It charges my phone too.  Has a bright light.  I have headed this to jump start my f250 and a couple of other strangers cars.  Highly reccomend this product. I have had this less than a week and it is already pulled my ashes out of the fire.

Having 5 cars and 1 truck, I do not keep track of battery age, I can just use this to start the vehicle and get it back home.  If the battery is completely dead the charger will not automatically put it in boost mode.  You will have to do it manually and hold down the ! button until the lights starts blinking and then you start the car.  My family friends own mostly noco gb 70 and none of them had any problems at all.  We would use them to charge the trolling motors when out fishing.

I charged but do not use at the moment but a friend of me recomend this product. I should have bought one of these long, long ago.  This works exactly as the product literature said it would.  I hooked this up and was driving out in less than a minute.  The car was parked in a bad spot for jumping, nose in against a fence and a bunch of total strangers running as fast as they could from the guy with his hood up.  Buy one for every member of your family that has a car.

So far it has yet to let me down. Started a 7. 3 power stroke diesel.

0 Liter Escalade; Car started without any issues!  Powerful battery in a very high quality package!. Had a 0V flat battery on a V8, 6.  Very quickly charges the cars and can even detect completely dead batteries by acting as traditional cables.

Great value and works as advertised. One charge, 3 jumps, and still 75 percent full. Started a 7.

I have used it to start diesel pusher motorhome with a big Cat engine.  Wow. I can hardy believe how good this small jumper works. Really strong booster pack.

I have one in each of my card.  BUT  if dead, totally nothing happens , your battery ,it needs a little voltage to turn it self on, and make sure your hooked correctly  . Awesome portable jumper.

I was told to get one in case of an emergency and boy did it come in handy.  I have a Nissan Armada and in 10 seconds this small contraption jumped my battery back on!! I highly recommend!!!!..

Just what I needed something with a lot of power behind it  no more maneuvering vehicles to jump start with cables righteous.  Much better than those large heavy ones.

Works better than advertised stop. Super good product.   On the truck I had to use the manual override mode because the truck battery was completely dead.

Several tests to 300A for several seconds.   Did not record voltage. One test to 200A.   Did not record voltage. After the tests the voltage was a little below 12 volts. ----------------------------------I purchased the GB70 after watching a YouTube Video titled NoCo GB70 Torture Test in which the GB70 is used to start a 7. 5 liter vehicle ten times in a row  with no battery  and then used to start a 400 cubic inch vehicle that required about 10 seconds of cranking before it started.   After all this it started that vehicle another time.   This is very impressive performance. The NoCo GB70 is an extremely safe and very powerful Jump Starter.   It is  more expensive than many other jump starters but has very high output and good value.   It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Best battery jumper I have ever bought.  The light works on it but I never really needed it.

I love this jumper. more than enough juice.  Life is easier with it, whether it is testing 12V items, jump starting cars easily, charging phones, or even using the flashlight.

I never rate any product 5 stars, but this product empresses my review.  I have used it on my own vehicle twice and at least a dozen times on other vehicles, including an older Chevy Suburban 8cyl.

I could not resist the PRIME DAY price so I snatched one up.   Have not had a chance to use it as a jump starter yet but based on previous reviews I am pretty sure it should work.   It is replacing my old Costco purchased jumper which has way less power and less features than this one. Had my eye on this for a while. product is grate but to make it more portable I wish they detache the jumper cables and add a flexible side handle.

These are especially amazing when a car is parked in a garage and you cant get a car next to it only behind it or you have to push the car out of the garage, not with this. This has came in handy 3 times this winter so far for friends, worth every penny, Oh and I have jumped 3 cars over 4 months or so without charging this and leaving it out in the 10 below weather we are having. my only con would be that the cables are just a little too short, Id have liked to seen 4 AWG wire and a little longer length as Sometimes its a pain to position and use and one day I think it might not reach on certain vehicles. Fantastic item!  Really works exactly as advertised.

For the person that said it melted the terminals you put the negative and positive on the opposite way and that is what caused it to melt this product works perfect with me in my work field it has not failed me yet in the 3 years I have had it. Started a full size 2017 Volvo SUV with a completely dead battery . already used it two times.  Worked perfectly.

Charged it in 2020 and left it in the basement, essentially forgot I had it until my truck battery went dead at -20 degrees.  Plugged it into usb and after sitting for 2 yrs it charged the one last bar it had lost from sitting,. . Bought in case of an emergency no start for my truck in the winter.  in 10 minutes!!! Jump started truck like it was nothing.  I never expected this to stand up so long - high recommended to have around just in case - Also, flashlight on this thing is BRIGHT - LOVE IT THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME!.  Didnt miss a beat.

Started right up.   The unit is so compact I was able to attach it to the tractor battery and close the hood.   On the truck I had to use the manual override mode because the truck battery was completely dead.   I have not tried it in cold weather yet, but I am expecting it to do well.   Charging it with the 12 V cord off a vehicle was fast. When I bought this I was considering the larger model, but the GB70 performed well.   I bought the 120V charger and unfortunately it was faulty.  This work very well.

It is not like the dimensions were not listed.  The thing is a beast though!.  It is a little bigger than what I was hoping for, but that is my fault.  . Turns over my flathead V8 better than the battery in my hot rod.

This is a great quality product, solid build.  All types of input/output charger capabilities.  Only thing was I had to pay extra to purchase a hard case cause all you will get is a bag and I had to buy a A/C wall charger cause you will only get a tiny micro usb charger … other than that do not just leave it in your trunk for a year then when u need it, it does not jump and blame the product, batteries discharge over time.   I usually keep it in my house and when I need it I will take it with me.

It really sucks when you are five miles off shore with a dead boat.  Never again will I put myself in that situation.  A friend had turned a bunch of lights on in the gallery and aft bath and stateroom.  Plus the forward stateroom.  Not having extra back up power could have been disastrous because no body could see us.  I suddenly realized we had no power, all the anchor lights were off.  IMO all boats 30' or longer should have back up external power.  They got us juiced up again and we were on our way. I bought this for backup power for my boat.  It is a big safety issue.  Luckily I was dating the female sherif of our boating community and they  coast gaurd  recognized her. used it to jump start our tractor.  We were on deck chilling out when I saw the coast gaurd coming our way.

0 ford diesel  that was missing  2 batteries. 95 price appears to be standard everywhere it is sold  except on Noco's own website, of course , I decided to get it from Hammacher Schlemmer because, for the same price  less a HS site-wide promo that serendipitously came up , I can return it any time for any reason. I am here buying one because the AAA guy used it on my dead 7. 3 liter E350 and it jumped the vehicle without hesitation.  I have jumped 3 vehicles on 1 charge and it would do more.

First i have a wonderful wife and three daughters .  Between leaving hatch open on ones van , dome lights,  keys in ignition amd forgot to mention car barely was starting for weeks  bad battery  i get to over the years ,used everything from jumper cables to jump box , to these latest jump start devices .  I fill in when husbands are not available on daughters  .  THEY ARE EXTREMELY SAFE these latest jump devices  BUT HERE IS ONE ISSUE  .  If the battery is completly completely dead the safety built in features kick in , yes you can touch cables together no arc.  Hook up wrong no explosion of sparks . I have one and two others of different brand .  BUT  if dead, totally nothing happens , your battery ,it needs a little voltage to turn it self on, and make sure your hooked correctly  .  Or it thinks it is not hooked up or correct polarity .  So all it needs is a few volts in your battery to do it is thing .  Which in 99%of the time, ok ,  it should but totally drawn down nattery  no .  That is why i think when you read other reviews people say nothing happens .  Otherwise i have started boats cars trucks lawn tractor and even two family members are not afraid to use ,there awsome and amazing . This is well worth the money.

It would have taken an ordinary jump start several minutes of charging before it could have done the same. hope I never have to use it, better to have and not need.

Highly recommended. The GB70 Jump Start arrived in excellent condition. A must have when you are traveling.  All worked as expected.  Quality of the product is excellent.  Also bought the case which as a bit tight but certainly keeps the GB70 from moving around.  Probably will loosen over time.  Still excellent quality.  Bought this one to support my 6.  Charged the battery using the USB and the 56W Power adapter.

After use I just bring it in and put it on the USB overnight, next morning it is fully charged.  I have never used the charging port for the cigarette lighter however that should charge much faster because it provides several times the wattage a USB can provide. I have one, saved me twice when my battery was failing..

Back about 5 years ago we had one of these when I worked at CarMax.  We used this jump starter on hundreds of cars, trucks and commercial vehicles.  It was so popular that other departments would take it because it did a better job than there 25+ lbs jump box.  Also it is a jump starter not a battery charger.

I decided to get the larger size for my 1-ton dually 454, just in case.   After the interior light had been left on for a week, the battery was completely dead.   This booster cranked it right over.   It would have taken an ordinary jump start several minutes of charging before it could have done the same. I have a smaller model of this booster in my boat.   I also like how this unit has a built-in way to stow the battery clamps. Amazing product I recommend this for everyone's car! Really easy to use and all around a great quality item.

Solid unit that is for sure. .  I easily jumped my 98 dodge viper, which is a V10, with no problems. This is awesome.

I work as a fleet manager with 200 plus vehicles. . 7L V8 with a completely dead battery.  Was able to jump it in seconds! Ended up having to jump that truck 4 times today on the way to getting parts for its repair, with no issues.  I will be buying more.  It is quicker, safer and more effective then other methods and light enough that I can travel to some of our remote storage sites with out having to lug jumper cables or a charger around. . .  Needed to use it today on one of our 1/2 ton trucks with a 4.  Would have taken me all day waiting on my old jump pack to charge and attempt to jump the truck or costing $$$ for a tow to a shop. This should come in a nice bright colored case so you can always find it - that will protect it. For the small size of this unit, it works surprisingly well.   The carry bag is a joke. So far no complaints and does it is job.

I am so happy I bought this. I have to say this is an amazing product.  It is designed and built extremely well.  I used this battery pack to start my truck at least 8 times before returning home. This is one serious tool.  I have a 2002 Tahoe v-8 and on a recent road trip my battery fully died.

Just used for the first time!  EASILY started 3 battery bank on sailboat. Awesome.   price, but VERY happy I did, have used it a number of times, and it worked immediately, within seconds.

I got this to keep at work in my toolbox for when I have to jump dead vehicles.  I have only used it a few times so far but it is started every vehicle with ease and the battery level has not even dropped at all yet.  Most guys in the shop have the same one and everyone loves them..

Holds a charge for long time to jump multiple cars within that single charge.  I do have three gripes one being that it comes with no wall charger and using the micro USB takes forever it does have a 12v addapter charger for a vehicle that is faster but that is not always available when needed.  Second gripe the jump cables are short around 12in and is hard to jump some vehicles.  Third gripe is the caps that cover the charging/output USB charging port always come undone to the point I cut mine off as the were just  a nuisance.  This pac works great other wise and I can jump any light duty vehicle including trucks with diesels depending on the severity of a dual battery drain.  People that give this pac bad reviews A.  do not know how to use it correctly or B.  Do not realize that the GB70 has a hi output feature to help start severely drained batteries.  READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL and see a AAA oac in my book!!!. This is well worth the money.

I have come across many bad reviews that are not accurate and some are user errors.  This is not meant to be connected to a car battery as battery charger and left overnight. I have the gb40 wich I use it professionally at my dealership I work for i plan on buying the gb70.  Its a jump starter.  Or a power-packed to charge a small device via USB. Great Jump Starter--excellent quality--works great and just as described.

I started carrying a power pack in my truck to avoid this happening again only to find it dead when I needed it for a jump for someone else's car. I recently had to wait an hour for someone to come jump off the battery in my wife's car.   I am impressed with the features and the safety built into this tool.   Have not had a chance to use it as a jump starter yet but based on previous reviews I am pretty sure it should work.

I soon ordered the GB70 and it did not disappoint.  After sitting for about two weeks, the GB70 started my truck without hesitation. 3L miserably. Works Great. I bought a smaller unit of another brand that claimed to be rated for a 6L gas motor, it failed to start my 5.

I used it to jump a truck and it started right up no problems. This beats out the others for starting big SUVs.  I used  it also for powering a 12V pump for the tires.  Do not go camping  without it. Though it can be used for charging USB devices, it is a bit bulky for small inconveniences.  Very good however for a USB camp light as it will go for hours. I  am disappointed that it does not come with a durable case to suggest longevity for use. Its about time Noco address this issue.  This is the third Noco product costing more than $80. 00 I have bought.

4L with a dead battery.   Vehicle started up first turn of the key, so no complaints at all. I had to use this to jumpstart an Expedition 5.   I plan to charge it regularly when in storage so will see how well it holds a charge. I can hardy believe how good this small jumper works.

Pricey but works great. It is small and compact and hopefully it will do the job if I ever needed!.

This is by far the most awesome bad ass booster I have ever owned!! I questioned the 2000 amp boost so I connected to my tester which could not go above 1000 amps and pegged the meter.  Boost anything I have including Bobcat 943, F350 diesel, cars etc and can do it many times for a completely dead battery.  I keep the unit inside on our farm most of the time so not to be affected by low temperatures affecting the boost power.  Expensive but worth it to ensure you always have a boost.  Battery stays up very well.  Never drains.

Thanks for the excellent product!!!. I bought this back in 2020 as I needed a booster/jump pack. It is awesome small and does the job.  Today I am purchasing the carry case instead of using the bag, bag is ok but hard to take in and out it is like you are dressing/clothing your booster.   I have had no issue from day-one!! I of course did not read the instructions when I tried to start a dead battery thought this booster was bad! Lol, push the button to override the safety and bingo has all the power to start!! Highly recommend do not use jumper cables on new cars of today with all the computers in them as one wrong jump start you have fried a computer or many of them!! Known a person that had a Dodge Magnum and lost the main computer that cost $$$$ to replace.  I have had others but batteries got bad, are heavy and too bulky to carry around.

I have had this hanging out in my car for like a year and this morning, it finally came in handy! The instructions were very clear, and it was so easy to use.   I had just taken out the English language instructions bc the booklet was so thick with instructions in like every language.  . Works great.

S.  Battery goes dead durning one of the worst series of storms that have gone through the state in maybe 5 or 6 years. So I retrieve the GB40 from out of the trunk and hope it works  since I have not recharged it in quite a while .  I connect it to the battery, turn it on, sit in my car and turn the key.  Nothing! I get out and check on the GB40. . .  So I try again and sure enough, the car starts right up.  Worked like a charm.  I only had to stand in rain for a few minutes. So there is my testimonial of sorts.  Sure the clamps could be designed a bit better.  Sure the cables could be a bit longer.  Sure it could have come with a hard case. I guess it comes down to this.  When I needed it, it worked! And to me that is all that matters. Car Jump Started:2002 Chevy Impala3. Untill today  January 12th, 2017  that is.

You will have to do it manually and hold down the ! button until the lights starts blinking and then you start the car. Bought this for work to run RV slides in and out as well as the stabilizing jacks.   So far it has yet to let me down.

Do not want to have to use it but I have got it if I need it!. Love the size and the features. Awesome.

Well worth the price. Like alot of you was looking for this because i already have some type of "drain" problem so ive hade a few opportunities to use this including jumping a few ither vehicles  bonus for living in Colorado in winter  so far FANTASTIC! works great jumped my vehicle 3 times.  And others twice.  Has been left in vehicle at minis 1 degrees and still functions! Thought I had bring it in and charge it.  picture show charge after just plugging in.  Green light barely just flashing.  Still had plenty of charge.  Have had some really bad experiences with this type of jump system but EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS ONE! I have used it numerous times to jump start cars in my company parking lot. I have had main for almost a year and love the Noco GB70.   I have used it to jump my 4x4 when my accessories  aka fridge and inverter  have drained my battery.   And this all has been on the first charge.   It also impressed me when it started my project vehicle with a battery reading less than 1v using the boost mode.   I was well packed and included everything you needed include a draw bag to keep everything together. I would recommend this to anyone. Very nice quality item! Super easy to use!.

Starting the V8 boat and car several times and still showing more than 75% charge.   Clamps are too big to fit the jet ski battery.  Does Noco have a solution?. Has already proven to be a very good purchase. Jump started a diesel with two completely dead batteries.

It works like it should no issues and three cars and two trucks with V8 engines and still have 75% life left so yes I would recommend it two thumbs up. Great product for many applications!.

I do not abuse, or neglect my tools, but for someone who does, it can withstand a beating.  It is powerful, it is light is fairly bright, it is light weight, it is small, and it is extremely portable.  It is worth "more" than the asking price.  Built to last, and has a long life user span.  I keep the 2000 model in my daily driver car in case someone needs a jump. IMPORTANT INFO:It has "programed" safety built in.  It can jump start a two battery tandem dump truck, no lie.  So when jump starting, just turning it on, only tells it to display to the user it is ready, and how much charge it has, and the vehicle charge level as well. IMPORTANT INFO AT THE END OF MY REVIEWI bought mine at my place of duty at a Chevrolet dealership.  While its on, press and hold the info button, or the "i" button, and when the level indicator lights begin cycling a blink motion, it is safe and ready to jump start the vehicle.  And I got the same one in my tool box at my job.  It is programmed to check for charge system faults to prevent battery explosions, and to check for correct polarity connection.  It can stay fully charged for a few months. Holds charge well.  It is far better than the ones a automotive technician can purchase from tool trucks, or the ones anyone can buy off the shelf at stores.

I will buy my own next paycheck. Just used one of these today.  Noco makes Great products and recommend any of them.   I could not get it to work.   My 12 volt batteries were both drained to less than 3 amps cuz someone forgot to turn the electronics off 12 days ago.   There is a second button that was needed to be pushed to make the booster work on a totally depleted battery.   Worked like a champ.  The Boat yard  swears by this booster, their experience is better than any review on line.   It is owned by a marina and I had two dead batteries on a boat.

This has fully paid for itself and then some.   I have used it 4 times on my accord and once on my neighbor's  suv.   When it is cold outside my battery tends to die because my car can sit from time to time.   It takes no time at all and starts every time effortlessly. I have an older car and have street parking on a busy street so to jump my car is a pain to say the least. Like the small size with lots of power and just hope I never need it.

This is one serious tool. As a mechanic I rely on this to help customers and it is more than paid itself off. So this tool does not come with the 12v wall charger.  XGC54 is the model number of the charger to buy as well so you can get it fully charged using a wall outlet. otherwise you are stuck with USB charging and it is slow to charge.  Takes overnight USB and 2 hours wall.

Awesome product. Im a professional auto tech.  I got tired of luging around a traditional heavy jump box.  I can get 20+ jump starts before needing a recharge.  Its also handy to use as a power source for bench testing.  I Like it so much I bought another for use at home.

So far I love it and has definitely come in handy. Keeps a good charge and in less than a month I have helped 3 people. Well it did start my dead battery when I needed it.  2 mid sized sedans and a Tahoe.

Be it on sale or not, I am quite happy with this purchase! I will be updating this review as situations or issues arise.  It is designed well, super easy to use, and it is fairly small! What is really nice is the fact that you can charge it up with a phone charger  overnight at least  and just toss it in your glove box, or whatever spot you have. It also pulls double duty as a rather massive battery pack for a phone, console, or pretty much anything that charges off of USB as well. For the person that said it melted the terminals you put the negative and positive on the opposite way and that is what caused it to melt this product works perfect with me in my work field it has not failed me yet in the 3 years I have had it. The other really neat thing, is, that it includes an adapter to give you a very handy 12v outlet, so one could power an air pump, or pretty much anything you would want within reason. Overall, this is a great product.  Though, there are no fancy charging technologies, so do not expect super fast charging times.

It is first class construction, simple to use and holds its charge for, I know from experience, at least a year. I bought one of these in Quito, Ecuador from a parts supply store, paid almost $100 more than U. S.  Ecuador has great temperature variance form very hot in the  to freezing cold in the high Andes; the unit does not seem to be negatively effected by variation within her parked SUV.  My wife is a tour guide, and a failed battery would ruin her and her traveling client's day.  She keeps this unit under her SUV passenger seat giving her great peace of mind. .   price, but VERY happy I did, have used it a number of times, and it worked immediately, within seconds.  Do not hesitate to buy this unit.

Always had a quick start but needed to let it charge a couple of minutes on the truck.  I tested the safety system by try to hook it up backwards and, just as claimed, it would not accept the "mistake".  Charges quite quickly and stays that way. I have had my GB70 for several years now and was surprised how nearly fully charged it stays, even after long periods of time.  Takes up so little space that I leave it under the seat of the car. .   Has used it a few times already and has recommended it to even his pickiest of friends.

During a couple weeks time dealing with a failing car battery, this compact unit fired up my Mazda 3 several times, instantly and without breaking a sweat.  After that, its indicators still showed that the GB70 was fully charged, so the drain from 5 or 6 starts was minimal.  I am very impressed with its power and build quality.  The only improvement I had recommend is that they increase the cable length.  I understand that the way the cables tuck into the side of the unit is very tidy, but they are annoyingly short when in use. Cold weather kills car batteries fairly quickly so I knew this could come in handy. Bought the gb70 several months ago.  Long story short, I ended up jumping 9 cars that were completely dead and still had 50% left on the jumper.  We had a few snow storms roll through the past 2 weeks and I work at a dealership.  Was super impressed.  Only used it once until recently.  My managers are considering buying several for the dealership as they are lighter weight and can jump more vehicles than the traditional jumper pack used at dealerships.  I bought it just for this situation.  Has jumped many vehicles and still has plenty of battery.

It will jump a completely dead battery, but you have to first disable the safety feature, since it can not read voltage to determine whether you have it hooked up correctly. So far, so good, I have jump-started a 4-wheeler, 2 Toyota Tacomas, and a small diesel tractor without issue.   I just hope it lasts. Awesome portable jumper.

I have had no issue from day-one!! I of course did not read the instructions when I tried to start a dead battery thought this booster was bad! Lol, push the button to override the safety and bingo has all the power to start!! Highly recommend do not use jumper cables on new cars of today with all the computers in them as one wrong jump start you have fried a computer or many of them!! Known a person that had a Dodge Magnum and lost the main computer that cost $$$$ to replace. 1st of all opening the package by itself is a great feeling due to how well package the gb70 and the size is really likeable.  Right now my gb70 is charging.

It was quite impressive. So much simpler than getting a vehicle nosed in, dragging out the booster cables, getting it connected correctly without blowing up a battery, charging for a few minutes and then having someone stand on the gas pedal of the running vehicle to help turn the dead one over…It was speedy- I will try to write a review after some uses to give a longevity update. Took a long time to charge on the usb cable - no wall wart included - I think the manual said it would fully charge off a 2.  But! So far this was a great purchase. 8l engine van and connected it and it turned it over 3 times and started right up. Liked the packaging. Pound for pound the best jump starter and portable battery pack on the market. 4a wall wart usb connection in 7 hours- this turned out to be correct.

I bought this to jump my 2004 Ford f-150 5. Great product! Works great & would highly recommend!.

1 L faster.  Sure the cables could be a bit longer.  Today start International Engine 8. Excellent.

It has a cooling fan and very nice meters and excellent clamps. This is an amazing product!! Started up the dead battery, I mean no lights in the dash, nothing, V8 truck no problem at all!! Just leave it plugged for a few seconds for a REALLY DEAD battery!.

Works great.   I just hope it lasts.  Also the truck. used it to jump start our tractor.

Could not start my zero turn JD lawnmower. Has been a phenomenal piece of equipment.  I hesitated at first, not knowing if I was about to do something pretty foolish.  Obviously, could not start.  First attempt with GB70, amazingly started right up.  However, mower started right up.  No problem. Second opportunity occurred with friend who owned Ford Shelby that battery depleted if car not run weekly. All I can say is that I am extremely impressed. The last application just tickles me. Had a 2001 Toyota Sequoia that unfortunately sat unused for 2 years. I use this on long hunting trips.  Car started on first attempt.  Had to apply at least 4 times before I could replace battery.

I can vouch it will start a diesel truck, more than once on a single charge. The bad thing is that it does not include a wall charger.

Used it twice already jumping some V8 Engines.   Started quickly and we were on our way.   Perfect. Awesome portable jump starter, I have the GB40 and the GB70, worth great, really like the cigarette lighter adapter on the GB70.

Little bigger than I expected, but that is ok.   I wished it came with a outlet plug. I like this battery jumper because it holds a lot of juice. It works like it should no issues and three cars and two trucks with V8 engines and still have 75% life left so yes I would recommend it two thumbs up.

It works. Have not used this to jump a vehicle yet but have used it to power a air compressor and it worked well.

BUT  if dead, totally nothing happens , your battery ,it needs a little voltage to turn it self on, and make sure your hooked correctly  . Awesome product and easy to use!.

Just nice to know I have it for back up. Nice unit and looks fairly heavy duty. I have had this less than a week and it is already pulled my ashes out of the fire.  Never needed to use it but played with it in the house.

He carries it in his car and actually gets lots of use from it. This thing is a beast! Had a 26' box truck with 3 batteries that were completely dead.  This thing turned it over in 15 seconds! Excellent product!!!!.

As it happens, though, I rescued a beautiful neighbor in distress--aged Moustang with a dead battery.  Having read the user manual, I knew that after the Noco could not start the Moustang because the car's battery was too far gone, all I had to do was enable the manual override. 95 price appears to be standard everywhere it is sold  except on Noco's own website, of course , I decided to get it from Hammacher Schlemmer because, for the same price  less a HS site-wide promo that serendipitously came up , I can return it any time for any reason.  I probably would have bought it from HS even without the promo for that very reason.  And, As Julia Child was fond of saying, Viola! The old Moustang started right up.  So what can I say other than caveat emptor? It is also likely that many people did not bother to read the instructions. If more people actually read instructions, fewer people would complain.  OCD, do not you know.  And, by the way, I bought Noco's external charger and storage case from  . After reading all the positive and negative reviews on  of the Noco GB70 and considering that the $199.  .  I will probably never have to use it on my own vehicles, since I maintain them meticulously.  . I infer from many of the negative reviews that some of the Noco-branded batteries could actually be knock-offs. Recomended 100%Great jumperWorks everytimeEasy to cary bet product i have bought in .  But it is nice to have it as insurance.

Jump started a diesel with two completely dead batteries.   It worked well on all of them and seemed to have plenty left after each start.

Still it does what I need it to do. Does what I need it to do. .   A little difficult to believe that the advertised Amps and go through that gauge wire. Is nice working perfect  so verry good.

This is one serious tool. Like the small size with lots of power and just hope I never need it.

I work on high end cars, this jumper can prevent costly mistakes.  All the amps needed for any car or truck.  I recommend it.

Can not start a completely dead battery. One of the best purchases I have made. Works very good but needs to have a little bit of power from the battery your jumping.

This is a mini-beast.  Powered up a v8 with dead battery multiple times with no problem.  I have used it to start diesel pusher motorhome with a big Cat engine.

What a great product for road side services.  Highly recommend.

Even after multiple jump starts it still has enough juice to perform a few more.  Only wish the cables were a little longer which may be an issue with some vehicles but has not been for me yet.  Its compact, light weight and easy to handle.  Charges up quickly, starts anything at anytime. I use this at work and it has no problems jumping our small gas motors and even our larger 6.
