Worth it, if you are likely to need a jump or have limited space to store emergency equipment in your vehicle. I was not sure about this thing because it was kind of small, but I brought it to my neighbors house and jump started a V8 monte carlo, a wood chipper, and a tractor from 1948 with it before it finally lost it is charge.

Product itself is great!, but  delivery dates can vary by as much as a week from time they state when you place order, so if you need it fast just go to store and buy it there. This jump starter is convenient, space saver and amazing in all aspects.  It literally a life saver!!!.

It is super light, like the weight of a laptop.  And a powerful flashlight. My girlfriend is using mine at the moment for her Lincon MKZ.  Her car will NOT start if left for over 3 hours at a time  needs a new battery, but we are gonna sell the car to Pick Your Part in a couple weeks and get her a new car instead.  This thing is a life saver! Either in an emergency situation, or in a situation like ours. . . No need to buy a new battery for a junk car! Bought it because the auxiliary battery on my 2004 Prius is going out so it dies a lot and I have not been able to find a new one for it yet. I charged it overnight when I received it.  I used it the next day on my SUV and within a few moments it was running.  Easy to use with great safety features.

I use this almost daily at our marina! Will crank almost anything as long as the battery is not totally dead!. I will never take a road trip without it!. I bought it three and half years ago and only used it twice.   but I suddenly needed it for two different vehicles on separate occasions during crazy cold winter weather!  It worked exceptionally well!  While I thought my batteries were good and my vehicles reliable, this saved the day when they failed me.   Definitely recommend adding this to your vehicles emergency kit!  It is compact, powerful, easy to use and holds a charge well for multiple uses. Wow!  I got this as a “good to have, just in case” for road trips, camping etc.

Even if you get the cables reversed on your battery, there is warning and the process will not be able to proceed.  I was able to start three engines before having to charge the unit again. This power pack is easy to use, just charge it and it is ready to go! The cable connections to the unit can not be reversed as the connector is shaped specifically for the port. My only complaint is that a hard case is not included only a bag.  This is not enough for me to lower my rating however.   I have given several as gifts.

My vehicle was in a drive way and was not at all easy to get to with another vehicle to jump start.  Made it easy and done after a minute.  Must have for all vehicles, also charge your phones etc.

Forklift fired right up. Works pretty good, sent it to mexico for my dad, say he's used it a few times now and has worked one some really dead batteries.

When i approached my car with this jumper the car had been sitting for about 2 weeks the battery is so dead the car doesnt think it has a battery neither does this starter so i activated the restriction remover an let the plugs sit charging for about 5 minutes cause the 1st 3 attempts of 1 minute intervals failed to get good reactions or nearly even a tick out of the starter  given it was a dead battery an it wasnt recognised by the jumper on those 1st 3 attempts .  But yes after those 5 minutes of charging the lights cycling i started the car with the nice tatata vrrumm sound we all hope to hear with the key turn. Current feeling after this 100$ purchase is good an hopeful that this will do all my jump starting needs for many years to come. I will update this reveiw if this product gives me a reason to do so, good or bad. Reliable even after not being used for months, purchases 2nd one for other car.

Would recommend. I have had a problem with my car lately where the battery has been dead a couple days after non use.  Battery and alternator was replaced, but it still does it.  As a note, it seemed to only charge my phone once before this device needs charged again, but still, I did not buy it for a phone charger.  I can say this thing is amazing.  It jumps it so quickly that there has literally been no wait after plugging it in, it starts right up, even if it is completely dead. Just got this in yesterday and I needed to use it to jump a vehicle that has been sitting for 6 months and the battery was COMPLETELY dead.  I bought this after being late to work trying to find a jump.

If you live alone or dont want to worry about asking for a jump, buy this!!! If you want a back up power for a long distance drive then this is small and will be wonderful for your cell phones, IPads, Kindle, or anything that uses a USB to charge or if you need to jump start your battery! I am buying 2 more for my teenage grandaughters because I dont want them to have to ask a stranger for a jump!. I bought this around Dec 2018 and did not have the need to use it until 2 weeks ago. No Picture due to it being freezing cold out.  It is was showing 50% at that point.  At first I had some difficulty getting it to work but it was 3 degrees outside and I was upset so I am blaming the user and not the product.

I take this to work every day and I will take it on trips from now on. Well, I am totally surprised and confused by all the very negative reviews about this Noco G40 battery starter!!  I have mine for two years now, and it initially charged up perfectly, feels solid, looked solid and keeps it is charge in my car trunk for a year so far! I had to use only twice in two years so far, and it started a  completely dead battery  click, click, click  you are familiar with that sound!!AND IT STARTED MINE AND AND A STRANDED FAMILY'S CAR "LIKE INSTANTLY!" It saved my **s once, and that family with grandmother and infant baby in the car sitting there with all their doors and windows open on a super hot summer day in a shopping mall parking lot was extremely grateful, that I save the day!!!!I hope it continues to perform brilliantly in the future years to come and does not ever disappoint as some of these negative reviews suggest!!.

Very portable I keep it under the front seat it would even fit in the glove box if you wanted to do that I have had to use it and work good. I charged it up fully when I received it, then jumped started my car twice, and it still has the full charge.   Has light, and can be charged using USB.   Needs an adapter if one wants to charge from an electrical outlet.   Will see how long this last.   One can also use this to charge up your phones, etc. , but have not used it for this purpose.

Took a well drained battery from not being able to use the keyless entry to able to turn over in under a minute.  Charged it to full over night the day I got it, able to drive my car that morning.  Barely used any of the charge.  Perfect for situations like mine where the battery died in a busy complex where getting another vehicle close enough to jump the stalled car was not happening. Very fool proof.  From being able to set up with the power off, to reverse polarity detection, even a jump start newbie can safely figure this out.  Good thing I brought both.

Maybe 5-7 minutes have passed, tried again, car finally crank and start. The instruction booklet is about 3 small pages, read it.   I will have to test if this device works in the winter.   I tried without override, car did not even make a sound.   I left the device attached for about 3 minutes then try to override, I can hear beginning of a "crank" sound. Best thing we have gotten to take with us in the boat Incase we need to and to throw in the vehicles for long travels.   If your car was not used for over 6 month and battery was completely died you will need to be patient.

Does everything it should flawlessly bought 3. So easy to use, have one in all vehicles as well as at the office in case patients need to use it.

I also like the safety features it has. I liked the small size and the abaility to jump start most cars.  I used it for the first with a 2011 jeep grand Cherokee with a completely dead battery and only took less than a minute to charge it.

The lights on the side are amazingly bright! While directional wise it is not the best, it lights up an entire room wonderfully. An amazing product! This thing has jumped my car multiple times on a single charge when my battery was in a desperate need of replacement.  It even holds its charge for a long time, I jumped a strangers car after not using nor charging it for 8 months, and it worked perfectly.  I had a black out that lasted a couple days and I used it to keep my phone charge and as a substitute light at night. The safety features make it so that even people who have no knowledge can jump start a car safely, it ensures that even if the clamps on are the wrong sides nothing will happen. I got this charged it up and jumped my chevy silverado with it fired right upSo far so good.  I have not used the override feature to forcibly start a dead battery, but the option to  do so is perfect  It voids its warranty, so do so as a last resort.

The battery in my car was not holding a charge  and it was less than 2 years old . Even though i have to charge it after every start up i think its worth it. I have not had a need to use it for myself, but my neighbor's Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk needed a boost and after being hooked up to my car for over 20 minutes  albeit with flimsy cables  as he tried to get his car to over 11 volts, he turned the key and nothing.  I have started several dead cars with this. This is a well built product.

I love this thing!!. Saved my b**t more than once! Very easy to use.  Just put the clamps on the battery, press the button, turn the key & your car starts up immediately.  I hooked it up to the car battery and it spun that big V8 over like a new battery! I also have the Genius10 charger and my satisfaction with that was one reason i bought this GB40.  Even with a totally dead battery.

Down side to it that it doesnt come including a cable to charge it  micro usb charger head like most android phones have and wall plug end either  and instructions where some what miss leading to what i have seen and heard of this jump box able to only start up to v-6 motors but i have seen it work on v-8 gas and diesel powered motors.  Mostly happen with this product and have it ready to be used whenever one of my car dies for no reason.  Comes with a nice fabric pouch to keep it in, of course comes with the plug in jumper cables and car plug charger with usb port end to charge the jump box inside the car. Charges from dead to full battery life in around 3 hours or so.

Can not believe I did not have this essential item until now. Really cool product, was looking for a traditional plug in digital tester/charger, but happy to have this tool instead.  I probably will get a digital tester/charger to help maintain/charge and test car batteries, but if you are in a bind and do not have access to plug in boost charger or another car with jumper cables, this thing is the answer for sure.   Used it on a 2002 Chevy Silverado  5. 7 liter  with a dying battery that would not turn over. but after attaching the Noco,  plugging in the positive and neg clamps to the battery  turning the device on, and waiting maybe 30 seconds, the truck turned over quick during ignition. . . wow, really impressed, this is a very handy tool if you are diving a car with a questionable/dying battery.   After using it, I merely plugged the Noco back up to the USB port I use to charge my IPAD, and the Noco was showing to be at a charge of above 75%. . . and was fully charged to 100% after about 15 mins.   Based on what I saw, I am estimating I could jump start my truck 4-6 times on a fully charged Noco..

Can not believe I did not have this essential item until now.  Worked immediately and perfectly.  This is a lifesaver and you will wish you had one soon if you do not have one now.  This is the future.  I got this on sale for only like $82 which is like what it costs to fill up a tank of gas, thanks Biden.  10/10.  This is a must have for anybody to have in the car in the event of an emergency.

Feels like it has a new battery when I hook it up. This thing was perfect when I needed it.  This thing kept me going and made several jumps for a week until I was able to replace the battery.  I highly recommend it.

Very safe.   It instantly starts a dead battery.   So yes, even though it is very small, it works great on a full-size car recharge.   Compared to chargers I grew up with, this is an amazing device. works great used it whole camping last weekend Brother and law battery went dead on there pop up truck camper so we hooked up the noco gb40.  it ran the motors to take the top all the way up.  saved the day!. I ordered this because every time I went to my car it was dead.

My truck  2012 tacoma v6  has been stuck in a garage for nearly 6 months after all the covid lockdowns.  I checked on it to find a dead battery. I bought this, charged it up and took it down to the truck.  Fired right up, first try.  Drove it around to fill the tank up with gas and charge the battery a bit.  Had to use this 2 more times  after gas, etc  to get her going again, and it worked flawlessly every time.  Truck starts right up. This has found a permanent home in my truck with a full charge. Works every time on my neighbor's cars.

She gave me a crazy look and I just said open it.  She did and said what is this? I said this is going to start your car.  I bought it for my girlfriend.  And Merry Christmas.  The piece of mind alone this gave me makes it is worth while.  I bought this a Xmas gift.  She said there is no way this is going to start my car.  It was about -5 with the wind chill.  So I put it on the posts waited a minute and told her to fire it up.  All it did was click.  Now when jumping a bmw you do not hook up to the battery.  To her amazement it started right up.  Good thing I brought both.  She thought it was the coolest thing.  So I gave the box to unwrap. I was not paid to use this and was not given it.  After getting the car home.  Unfortunately her car would not start a few weeks before, so I went to her work to start it.  The positive cable was really loose.   I brought cables and the Noco.  The way she parked cables would not of worked.   She loves it so much she took it in for show and tell at work the next day.  The battery is about 4 years old the car is a 2010 BMW 328xi.  I think you could for my car  do three or more starts, probably more, before you even had to think about recharging.  So no matter where she is she will always get home, and not have to rely on some creepy person to help her.

I had reccomend buyers do a dry run  it can sometimes be a problem just finding the battery terminals on a new vehicle  and take close note of how the unit is packaged so you can store it, and use it, as easily the next time. Having had a couple of this type of item I was delighted to have one so easy to charge up and figure out how to use it!  Excellent for those sub-zero blizzard days when any sort of complication is hard to tolerate.  This small portable battery pack packs a lot of punch for a device its size.

The only thing I wish were different is I wish it came in a hard case. I love this thing.  I had an issue with my motorcycle where I had to jumpstart it every time I rode.  I feel like I am going to accidentally turn it on in the cloth bag and drain it is battery.  It works great. It is really great. Worked as expected, strong enough to start a dead battery in 3 liter V6.  I used this jumpstart a ton.

This is something EVERY person should have. It works great .  I wish it took a USB-C or wall AC charger to charge the battery.

My car has always been solid because I take good care of it, but during quarantine, I have not been using it as much and the battery is old, so I was having issues with it not starting up due to a drained battery.  It is been a real life-saver to have this around for when my battery would die when I was out and about, especially a night.  I would not have to call someone or ask a stranger to jump my car, I just pull this out, open my hood, and I can get going in under 10 minutes.  You have to charge it up when you first get it, but it holds that charge for a while.  I charge it, jumped my car battery, did not drive my car for 3 weeks, and I was still able to jump my car with it, I did not have to recharge it beforehand.  And I have used it a few more times since then.  And it works! Rather than have to call a friend or relative or tow truck to help me jump start my car  I called Uber once and paid the guy to jump my car cuz I was so desperate! , all I had to do was hook up this machine and start my car.

This thing is tiny, but Li-Ion is fisty chemistry, and it will start a fill size sedan when it is 10 below  freedom units . if you need to make it a theme, get a little compressor also, then get a nice little bag for both. Easy to use. It jumped started a v8 like nothing, then a v4, and still has a lot of battery left. It is not big or not small have not need to used it will update.

The battery was dead for a week or so . Wow, surprise how well it works .  All I did was connect the norco battery jumper .  Then less then minute gave enough charge to battery of the 5. 3 L V8 engine and it started car. Note ; depending on the conditions of the battery, is going to determined on how long you have to leave on norco to give it some time to charge.  some cases if the battery is damage it most likely will not charge the battery to start the vehicle etc.  Started the car without hesitation.

But use this review as a barometer: as long as the battery can hold a charge, this device will work. The funniest thing happened.   I bought this device for my truck which died on me on morning.   I did not expect to use it, but it was a JIC.  It does come with some juice, but you should charge it before you use it.   I charged it the day I received it so it was fully charged already. I did end up having to use it for my pick up truck, but that was a no go.   My pick up truck battery was beyond dead.   When I took the truck in for a battery replacement the mechanic said it was not even holding a charge, so I do not hold that against this device.   I ended it up having to use it for my wife's hybrid a couple of days after receiving it and it worked perfectly.

Last month while jumps starting a car from my truck, I gave the young couple my trust/old jumper cables. Used this heavily for years and still going strong.  Use it often on high amp, high torque starters on performance vehicles.

It was still at 75% if I recall.  I gave one to my sister, who used it one morning to start her vehicle. Long story short, I had battery issues, bought one of these and used it 4 times to start my car before I got a chance to replace the battery.  They then bought their own.  They just work.  Why rely on jumper cables and someone else  who could cross polarity and damage something ? Get a GB40, charge it, toss it in the trunk, jump yourself. The only thing I would change is longer leads,but it works well.

Some mouth breather at work left the lights on and drained the battery on a forklift, and of course no one had jumper cables.  It even jump started the dead battery in my old truck that had gone far too long without use.  Luckily I have this in my vehicle at all times ready to save the day.

I waited another 15 minutes and it started on the first try. One of my kids accidentally unplugged my battery tender.  In all cases, it started them with ease on the first attempt. 7L V8 Dodge Magnum was completely dead.  The only thing I had change would be to make the cables just a little bit longer, but the product worked so well that I would not drop a full star. Did it start the first try? Nope.  2 of the 3 were women who immediately purchased it as well because they feel much safer being able to jump their cars quickly instead of asking a stranger for help or waiting for roadside assistance.  After that, the engine almost turned over. I have USB ports in my car so I leave it in my center console, plugged in.  It also did not help that the car had been sitting for almost 4 months at the time.  It is always fully charged and ready to go.  When I noticed this 3 months later, the battery in my 5.  Easy to use.  But I simply followed the directions and let it charge the battery for 15 to 20 minutes.

I consider this a no-brained. The battery went out on our Yukon and I called AAA to come out and check it.  Everyone should have one in the garage.  I was a little skeptical based on the size of this device  which is much smaller than the last portable jumper I bought years ago .  If you have a battery that is dead and not registering on device read the instructions carefully and you can bypass the safety features for boost mode.  The AAA tech showed up and tested and jumped the battery with this device, so I decided it was time to have a portable jumper battery in the garage.

I contacted them since it was missing the charging cable and they immediately told me they will send me another one.  I recommended this to my friends and family and they all planning buying one.  Omg it is amazing!! A roadside assistance person told me about this and he told me that it is a life saver.  They have great customer service too.   The size made it super easy to just hand over and he kept it on him.  I got this on a whim since I figured it is inexpensive compared to calling roadside.

But needed it soon.   The flash light also works well.   I was not sure when I would get to test it.  Easy to learn how to use  - and to use. I charged the battery after receiving it; got charged in 2-3 hours as it may have been partially charged already.

had this on sale for 63 bucks.  Working at a large car dealership as a tech, I got tired of lugging the large heavy jump pack around, so I took a chance on this.  These are priced around 123 bucks at local stores here in town.  I get average of 7-8 jumps off a charge.  I spread the word at our dealership and many people picked one up and love them.  I will be buying a second one for home.  I have not used in super cold weather yet and will update after a cold January in about a month.  Do not hesitate to purchase.  This thing is awesome! I jump everything from small 4cyl to large v8 trucks.  Makes me cautious of accidental activation and running down the charger.

Borrowed this and it started on the first try.   I immediately bought one of my own.   Amazing piece of mind to have this on hand.   No finding someone who has the time and the jumper cables or awkwardly trying to line the two cars up.   Just this little box , you and your running car.   Indicators on the front tell you if it is charged and it is also a handy flashlight.  Help start them every time.

Bought this as a gift.  My husband love all the features on this portable battery charger, down fall for the price at least it should of came with a box to store it.  Beware not to store in the car , over heat can cause damage. I bought 3 --me -wife -son.

Wow, this was a lifesaver.  This product arrived promptly, charged quickly, and worked like a charm.  It is small and easily fit in my glove compartment or console.  Charge lasted for multiple jumps.  Instructions were super clear and easy to follow.  When I finally went to get a new battery, 2 guys at the dealership told me it is one of the best on the market.  I have recommended it to all my friends and colleagues, and I am seriously considering making this my go to graduation/ wedding/ housewarming/ birthday gift for people bc everyone should have one.   I have used it about 5 times, and it has not failed me yet.

These are safer and more convenient than cables; every car should carry this in the trunk. Small, easy to take with you.

Also, my wife tends to park with her hood pointed into the garage, which makes a jumpstart that much less convenient. I bought this a few weeks ago as my 2005 car is showing its age.   That avoids the spark one often sees when connecting jumper cables.   This little gadget jumpstarted her car immediately!  And it is much less hassle than a regular jumpstart, as you do not need the second car nearby.   Awesome purchase.   Meanwhile, just today my wife's 2012 car turned over but would not quite start, as we have been driving so much less oven during the pandemic.   But I never had that problem again once I purchased this fabulous little device.

I turn my electrical system on wait 10 seconds than turn the engine on. .  started right up.  Drove the car for a half hr and checked my voltage. I had tried this on my mazda 02 626. . .  says my car battery is at 14. 5 volts enough to turn my radio on and headlights were dim but not enough energy to start the engine. 5ish volts now. . .  My car battery was at 12.  2 days later it still holds a charge !! Would recommend!!.  On that 3rd try it started right up.

Once you charge it fully it is ready and keeps a charge for a long time. This is great when you head to the boat for a ride and have a dead battery.

I have owned this for over a year.  This is the type of thing you want to own but never use.  That was true for me until on day the kids left a door open on our Toyota Highlander Hybrid. . and tried to read the manual.  Who wrote that? It makes so little sense that it took about 5 minutes to get things hooked up properly.  After figuring that out, the car was started in 20 seconds!Later that day I made my own reference card and laminated it. A few days later, my wife was home alone and needed to take the Honda Odyssy out.  It was dead.  So she grabbed the jump starter and my new reference card.  A minut later she had the car started and was on her way. I then charged the device, and found that it was still mostly charged, just needed a little top off!I can not believe how well this works.  Everyone should have one in their car. . Easy to use.

Best safety device I ever bought on .  I purchased this in Nov 2020.  Kept it in my Jeep without need for it until September 2021.  Bit by rattlesnake deep in backwoods in Tahoe NF.  My batt dead after acc turning on fogs while in shock.  This literally saved my life. It worked out if the box , started the dead battery on first try , I hope it lasts.

Charge stays for a very long time. I was not sure about this thing because it was kind of small, but I brought it to my neighbors house and jump started a V8 monte carlo, a wood chipper, and a tractor from 1948 with it before it finally lost it is charge .  Simply amazing and worth every penny to see the look on his face when his tractor started! Have you seen all the news about those hover boards catching fire? The number of other jump starters out there makes me wonder what the quality landscape of these product is like. Never going to be stuck again after I take a nap with the fan on  yeah it is a pretty lame way to kill a battery .  This one looks like it should survive the apocalypse - click buy already.  It is a dream to use it - so much power density, it blows my mind that this thing does what it does.  The silicone cables and jumper clip assembly is top notch.  Make that like a bunch of drops.  It is worth the premium.  LED location is perfect and could not have been executed better.  Of course time will tell if there are details in the engineering that the external look and feel of the unit have betrayed, but I feel confident that this is a quality product. Works perfectly and has save us on the road100% Recommended.  USB in and out charging is great, I charge it from a multi output USB charger in my car.  This thing oozes quality.

This weekend we were on a family boating trip and launched the boat in the water and it would not start.  Got our Noco out and it is did it is job again.  Happy kids! Sold on this product. Thank God I bought this charger.

It was delivered early, and it does what/how it works as described online.  I have tried on my car and it worked like a champ.   It is also very handy to carry it.   Strongly recommended!.  Yesterday,  May 2021  my battery died in a store parking lot and I remembered the charger.

have not had to use it yet, but it does have great reviews. Jumpstarted my John Deere LT160 tractor on first try.  Easy to use.  I now have it stored in my wife's car for added protection for her.

I was hesitant to try this one but it turned out to work just fine! I like how much easier it is to carry with me than the behometh I had previously.  The usb charge is nice but sometimes you do not have that option.  I could get an adapter for that purpose and it would fit in the carrying pouch with everything else. I had difficulty with several other smaller jumpers  the ones the size of a small book  supposedly being rated for my vehicle but not being able to do the job.  It would just be nice if it came with it. The unit charged up in about 2 1/2 hours and jump started my very dead 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier in a matter of seconds, when other attempts to jump start the car had failed.

So far works good and have no issues, popular product and easy to use. I live in the upper midwest and we are in the middle of a terrible cold snap, so just recently I had an opportunity to use this product.

I am dealing with a parasitic drain due to a wonky remote start. This thing has saved me more times than I can count.   This thing holds a charge, works every time, and has me back up and running with barely a blip. Highly highly recommend.   Takes surprises out of traveling.

Have not tried yet but looks good. I wanted one of these kits for ages just to have for when I got a newer car.  Well I got one and after some unforeseen events  cough rear ended cough  I found my car sitting til it got repaired.  Well the car and truck I tried failed to jump start it so i figured I just needed more time to charge the battery.  Figure I had try one of these guys out and since returns are free. . no sweat.   My battery is dead but it brought my car back and the alternator is saving me at the moment.  .  Worth the buy, especially for someone who hates to be stranded. -Car was so dead that there were not any lights nor sound. I think it can get around 2-4 Jumps per full charge, but I have not tested that fully. Worth the buy, trust I over research way too much and this actually worked..

Connected it and my car started right away.  Guess it works. Bought this as a “I should probably own one” and five days later my battery died in front of the grocery store.  Way, way easier, and better than jumping car to car.

So far works good and have no issues, popular product and easy to use. This product delivers!  I purposely drained my battery on my 2000 c5 5. 7 Liter corvette so I could test this unit out.  Left head light on all night, it was dead.   Connected unit, turned on waited 1 minute and it cranked right up, no hesitation!  I did not even have to use the Boost.   After using, it only depleted a fraction of charge.   I also bought the case and  noco wall plug.   Very impressed with this small compact unit.

This costs what one road side assistance call does to come jump the car.   I have used it twice so far on my SUV - already saved me money and the time waiting for them to get to me.   Well worth the money. It was simple to hook up and worked almost instantly.

This is a nice compact battery jumper. I kept getting stuck, dead battery.  Easy to jump with this jumper box! Works great! Very portable, not bulky like the old ones.

Hooked up cables, powered on and pushed the ignition and I was up and running.   Its super easy to use, feels super solid from the cell to the cables to the buttons.   As I got in the car, the engine did not even turn over.   Its worth the price. I had left a dome light on overnight after quickly looking for something in my car.   You never know when you will need one for yourself or for someone else.   I grabbed my recently purchased gb40 and I kid you not, it took me longer to get it out of the bag than for it to jump my car. Like the small size of the unit and the big power it has.

Small, easy to take with you. Very portable I keep it under the front seat it would even fit in the glove box if you wanted to do that I have had to use it and work good.

I bought this mostly for peace of mind, however, I have used it nearly a dozen times for both of our cars as well as neighbors cars as well as for my phone when the battery was almost dead. Small, compact, robust, powerful and well designed. This was recommended to me by a friend who knows cars.   This is better than carrying around jumper cables.   I tried to jump my car with traditional jumper cables with my other car and no deal.   The instructions are hard to read but he online instructions I found thru  were tremendous!  Great product.   Not sure how long the device stays charged but that would be my only concern.   Amazing!.

Totally satisfied and a great price to boot!. I love this charger! It is just the right size.  Stops the hassle of having another vehicle involved.   Had maybe 6 more goes in it.  I bought this, charged it up and voila! It is incredibly fast.  I was on my way in just minutes.  It was very easy to use. I bought this probably a month ago and used it the other day when my car would not start after work.  But, my hand did slip off the grip and when the clamp slammed closed, a piece of it broke off.  I was pretty disappointed that I had broken it so soon.  But it was user error.  I also used it to charge our mobile devices when we lost power for 2 days due to the hurricane.  Again, worked great. This small jumpstarter is perfect for small engines and I really enjoy the fact that I can use it to charge my iPhone or some other USB device if I need to. A+.  With this thing you can do it yourself, without having to bother anyone.

I have only used it once to jump start a 2009 BMW Z4.  The battery was not completely dead however it was too weak to turn over the engine.  I would definitely recommend getting one, extremely portable being so small unlike my last Diehard jump box. I like that is so small and can help you a lot.

I will be keeping this in my car at all times!. Just got this in yesterday and I needed to use it to jump a vehicle that has been sitting for 6 months and the battery was COMPLETELY dead. This is the best thing ever just look at the price.  Worked like a charm, and the car started right up! This is also so compact, super lightweight as well.  Followed the instructions, for a battery that is completely dead you will need to do the override button.

Somewhat slow to charge but it has always worked perfectly fine for me to date. I have had to use this jump start my car regularly for several months as I wait for a backordered BCM which causes my battery to die frequently. Portable easy to carry and compact.  I have not had any issues with this product and it has been a convenient and reliable lifesaver during my backorder wait.

It is perfect for anyone who does not want to be bothered with the messy-ness long cables or flagging someone down to help jump-start a stalled vehicle. Works for me! I had recommend to drivers who want/need the simple security of a jumpstarter. Just what I needed! It is light weight and easy to use! I have actually had to use it very soon after it arrived.   Whenever I want to work on them i needed to move them out of the garage to jump the battery with my car which is not recommended.

We got to use it before I could even write a review.  Works great.   We have already had to use it once because she did it again.  Left her lights on.  We came back out and the battery was dead. Great product. Worked as expected, strong enough to start a dead battery in 3 liter V6. Thankfully I have not had to use this myself, but I got a jumpoff at an Autozone where they used the same one.

Since the initial charge end of September I have used it 3times. Finally I used this battery.  My car did not start.  I sart the car using the battery.  Definetly 100% recomended.

I was really impressed . Friend suggested I get this brand.   Left my 2013 450h  hybrid  sitting too long and hooked this bad boy up after charging it in the house.   My 12v battery was completely dead, so I had to hit the juice button and my car came back to life  lights and mirrors , and then I started it up perfectly.

It was on the list of best jump starters on every single one.  I also loved that they ask the right questions so you know you are buying the correct product for your particular vehicle.  It takes a while to charge with my computer so I used a compatible wall charger and it finished charging in no time.  It looks big in the photo but it fits nicely into the glove box. I checked a lot of different sites before choosing this product.  I can recharge with a cigarette lighter adapter or use USB.  Please note that it does not stay charged forever so check every few months to make sure it it ready when you need it.   What a huge improvement over my old one that had to be plugged in to work.  I jump start my car with a complete dead battery in less than a minute.

There may be cheaper units on the market but this is worth the extra money spent. I bought my first unit a couple of years ago and purchased a 2nd one to go into my wife's car.  These are great to have! The one I have in my truck has saved me several times, not to mention the light is very bright on the unit. Perfect for jumping car battery and not needing another auto.  My only complaint is they do no provide the wall plug in for this unit  only vehicle charger , you have to purchase separately but they do sale them on  for around 6-7 dollars and it is worth that extra investment.  For me I want to ensure that if I breakdown / my battery is dead that me and my loved ones have the right tools to come home.  This unit is fail safe and extremely reliable.  We also used these when our power went out and needed to charge our cellphones.

Our 2007 Acura RDX keeps killing the battery and this charger  GB40  has worked great.   I feel it is paid for itself with how easy it is after a few boosts. This has been a huge help during quarantine since we rarely drive and have to remember to run the cars now and then.   A lot of complaints I see here seem to be people who have not read the instructions well enough.   This does not work like traditional jump starting where you are using the 2nd car's battery.   You need to let this little thing charge up your battery a bit before trying to crank it over or use the override if it is really dead.   Compared to regular jump starting this is so much easier and feels much safer.   Let us face it, most people  including myself  do not jump start like were supposed to and always wonder if we are going to blow up a battery.   None of that here.  Lol This thing works flawlessly.

This is an all around good buy. This was very easy to use.  Jumped a completely dead battery within moments of hook up.  I have a car that is sometimes parked for an extended period of time so sometimes it needs to be jumped. Defiantly worth the money! I am a mechanic at Roush, and this little guy works wonders!.  No more using jumper cables, no rushing home to jump the car or requesting road side assistance, just connect and you are good to go.  I also like the lights on it so it can be used in the dark or used as a signal if someone has to pull off the road at night.  It also has the ability to charge devices which can come in handy in an emergency situation or during hurricane season for us S.  So glad I purchased this, it saves so much time especially when one of the kids needs to use the car to go to work.

Once it is fully charged it can be used many times before it needs to be charged safe you can not put the wrong. Never needed it for my car, but have saved a few people from being stranded.

Drove for 20 minutes, but was low on gas - car turned over immediately at the station without needing to be jumped again. Dug our Chrysler 200 out after a winter snowstorm dropped over a foot of snow and several inches of sleet, only for it to fail to turn over.  Took it to the shop just to have the battery tested, and it was holding a quarter charge.  Charged it overnight, and after a bit of uncertainty as the engine struggled to get started we were back on the road. HAD MY EYE ON THIS AND WHEN IT WENT ON SALE COULD NOT RESIST THE DISCOUNT.  Not having anyone to ask for a jump, we saw this and figured it was worth a shot, if only to get it to the shop for a new battery.

Omg it is amazing!! A roadside assistance person told me about this and he told me that it is a life saver. I was surprised by how compact the actual unit is.  I also order sport carrying case we I would recommend.   It would be nice if that case was packaged with the unit by default.  This will be part of my standard car kit.

It was easy to hook up and I felt safe while doing it, even though it was raining slightly.   Pay attention to the directions!  Because the battery was so dead, I needed to press the manual override button. I bought this to jump my car after it went dead from lack of use.   Even such a poorly charged battery started right up!  Later in the month, I used this to recharge my phones during a power outage.   Self reliance for the win!.  It started on the 1st try.

Honestly, I brought this for my use but have used it more frequently to help neighbors and a couple of random strangers!So easy to use, and a MUCH quicker "jump" than standard cables. This little box is fantastic.  I did not want to use all of my AAA service calls to get it started again, knowing it. was probably going to sit and the battery would completely die again.  This little box would get it started in under a minute.  It does not take up much space and one a full charge, this got my vehicle running 5 or 6 times.  Definitely worth every penny.

It works  Honda Element; small battery . I bought this a few months after my company sent the employees home to work remotely, two years ago.  It seems to be ultra-safe. Works well for dead batteries to get the motor running.

I got this charged it up and jumped my chevy silverado with it fired right upSo far so good.  My car had loose connections to the battery, and I had to jump start it 3 times in one day.

This is *just* what I was looking for in a jump starter. I ordered this jump starter on March 4 and I have already used it twice this month.   It is very easy and quick to charge, which is really nice.   It is easily powerful enough to start a standard passenger car.   I will take this on all trips to be prepared for anything that might happen.   Both times, I connected the starter, got in the vehicle and started it right up - no waiting or issues.   I would recommend this to friends.   Maybe 5-7 minutes have passed, tried again, car finally crank and start.

I used this jumpstart a ton. Worked perfectly on my Chevy Suburban V8 5. 8L.  Needed charging out of the box, but when it was ready  3hr  I hooked it up and the car roared to life.  I will be keeping this charged and ready for emergencies.

had to use again, with the boost functionality, on this van  van was not in use for 2 weeks .  battery level was at 75%  after 2 uses .  Glad, I did buy it.  2005 Honda Odyssey battery was dead  not in use for almost a month and one of the door was not closed properly .  Unit was charged in Dec 2019 and used first time after 6 months  in May 2020 .  battery level indicator shows 100%.  normal jump start with this unit did not work. Works good.  had to use boost functionality on the unit.  it worked liked a charm. I went through most of the reviews when purchased this unit in Dec 2019.  it seems to be battery was completely drained.

The Genius Boost has a lot of safety features that I like, such as reverse polarity detection, and has rubber covers over the ports  and if you know what you are doing, you can disable those safety systems for a totally dead battery . Love this gadget.  A family member used it to start my vehicle so I bought one.  Used it for another family member and as soon as it was attached it started the vehicle effortlessly..

As a mobile mechanic this tool it is very helpful I recommend it.  And, since I like a good deal, I actually used this little thing to jump my car every time I started it for a week, while I looked for a good deal on a new battery  my man did not like this, since he was worried I was going to kill it.

Makes me cautious of accidental activation and running down the charger. This works great, jumped my 5.  It may have a safety cutt off i dont know.  However the light turns on a little too easy. Best safety device I ever bought on .  Compact, does not take much space.

Still doing its job and doing it well. I have had it for 3 years.  Feel safe when driving with it in the winter, and gives you a chance to be a cool hero on the road.  I consider this a no-brained.

If you constantly have to deal with trucks I would suggest getting one that is rated for that, but if you are in a pinch this one will work. When it comes to portable jump pack this is the gold standard. Comes in handy and charge lasts long.  Like advertised, it will start up a battery of a dead car in no time.  They recommend only 6 liter gas engines and 3 liter Diesel engines but I have used this in 6 liter Diesel engines and it also does the job.  I do not see myself ever owning a different brand, I would maybe think of getting an upgrade in the future but this one is excellent for now.

May be buying more for each vehicle. I charged it up when I unboxed it. Portable easy to carry and compact.

We have a 2015 Subaru Legacy, which as many will tell you, will run its battery down if you let it sit for more than three days.   We bought this to keep in the car for the occasions when we forget to put the car on the charger, or when we are going to be out of town for a few days.   So far we have used it several times and it has worked flawlessly.   We have not used the USB power supply feature, as we have smaller battery packs for charging phones and the like.   One thing to remember, most modern cars all have keyless entry of some sort.   The keyless entry may not work if the car battery is dead.   Be sure you know how to open your car if the keyless is not working.   If you can not get into the trunk without using the electronics, do not put your jump pack in the trunk.

I like the fact I can keep this in my truck and if I am ever out and have a problem I have something available right then and do not  to wait for help. I went out to start my truck the other day to go to an appointment and it would not start.  Highly recommended product.  So I tried to get a neighbor to help but could not get a hold of anybody.  Auto Club would take to long to get here so I missed my appointment.  So I started looking for options so I would not find myself in this predicament again.  I am going to get another one for my sister to keep in her car.  Arrived the next day and I charged it overnight using my iPhone charger.  Hooked it up to my tuck this morning and it started right up just as if I had another car hooked to it.  I prefer to be independent, if you are similar.  Found the Noco GB40 and read all the positive reviews so I ordered one.  With the Covid lockdown I just have not been driving as much.

Each time I had charge it was only depleted to somewhere in the 75-100% capacity.  I was a bit nervous to use the first time because I had never used jumper cables before, but this was SO easy.  I did buy the next size up as it was not much more and I wanted the added confidence.   I had a 2 year old bad battery in a 2013 that car with an undersized battery compartment. Used 3X already in sub 0 MN temps.  Winters before that lights would get left on in the back seat.   I love the confidence this gives me as a single adoptive mom.  It so small I have decided to carry the battery only in my purse January and February in MN.  Buy this for your wife, daughter, or frankly any young person's graduation present! They will love it!. Super easy to use, nice and compact to just keep in the car.

It is amazing how far technology has come is not it? Back in the day when I had a flat battery, my dad would pull out this huge thing that you had to plug into the wall, charge it up for a few minutes, then hopefully the thing starts up and you do not start a fire in the process. This little thing is so small! You charge it with a normal phone charger, and it packs away easily into the included box  or just a bag if you want .  For example, if you are starting a car with a completely dead battery, there is a slightly different process than if you are starting a car with just a low battery.   I have always found jump starts as something to avoid, now the jump start experience is on par with the difficulty of adding windshield wiper fluid.

After charging the GB40 I tested it on the van. I bought the Noco GB40 a few days ago for my father and I am highly impressed. A jump starter for the average driver is not something that you readily use, however it is very important that it works when you need it the most.  In testing, I removed the side post connectors and hooked up the GB40.  Then in manual override I was able to start the van.  There was a slight hesitation, however it did start within the first 3 seconds.  He has a GMC 5. I have used other battery jump starters and this was the only one that I found that would start his van. Since the rating for the GB40 is towards the upper limit of his van, I bought another Noco, this time the GB70 for him.  I did not want to take any chances of it not starting  although it did without the battery .  I will just keep the GB40 for my Jeep Renegade. 7L V8 Savana van and has had some intermittent battery issues  something slowly draining the battery .  The Noco products are VERY well made and the clamps are excellent.  Well worth the price and highly recommended.  The light on the charger surprised me, with how bright it is.

This charges quickly, and once you attach to your car, it is already charged when you jump in your car to crank it up! It can be used on the road for emergencies to charge your phone & your car if needed.  Can fit in the glove department or your purse.  battery was at 100% after one use.

I had to use it twice before I could drive around enough to get the battery charged up.  I really like that it has a usb plug for charging my phone or IPad next time there is a power outage.  It is so light and small, it fits in my coat pocket.  It started the car right away. for more than a day.   I ordered this battery boost and received it the next day.

Hooked it up and let it sit for a few minutes.  The starter was slower and labored a bit but still turned the engine over enough to get it started.  I keep it in my promoaster and have had to use it a few times.  Feels like it has a new battery when I hook it up.  We are going to get the larger battery for that truck.  This truck is basically a semi truck.  Cant say enough how much you need this in your car. The best I have ever used.  $99 is not a lot to pay when you compare it to AAA and the time you will have to wait for them to show up.  Has dual batteries and takes a lot of juice. This small jumpstarter is perfect for small engines and I really enjoy the fact that I can use it to charge my iPhone or some other USB device if I need to.  Today our Ford cf-700 had a dead battery.

A bit of a learning curve but I will chock that up to my beater car being a b****. .   Let it cycle a minute or two if it is really wasted before cranking the engine over.   I love the small size and the extra features, like charging my phone while dining at a restaurant!  Easily fits in your back pack/or a decent sized purse.   I rarely leave home without it and since it is compact, it is fairly light to carry!  I bought this after seeing my AAA driver using it to jumpstart my beast; have not regretted the purchase!. This item is the craziest cold cranker I have ever witnessed in my life!-32°F and my battery was dead! the best part was, I only have charged this thing once sense I have had it and left it in my car for weeks throughout the cold.

I ordered this Friday 2/16/18 and it came Saturday 2/17/18 as promised.   Not sure why next day shipping was free but I will take it.   The thing came packed like it might survive anything but a direct missile hit. When it arrived it had a 25% charge according to the lights.   It took a little over 2 1/2 hours to get to 75% and exactly 5 hours to full charge  green stops flashing .   Did not get warm at all.   Not sure if that time is par for the course or not but it did not bother me.   I charged it in the house with my iPhone 7s charger.   Does not come with AC charger.   Not sure if using something else might be a little faster but that was all I had at the time.   I guess if I had one little nit to pick, they could have included the charger. Have not done a jump start yet but will update when I do, as well as when I see how often I need to recharge just from sitting. I had it 3 months now and had to use it twice.

Very compact, powerful and easy to use.  It started my Toyota SUV without a problem and very quickly!!.

There was no power at all, not even the 2v to operate the jump device.   I put the jump box into the fail safe mode per instructions, waited the required 30seconds, and it immediately started a 5+ liter v8 from flat dead.   Super impressed with this thing and am considering adding another to my wife's personal vehicle. This was recommended by a friend.   Was not disappointed with this purchase.

I try to keep it charged when not using so it is always ready to go .  Great product!. I have been wanting a small, portable, powerful jump starter for my vehicle and lawn tractor fora while, and this works great. We needed to "jump start" a car that had a dead battery, completely dead, for over a month.

I works! I am a female and I followed the instructions by fully charging the battery first then connected it to the dead battery in my Nissan X Terra and it works!! I have used it twice since purchasing it in March 2022 and I love it and I am so happy that I looked beyond the negative reviews and followed my own heart. . I love this battery boost pack. it is way more convenient than looking for someone to connect a set of jumper cables from their vehicle battery to yours to give you a jump.  I highly recommend!!. Even left out in the cold for extended periods it is a tenacious little bugger. I am really impressed with this thing.  My only complaint is that the battery cables for jumpstarting could be a little longer but it has not been much of an issue so far and for most applications they are probably fine.  Great product, would buy again.  I was a little worried when I recieved it because it is about a quarter the size of the other ones I have seen but I have used it several times now and it is never let me down. I have a motorcycle and moped that have been out of service for years.

I have jumped everything from lawn mowers to Tundra pickup trucks with this marvel of convenience. I keep one of these packed on my motorcycle for long trips.  This jumper jumped my car twice on the trip and is an absolute must have for any car owner.

Very strong.  Jump started two basically dead batteries in a matter of seconds. I had bought this not even a week ago to complete my car emergency kit.

Like most people, I am not driving my car nearly as much these days, so it was not a surprise that the battery is not holding charge like it used to.  Long story short, when I needed it, the other jump starter failed to work  it was fully charged.    I ordered this one, and *out of the box* the car started right up.   Even on half charge!  Plus, the battery is much smaller, lighter, and more portable.   I am a very happy customer.  It had sat in my car for over 6 months without being used or recharged and still had a full bar of juice when I first turned it on.

So I bust out the Noco thats been sitting in the truck for almost a year now and hook it up to the battery, it fired up second try. Had a battery failure at the worst possible time.  I drive 20 mins home and turn the truck off.  I check the battery voltage and it is back to 9v.  Voltmeter showed 9 volts.  I think I have a bad cell in the battery or something.  I was unloading a trailer at the dump. I think the reason it took two attempts to start is due to the bad cell and the battery pack needing to start my truck without any help from my trucks battery.  For such a smalljump pack I think that is impressive.  Truck would not fire back up. 94 Ford Bronco 5. 8.  I didnt leave anything on while I was unloading. Exceeds expectations!  Outfitted police dept with one in every unit.

These make awesome Christmas presents. the update this novo is awesome I have used it for my 1gen sequoia started right up I have used it to help a few people one on a v6 first try started right up.

it should be in everyone trunk easy to use and very very handy if you ever need a boost.   The lil Honda fired right up. Great product.

So far product has held up its end. I bought this "just in case" as I park often in the woods with few other cars around  hiker and backpacker .  One morning my car would not start in the garage so I got to check it out.  Easy to use and the car started immediately.  Everyone should have one of these.

Was able to charge my car within 30 minutes of delivery today — super easy to use  grips were a bit tight, but I am weak as a kitten!  Great purchase, will now be able to recharge anything without slowing my roll.  Well, the very next week I had occasion to use it, and it worked perfectly! Everything connected as expected, I gave it just a few seconds, and the car  10+ year old Ford sedan  started right up! I also like that I now have an additional option for USB charging in case of a power outage, as well as an extra flashlight.

charges best with usb. held charge couple months. it weighs more and has heavier duty clamps than,the 30$ One I bought on the cheap which did not start my 4 cylinder Honda Element and battery was not completely uaes up. works great to charge iPhone though. hope I never need the norco,I will let you know. Just got this in yesterday and I needed to use it to jump a vehicle that has been sitting for 6 months and the battery was COMPLETELY dead. worked well on no completely dead battery. Just got it but my AAA guy that jump started me said this is the one. I had it 3 months now and had to use it twice.

It took about an hour to charge it up once out of the box.  Really easy to use.  That is what I found out on YouTube.  Maybe someone else did not know. So far product has held up its end.

Enabled the manual override - now it sees the low battery, but will not yet crank the engine. I wanted to test this device promptly rather than on my first future battery failure away from home.  Waited about 10 minutes, and tried the starter and it cranked, albeit slow, but it started the car.  So I purposely prepared a seldom used car for the test.  On an 88 mercury,  5.  The GB40 is definitely a keeper!  Will test again in a few days and update this review if needed.  Connected the GB40 and it did not recognize the presence of the battery - no effect at all.  The need for jump starts is rare. I bought 3 --me -wife -son.  This rendered the battery dead as a rock.

I know a lot of people that use these as well.  Mine recently stopped charging after 4 years. This has been a fantastic product and more than capable and portable jump pack. These are safer and more convenient than cables; every car should carry this in the trunk.

It charges quickly and easily through the 12v cigarette lighter and will jumpstart my truck, and charge all my USB based items. Very strongly recommend. . they have all pretty much . . .  well, let us be kind and say they were junk. . . . good stuff.   I expected another mediocre product, but turns out this thing functions incredibly well, takes a small footprint and is powerful/fast at charging batteries. I do long distance overlanding/travel and this little battery has taken the place of any other charging sources other than my truck. . . So I get this thing and the first thing I notice is that it is TINY. It has saved me a couple of times. Was having intermittent problems with my truck battery and kept needing to  jump it several times, so I bought this.  and the accessories that come with it look pretty good.

I have never jumped a car on my own before. I love this product.  I watched a simple 5 minute YouTube video for instructions on how to use this device and was able to easily jump start my car on the first try.  This battery packs a lot of juice.  After the jump it still had a lot of juice left in the battery.  The trunk had been left open for several days by accident and the trunk light drained the battery.  The bright lights and device charging feature will come in real handy for camping trips or emergencies.  When it arrived I charged it for a few hours and used it to jump my car.  I also really like the safety features on the device.  Do not let its small size fool you.   This has been a great tool.

I have a riding mower that had died and I hooked it up to the charger and turned the key and it started right up with no problem!.  Wont take a charge on my charger. The charger worked great.

What a fantastic product.   When I need to jump one of our older cars, it works everytime.   No longer must we move cars around to get the jumper cables connected.   Simple connect this to your battery, turn it on, start the car.  Given I have this jump starter in my trunk and barely use and only charge it once a year is nothing short of amazing for a 3.

I love it! It has already saved me from 3 battery boost issues like a champ. I have not had a need to use it for myself, but my neighbor's Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk needed a boost and after being hooked up to my car for over 20 minutes  albeit with flimsy cables  as he tried to get his car to over 11 volts, he turned the key and nothing.  He then decided to try my GB40.   Within a minute, he got his car up to 11 volts and it started!  Mind you I have an excellent Optima Yellowtop battery!  My mom had bought me the Halo Bolt 5500 on QVC but it was really a pain in the arse to use at night because you have to hit 3 buttons, in order, wait for a certain series of beeps, then try the car?? What the?  To it is credit, it did the job and it did it a few times without a charge  thank you MOM  BUT this is just true plug and play! ONE BUTTON! And it also has a light! 100 LUMENS to be exact!.

PLEASE NOTE:: This box must show some kind of voltage in order for it to do it is thing. I bought this for my dad.  My husband and I have one along with many other norco products and we absolutely love them.  Please keep in mind that it will not boost a completely dead battery.  The light is awful handy at night too which I use quite often. I love the product but i was charging just my iphone and it went through the battery significantly.

But when you need it, you really need it.   I charged it fully when i first got it and stuck it in the car.  First call to use it was 2 months later.   Hooked it up to my dad's car and was able to start it no issues. This is a difficult item to quickly review, you will not use it hopefully until you need it.   Was able to start the car twice more in 24 hours.   The size made it super easy to just hand over and he kept it on him.   Went to charge it and it took 1 hour to go to full.   Had maybe 6 more goes in it. Excellent product.   Does exactly what you need when you need it.  You can totally forget you have it till you need it. I can not recommend them enough, excellent device to have in the back of the car for you or anything needing a jump.

I only use this for occasional jump starts, so it should hold up for me, but if you plan on using this often then keep this in mind. I bought this for my 2005 Honda Odyssey, 3. 5L V6. After i jump my van i top off the GB40 via usb port in my van.  There is a vert slight heasitation, but not bad.  It only takes 20 minutes to fully recharge the GB40 from a jump. My only concern is the micro usb charging port. . . Even from a completely dead battery the GB40 works well. .  Those have a tendency to fail on many devices and in time it will probably be the weak point. Just got this in yesterday and I needed to use it to jump a vehicle that has been sitting for 6 months and the battery was COMPLETELY dead.  If i had to buy again i would get the next bigger charger just in case  especially in cold weather.

Best thing ever! I like everything about it. I will never be without it. This comp pack light duty battery booster is very efficient and it starts up the eight vehicles on 1 charge.   Much easier than hunting someone to give you a jump start.

I have jumped all kinds of engines from a 1. 6l four cylinder to a 1962 ford 390ci V8.   I can say that I have had this for almost two years and it has been used many times without fail.   One V6 there was no battery in it, and thanks to reading instructions how to bypass the safety  reverse polarity, not connected, too low  I was able to get it to crank four times for about 4 seconds each.   Yes, it did start on the fourth try.   If my neighbor had not shown me, I would not have believed that something this small can work.   Especially when some jumper cables will not reach when your parked nose in. I know companies products can not be 100% defect free, or could get damaged in shipping.   She can not hold one of those heavy 60lb jump boxes, but she can use this.   Great tool if you want to be independent while out and about. One of my kids accidentally unplugged my battery tender.

Very odd choice for the battery meter display that could leave you stranded.  It comes with a very cheap drawstring bag which is disappointing given that it is such a nice device. I got about 10 jump starts before I had to recharge the battery.  Also does not come with a charging block, just a cable.  Great buy.

While I was swapping my dead batteries, I hooked this thing up - alone.   It managed to crank the V8 and start it all by itself!!! The boat has been parked and not started for 3 weeks at this point and is kept in a garage so it was cold.   I had a bad battery last outing and this would have been nice to have! I did a test to see how it preforms in my application. I am VERY impressed with this little jumper pack. 7L V8  indmar 325 .   If you have a larger motor/truck get a larger one.  I have a 2001 Malibu Wakeboat with a 325hp 5.  Easy to store in your car. I bought this to have in my boat for those days on the water.

What a fantastic product. We have used ours many times over the last 2 years.  Also where we normally parked it, there was not room to get another vehicle close enough to jump it.   We keep it constantly charging in our glove box, and have never had issues.  We have used it about 14 times on our vehicles and some of our friends.  Would totally recommend and would buy again if ours was to break eventually.  It is very easy to use, and I like not having to ask someone else for help.

They now jump start their own cars and do not have to call me late at night.  Winner. This is my 4th  purchase of this product. !!. So far product has held up its end.

The flash light also works well. So far it works just as described!  I have a bad battery.   I can not afford a new battery right now so bought this and it has served me well.   Starts my truck every time and I only charged it one time.

Bought it because the auxiliary battery on my 2004 Prius is going out so it dies a lot and I have not been able to find a new one for it yet.  I have jumped my car four or five times on one charge probably could have jumped it more but I also used the light a lot at night for reading.  Only complaint I have is the little plastic covers that go over the ports in the end pop out because the plastic that tethers them to the device is too short and rigid.  Then I remembered I had the Noco booster in the back.

It is works great. This is something EVERY person should have.  There is no reason anyone should have to spend the same amount of money for roadside assistance to recharge your battery when you can do it yourself in less time.

Using jumper cables creates an unsafe situation on a number of levels - another car is involved  perhaps blocking traffic , cables can get crossed, and batteries can short out, etc.  Bonus - the built in light works, and this booster will also power your smart phone for a long time.  Great timing.  This booster really works.  I used a plug-in 2.   It is amazing how much power is in such a small package.  Everything is high quality including the cable clamps. 1amp 5v USB charger to initially charge it up.  The reason it is better than jumper cables is because it is safer to use.  That said, I think it probably makes more sense to just use the cigarette lighter car charger they give you, get's you in a good habit of keeping it charged inside your car so it is ready should you  or another stranded motorist  need it.  Even after I started my car the charger still showed 100% power.  I purchased two of these, one for each car, and I am glad I did.  I was pretty disappointed that I had broken it so soon. I live in the upper midwest and we are in the middle of a terrible cold snap, so just recently I had an opportunity to use this product.

Never needed it for my car, but have saved a few people from being stranded.   Not only that I do not have to wait overnight for the battery to charge.   It starts my car immediately and it also fits conveniently into my glove compartment.   I will never go back to the old way of charging a battery again I wish someone would have bought me this for Christmas or my birthday.

Just had to use the override button. Worked like a charm on my deader than dead battery.  I bought the hard case as well and I am glad that I did.  Already recommended this to a coworker.   Edit: still using it due to South Florida heat + infrequent driving means my battery goes dead quite often and happy to say my rating has not changed. It has saved me and my family several times from being stranded, a jumper is a must have for anyone who owns a car.

I do not travel without it nor does my youngest daughter. OMG!  This is a life-saver! I bought a new battery which, three months later, started to die too.  I could not imagine it was a battery probably so I bought this.  It is so easy to use.  And it works! Rather than have to call a friend or relative or tow truck to help me jump start my car  I called Uber once and paid the guy to jump my car cuz I was so desperate! , all I had to do was hook up this machine and start my car.

I have not had a chance to take it into the shop.  I have jumper cables, but this is a lot easier.  Very handy and portable. I believe my alternator is not charging as it should.  I strongly recommend having one like this.  It was also nice to know when we had a big snow, that I could at least charge my phone if we have a power outage.  A little peace of mind.  Everyone should have one in the garage.

I am glad I did.  Its quality is very impressive.  My 2001 Trooper has a good battery, but batteries have been known to malfunction.  I tried it out by hooking up a old, dead battery to the Trooper to test it, and it performed perfectly.  Now I have no worries.  The Trooper started like it had a new battery. My car needed a jump-starter after leaving 2 days in my garage.   i charged 4 hours to get fully charged.  due to stay home restriction, i need to jump start my car everyday for driving to grocery stores. my car battery 3 year warranty is ended during this pandemic.   this product can start my car 5 times before i need to recharge again.   i used once daily for 5 days without recharging it.   even the price is not much different with a new battery, but even a new battery I might need jump start if i do not drive much during this pandemic.   i am very glad that since i bought this product, i do not need to beg another motorist to jump start my car anymore.   even only one year warranty, to my experience, most lithium batteries can be recharged  longer than 3 years.  it is worth the price. I HAVE USEE THIS TO START A 4 WHEELER, ZERO TURN, LAWN TRACTOR AND EVEN A TOTALLY DEAD 2044 FORD EXPEDITION! EVERYONE STARTED AND THE UNIT DID NOT SHOW ANY SIGN OF NEEDING A RECHARGE, WORTH EVER DIME!!.

Otherwise, highly recommend!   PS - if you own a Prius, make sure to find out how to jump it, as, at least in my case, you only put ONE of the clamps on the battery, the other goes on any other metal part as ground . I bought this because my 2011 Prius was having difficulty starting.  It is very helpful and honestly safer than trying to flag down some rando to see if they have jumper cables or to give you a jump.   I have successfully jumped my car a number of times with it.   It is easy to use, easy to keep in the car, and has given me peace of mind knowing that even if the  now replaced  battery gives out on me again, I can start the car, regardless of where I am.   This has been a great tool.

I keep it in the car for emergencies. It is lite weight and easy to use. So often I find myself disappointed by some gadget purchase or another.

Wont leave you stranded when youre 2017 Road Glide Special does.   This thing WILL jump a 100% dead battery. it was because of this thing i was able to start my bike SEVERAL TIMES when it died on me, and limp it 30mins to the dealership.   long story short. .  Great product.   My regulator went out on me while on a long road trip..

Checked oil and put 2 gallons of petrol in it. It is been so long since I have taken my car anywhere during quarantine, and I am a bad car owner, so I went to start it up after about a month or two of sitting the in drive to find a dead battery. I was a bit skeptical given its size and previous experience with chargers rather than just straight jumper cables. Started the car first try, no issues.   I am always worried about connecting jumper cables between vehicles incorrectly, so it is nice that I do not have to worry about that with this. About the size of a laptop battery, it is small and super portable.   If all it did was jump your car battery it had be pretty great, but it also has a USB out and can recharge your other devices in an emergency AND has a flash light to boot.

But if you are not around another vehicle, having your own battery charger/jumper is the way to go.  This one is affordable, and I tested it on a car with a dead battery and she fired right up. It also does a great job as an emergency cell phone or tablet charger, and the flashlight is powerful and also has the useful strobe/SOS feature.  It does what it promises, and I am glad to have it.   I have successfully jumped my car a number of times with it.

Good power to start a vehicle that is been sitting with a dead battery & it can also run it as well I tested on a old Jeep 1998 with a 5. 9 liter V8 also used it my motorcycle I can actually store the booster pack in the storage compartment of the bike or keep it in bookbag. Best thing we have gotten to take with us in the boat Incase we need to and to throw in the vehicles for long travels.

When I got it I thought it was too small to do anything but I followed the instructions and my car started up like nothing was ever wrong! My battery was deader than dead and this thing started it up easily with plenty of charge to spare. The cables are really short but it was not a problem for me, and it is super easy to use.  I like that it has a flashlight and usb out for phones or whatever else.  Seriously I will always keep this in my car.  Hope we do not have to use it but feel safer with it.

Flash light and added functionality as a battery pack is cool too. Never fails to jump start our Mazda 3.  While other cheaper jump starters are unable to jump a super dead battery, this one never fails. - Also figured out that this works fine on AGM  advanced glass mat  batteries - they are lead acid batteries.  1 full charge is enough to jump the aforementioned Mazda 3 multiple times before it ran out of juice.  Even once, when the battery was so dead, that the jumper was not even able to detect it, overriding the safety was all it took to get the engine running again.

This thing is great jumps my truck with ease.

I used that product 4 times since leaving on a dead battery and it worked evry time. .  quick charge of about 2.   I ordered it past midnight and it was at my door before 8am that morning. 5 hrs.  Right in time before I hit the road on a long trip from tx-florida.  The only thing I regret about the product is that I wish i had ordered the 2000amp or even the 3000amp.  I came across this GB40.  A must have for travelers and very well recommended. I have been having issues with my 40ft gooseneck trailer charging my battery for my air compressor for air bags and I just got tired of unhooking every night to charge it. . . have not had to use it yet, but it does have great reviews.

lol. Jump started my buddies 4. 0L pickup truck immediately.  His battery's been dead for over a month. Originally bought it for my girlfriend.

I own 5 of these  2 cars, 2 trucks and 1 Harley  and can not tell you how many times they have saved me.   It is rarely one of my vehicles in need but the neighbors, 2 people at , guy in front of me at a red light, etc. Every new vehicle, boat, bike, etc sold today should come with one of these. This product is amazing! It is extremely reliable.

Worth it, if you are likely to need a jump or have limited space to store emergency equipment in your vehicle. My car battery was very low and I did not realize it and with one connect this charger get me up and going are you word purchase a few more for each one of my family members.

It is start my dead battery car that had more than year without start. I have used this product in a variety of ways.   I ran my battery on my van down and was able to get it started right away.  Then when my Dad was in the hospital I was able to easily carry it to charge my cell phone.   I love it so much I have bought some as gifts.

I did not know if I could really TRUST this device to WORK when I needed it MOST!  I had my doubts! I tested it on my 19 year old Camry that had a dying battery.  I had to keep it on a trickel; charger or it would be DEAD the next time I used it.  BEFORE I went out and replaced the battery .  I thought to use this excellent opportunity to test this "Jump Starter".   I used it on 4 successive days, starting my Camry from "will not start my car" status  without recharging the "Jump Starter" .  It worked perfectly, every time, without hesitation nor observable degradation of performance.  I am glad that it has indicator lights to report the "Jump Starter's" status.  Each time before we travel on an extended road trip, I will verify the status  It is now on my "READY LIST" of things to check.  I highly recommend this to you. .   Will see how long this last.

I am very satisfied with this product, very portable and easy to use, especially when you are battery  dies with no previous notice or any warning signs !!!!. Pays for itself on first use.

Charged it again. My sons 03 Civic's alternator died about 22 miles from home.   And ready to do its job again!  I had to make the jump box was in a safe place.   And headed out.   So it could do its job.   Hooked it up and turned ir on.   It sure did too.   Turn off all the accessories. .   I grabbed my jump box. .   Told my son. .   I wS there about 35 minutes later. .   Go straight home..

Liked everything about this product.  This was a birthday gift for my son and he extremely satisfied with this gift!! I am going to get me one next haha!. Nice packaging, feels very premium.

I tested it to jump start my dead Honda that has been that for the last 6 months 3 times in about 15 mins since it did not want to stay running. Easily tucks away in the back of my truck or even under the 2nd row seat.  Also easy to bypass if you really need the cranking power.  Pretty pleased with the size and capabilities so far.  Still on the initial charge. The safety features are pretty good.  I have also used it to charge my phone  when I forgot my battery pack.

3L V8 starts right up.  This is the lower powered model and even though it does struggle to start the car fires right up, so if you have a big engine like mine then you might want to look at the higher model. This is a great product and very convenient to have for a quick jump start solution, or for a model power capsule. My battery is about 3 yrs old and has bad cells.  You can charge other devices from it as well if your on the go without power. I ordered this and have used it 3 times so far on the same battery and my 5.  Wow.

Used it during hurricane ida when my service truck F350 with a 6. 2 gas engine and an optima yellow top battery run the cab.  I have a fridge, computer, tv monitor , microwave , batteries charging for power tools , etc.  i would leave all on and then in the morning the truck would not even click once.  Connected this and bam it started every time.  Not to mention you get 2-3 jumps before having to charge.  I never let it get below 50%. There is nothing to dislike about this.  Had a handy light and usb to charge your mobile devices.  Great for the working individual , weekend off road enthusiasts or just around your shop.  I jumped off my 1. 5 diesel L tractor when my neighbor borrowed it and left the key on.  No complaints here and the price was priceless. This small item in size has worked wonderfully I have been able to help three different strangers on the road and one of my coworkers.

The extra features for phone charging and such is also really nice, I just have not had cause to use it yet. This is the ideal product as an easy to use and transport jump box PLUS. Replace your old bulky unit!!.

but I suddenly needed it for two different vehicles on separate occasions during crazy cold winter weather!  It worked exceptionally well!  While I thought my batteries were good and my vehicles reliable, this saved the day when they failed me. Has worked every time I have needed it.

Ive had it for a couple of weeks and I have used it to jump start two mowers and one vehicle. Potable and convenient .  I love it.

I could see it having a lot of value for a shade tree mechanic, or an impound lot, something along those lines. It is amazing that something so small can jump your car.  If money is not a concern, it certainly gets the job done.  It helped me until I went to get a new battery.  Having said that, I find it a bit costly for something I would  hopefully  not use very often if at all.  And I was able to do two jump starts about a week apart without a need to recharge the device.  I had a battery issue exacerbated by the pandemic.

I love this thing.  I deliberately drained down one cars battery.  It fired the car right off.  Saved the price of road servie alone.  We do not have a diesel to really check it. . but on our stationwagon it worked great.  So now, instead of jumper cables alone, we have this charger.  I am glad I have it. . Portable easy to carry and compact.

But if you are not around another vehicle, having your own battery charger/jumper is the way to go. I had a frozen battery that had not been used in over a year and in two seconds flat this battery jumper brought that beyond broken battery back to life! Best battery jumpstart kit I have ever owned.

Keep it charged up and never worry anymore about having to ask a stranger for a jump, or wait in a parking lot for AAA. I bought this on a Black Friday deal.  Had this a few years, and this pack has NEVER FAILED ME.  Not to mention the charge holds.  I am writing this review years after I made the purchase and my dad bought 3 for him and my sisters.

Just came in today, I have a dead car so I charged the jumper for 30 mins and then tried it out. I can not recommend them enough, excellent device to have in the back of the car for you or anything needing a jump.

One morning my car would not start in the garage so I got to check it out. Well I just got this yesterday and let it charge.  Already had a project for it since my s10 needed a jump.  Tried once and nothing, tried a second time and after letting it drag the truck came to life.  So in my opinion this thing has already save me $80 or more for a battery.

I recently bought 3x these for our vehicles. Plenty of cranking power and very easy to use no long jumper cables to deal with.

When a battery decides to quit they usually do not give you any clue until it is too late. Kids are always out and about, hunting fishing etc usually by themselves. Got one for each of my kids.   Figured this could be extremely useful for them.  It is super light, like the weight of a laptop.

Really easy to use. Works as advertised.  Also, you dont need another car.  Was able to crank up my old Altima that had been sitting for awhile.   When I put it back on charge it still had 3/4 charge left.

Have had for several months.  Used once and it still shows a full battery. I have had historically bad luck with cars and have owned several jump packs similar to this one, but this one does not need to be plugged in at all times.  This one is small enough to keep in my backpack when I leave the house and you can even use it to charge other devices. Started my car right up when I needed it— there is something funny/not accurate with the lights showing that it is working on it but we were able to jump the car with it despite the lights being poor communicators as to if it was functioning or not.

Very portable, excellent addition to offloading vehicles. I used it to bring back my F150 back to life twice on a single charge and it worked like a charm. it is also very easy and safe to use.

Bought it for emergency use in case of a dead battery.  We live in an area that is rural and there are some areas that service or cell service is spotty if there is car problems. Have not tried it.  One in each vehicle.  The jumper cables part comes off if you need to use it to charge something else.

100/100. I had passed by a street in my neighborhood and noticed a vehicle immobilized or blocking four way traffic with the front hood up and very much in need of help. it is amazing and came in handy when my battery ran out.

Tried to go out for supplies this morning but my car would not start.  However, I had this little thing.  It is good to have in case you are somewhere inconvenient and without people to help you.  It was my first time actually using it.  Setup was actually quite easy once I learnt where the negative cable went and that plugging the cables into the battery pack is kind of important.  Because of self-quarantine, I had not been driving at all for a few weeks.  lol.  The car started up on the first try. I bought this years ago after my car battery died and I had to wait hours before being able to get a jump.  Cooooooooool.   Edit: still using it due to South Florida heat + infrequent driving means my battery goes dead quite often and happy to say my rating has not changed.

It is paid for itself already!. When I received this battery pack charger It too about 4 hours to fully charge from my plug-in adapter which I normally use for my cell phone.  The adapter got warm but never so warm that I could not hold it. Great when camping and need a quick source of power.  I needed to use the charger 3 times before I was able to bet the car problem fixed, and it worked like a charm each time.

Thank you introducing such a good stuff.  I went several time to youtube how to use it while I had the machine with my car battery .   The Living God , the Creator of all things is alive and with us. It was easy and very fun for a person like me so ignorant about car tech could my dead battery to bring back  to working condition.  I was worried it would be underrated, but I have not had an issue yet.  And after following the youtube instruction it started brum brum.

Within 2 seconds of putting this on the battery and turning it on, my jeep is running again. Started a Tahoe with a dead battery it had been sitting for a year.

When this item came, I charged it up within 2 hours. Great product.  It is a lifesaver.  My wife uses it to charge her phone.  I have not had to use the light feature but it is nice to have.  The charge lasts several days/weeks depending on usage.  I keep it mostly in my motorcycle, but I have taken it with me in the family car on long trips.  It is a little bulky, but I do not mind since I have a motorcycle with lots of storage space.  I highly recommend this product.  It might be a little pricey, but it is rugged as heck and you do not have to worry about it breaking if you drop it.

Started that fat bitch up no problem.   Flashlight is decent. Product does what it is supposed to do.   Good to use for when you are on the side of the road when dark.   Also like the fact that I can use it as a battery bank on the go for my electronics. no BS review.  Good to keep in your car if needing a jump.

I have used this charger twice, once when my car battery died, I live in a very warm area that is unfriendly to battery life! Also, I used it once at work when the truck drivers personal car battery died, I loaned it to him, and left for my route, he had no trouble using it even without any instructions! My whole family now carries this charger in our vehicles!. Started a Tahoe with a dead battery it had been sitting for a year.

so I bought this.  Just used it on a 5. 7 liter Hemi V8, the cranking was a little slow at first but it got the engine started.  I am close to the limit of a 6 liter gasoline engine so that is not too surprising.  I will try and update this review in winter to see if it still does the job. .  I have used it twice so far ; first time the car I tried to start had other issues so it would not start.

I bought this a few months after my company sent the employees home to work remotely, two years ago. I was very skeptical at first but who knew this small hand held device could be so powerful.  My old one was the size of a suitcase and was extremely heavy.

The tow guy hooked this up, overrid the safety mechanism, and my V8 4runner started right up. I bought one after I had to have AAA jump my car. To give an idea of how many jumps one charge will get you, I jumped the aforementioned 4runner, a 1998 Civic, a Chevy truck, and a Explorer all on one charge with zero problems.  The $50 jump starter I bought from  was not cutting it. I love this charger! It is just the right size.

Can also use it to charge devices since it has usb output as well. Bought this when my battery died.  When it came, I was slightly concerned that it would not work since it was small than I expected, but it charged up in a few hours and I was able to jump start the battery with zero fuss.  It is definitely going to be one of the things that I keep in the storage bin in the trunk of my car for emergencies.  I have got in my glove compartment now for any emergencies.

I have a larger, 2500 amp, unit that easily starts a large tractor. I tried starting a dead battery with no success.  I did not realize there was a safety feature that keeps the unit from sending power through the cables if it can not detect 2 volts.  If this is the case, you need to hold the red button for about 3 seconds to override the safety feature and then try to start it!.

The power also works. I often leave my lights on because they do not automatically turn off, especially during the daytime  like when it rains  and I can not instinctively tell or remember they are on when i get out the car.  Starts my small car in seconds and is pretty foolproof, assuming you can match colors with polarity.  I am curious to see how long it will last and how many jumps I can get out of it, but it is soooo handy and nice to not rely on a stranger's help to jump  your car.  if you are like me and forget to turn off your lights, you need this ASAP.

I bought this battery charger in July of 2020.  My car battery died in my driveway and I could not get another car close enough to charge it.  I ordered it based on a few rave reviews and it worked well on the first attempt.  Then I put it in my trunk, just in case.  Yesterday,  May 2021  my battery died in a store parking lot and I remembered the charger.  I was not hopeful that is would have any battery life left.  There was a 75% charge! After 9 months!! It charged and started my car on the first try! I will be buying one for everyone in my family.  I had rather use this thing over and over than have to flag down a stranger or get another car maneuvered into place and mess with 6 ft of cables.

Love the portability and power on this small machine.   Recharges fast and efficiently.   Only wish I would have bought the carrier bag to go with it since I have to carry it for quite a distance to cars in need of jump start. Was able to charge my car within 30 minutes of delivery today — super easy to use  grips were a bit tight, but I am weak as a kitten!  Great purchase, will now be able to recharge anything without slowing my roll.

Not so with this one.  It is lightweight, fits in my glove box, comes with a handy carrying case, and does exactly what it claims to… I absolutely love it.  It even jump started the dead battery in my old truck that had gone far too long without use. So often I find myself disappointed by some gadget purchase or another. Works as advertised. This thing is amazing.
