got this $100+ pan as it was on sale for less than $30 - When the package arrived in a box big enough to fit a baby carrage, I had no idea what was inside.  Opened it up to find this pan and its MUCH larger and heavier than I expected!Convenient for frying up large portions and the thick aluminum core base heats everything up very evenly.  The quality is almost as good as an All-Clad with just slightly thinner walls but feels totally solid/heavy and definitely built to last. I can fit it over and use 2 burners on my small NYC apt stove to heat it up twice as fast though lol!I have it hanging on the wall next to my stove and it looks like a silver gong lol!.  Easy cleanup straight to the dishwasher, perfect.

Just the best! do not know how I managed without it!

Nice quality. This is amazingly versatile, Great for almost everything.  Nice  sturdy handles make it easy to lift and  carry.  The pan  heats quickly and evenly, I do use hot pads but the hands stay relatively cool for quite a while.  the useful domed lid  equals a self basting feature and give the pan more room for roast than I expected.   It  also  makes a great serving piece really beautiful and elegant on the table.  Its sturdy enough to use outdoors or take to potlucks etc.   Definitely an all purpose pan for  the stove top, in the oven, in the fridge or freezer and  on the table.

Great Cookware
5
All the pieces meet my needs and exceed expectations.  The product was smaller than expected as per the description.  Those who say that everything burns on easy are cooking at a heat that is too high.  So far, I have found that everything is easy to clean. I will admit that I have never really owned nice cookware before, so this set was definitely an upgrade and first for me.

Bang for the Buck
5
Heats evenly, very sturdy and appears to be as well made as my All Clad 5 quart one. At this price point this pot would be hard to beat.  I do not think you can go wrong with this.   The heat distribution is great because you do not have to use a high heat.

this is my favorite pot!
5
For other types of cooking  sauteing vegetables, sauces, etc  medium heat is enough.   The base has a center layer of aluminum and heat is distributed quickly and evenly so the medium heat setting works for most of my cooking. This 5 1/2 quart size is perfect!  I find myself reaching for it for almost every meal, from sauteing spinach to boiling potatoes.   Water boils so much faster in this pot than in my expensive professional chef 3 1/2 quart pots.  It rests solidly on my glass cook top and I really like the angle of the sides - not too steep. For many years I have used the large 10 - 12 quart pots for cooking pasta for my large family. One word of caution - use high heat ONLY to boil water.

Great Little Pot
5
The worst set I have ever owned! They might be fine for an electric stove but they are the worst on Gas stoves. This is a great little pot.  Heavier than we expected, especially for the price.  We ordered another one today so we can make gravy in one and Au ju in the other.  Highly recommend!  You will not be disappointed!!.

The Kitchen Workhorse
5
Cooks evenly & cleans up easily, even in dishwasher. This is our second one after losing our first to a neighbor.  We call it  the beat'em-up pot ; perfect for cooking and mashing potatoes in.  My expensive SS Emeril set is not to be used for such abuse for sure.  The quality is great, thick bottom, thinner sides, solid handles, nice glass lid.  It is our kitchen workhorse, soups, stocks, pastas and sauces, without burning, as most stainless pots and pans should use lower temperatures.

This steamer with cover was the best thing I bought last year.  I use almost daily.  It fits any of several of my pots/pans.   The only way it could possibly be better is if you could see through the lid.   But nice amount of thickness to it on the bottom, cleans up well, good value for the money.

Amazing thing!
5
Decided to switch to SS after hearing scary stories of non-stick cookware being capable of causing cancer.  It has even managed to make 6-7 servings, although it was full to the brim. The bottom is not as heavy as some of the more expensive ones, but it cooks evenly and does not burn food.  I keep it on medium heat, spray oil using Misto so that I can use the minimum amount required to prevent food from sticking.  It has sauted onions, veggies, cooked, boiled everything without any ugly remnants.  Anything that might stick gets taken out after I soak it for half an hour with dish soap and warm water. I am a fan, and I prefer this over the more taller pasta pots, as this is multipurpose. 5Qt  pot for poaching eggs and making small batches of miso and ramen.
