Mainly bought this for the "bridging" feature where it does not try to smart detect a battery. I had just bought three of these on   day, one for each of our vehicles.  We went camping with some friends and I kinda bragged about it to the husband.  He said “I have not ever needed anything like that”.  He just always keeps a good battery on his truck.  Later that day, he got in his heavy duty dodge pickup truck and the battery would not turn over the engine.  My husband asked me to bring them my starter which I did.  I just let himkeep it in his truck until he was able to buy a new battery.  Our friends said they were going to order one too.   Ironic timing, I know! My husband had been skeptical because he has a huge jump pack in his truck  But this compact one worked just as well!.

0L but it could not start my 5. Product works like a charm but for smaller engines. 7L hemi at all.  I had to upgrade to the 2000 amp one.  I used to have a 4.  Still a great product and I recommend it for the smaller engines. 0L v8 and it could start the battery up 4 times without having to charge it.  My battery on my 2009 Lincoln MKZ was so dead that I had to use the manual override feature  make sure you have the +/- clamped correctly  - pushed the override and heard my lovely alarm go off and was able to start my car.

Then as I was frustrated because the car was not turning on I decided to do what no one does and read the manual.  And low and behold there is a section where it explains that if the battery is too dead it might not be recognized by the machine. I was having soo much trouble I clicked the on button and the battery indicator was on but nothing else.  To know if it was recognized there is a separate light next to the red line that will be turning on and the battery indicator on this should be moving not on solid colors. So that made me know that the battery was just too dead.  After realizing there is a note there saying you have to hold a button that has the exclamation mark for a couple minutes. I was about to put a 1 star review and return the product as it was not working with my mazda 3 2011.  After doing this my car turned on and worked. I got this when my car did not start one morning.

Worked with it for the first time, and it worked great.  It starts them all easily and quickly.  This is much easier than jumper cables and takes up less space.  It is well built and rugged.

A good quality charger that is useful for starting your car when the battery is not working. This hand held car starter has been a life saver on several occasions.

I know it would not have been able to jump that engine from dead, but in that specific situation, the Noco still did the job. I have owned this for three years, and have started four vehicles with it in that time. Overall, I am impressed with this little booster pack. Guy at the dollar store could not start his beat to heck Jeep with the entire KC Lights parts catalog on the top of it.  First time start with the Noco.  First time start with the Noco. Guy at work with a Dodge 1500 was completely dead.  Take it inside every month or two to charge up when you do your maintenance on everything else in your vehicle  You are doing that, right? , and this pack should work for you on most vehicles.  Had forgotten to charge the Noco recently, so we hooked up with regular jumper cables.  After 20 minutes, we realized my little SUV just did not have juice to jump the truck.  Pulled out the Noco to try it anyways.  Despite the Noco battery being on the last red bar, it gave us a first time start. Guy at a campsite left his lights on on his Ford dually diesel.   Hooked this jumper right up and started my car almost instantly!!Great product.  The Noco gave just enough extra power to get it started.  None of them were even my own vehicle; I just happen to find people with dead batteries somewhat frequently.  No crank, no lights, no nothing.  Still had enough juice to crank the engine halfway, but not enough power to get the compression to fire the engine.

After hooking up my Noco jump box and waiting for less than five minutes to charge the battery, it cranked the engine up right away, but it was necessary to wait the five minutes to charge the fully dead battery before cranking the starter…. 2021 Tahoe Z71 with every power draw feature available. After installing my dashcam, I have left it on several times unknowingly and have killed my battery down to just about nothing… as I had to use the actual key to open the door due to dead battery.

He had a 5. 7 V8 and turned it on and the boost.  Waited 15 seconds and started right up.   Had in my truck and helped a gentleman in the parking lot.   Everyone is getting these for Christmas!. My husband loves this jump starter.

The battery in my sedan died completely during lockdown.  It had to be jumped every time I wanted to start the car.  I could not even unlock my fuel tank immediately after I turned off my car at the gas station because the lock is electric and my battery held no charge at all.  This little thing made starting the car easy and stress free before I could get a new battery.  It worked instantly every time. I did not even know these existed before I bought one and now I am shocked and appalled at all the years I went without it.  I had to use the safety override, which does not have an obvious switch so I recommend storing the instructions with the starter.  It works so well and brings so much peace of mind that I bought one for my sister for her birthday. I have not had to use the light thankfully, but just shining it around my windowless bathroom it does a good enough job lighting things up.  You will be able to see what you are doing during a night jump.  It just works.  Battery indicator so you know when to charge the starter.  I last used mine maybe 3 months ago  when I used it probably 6-7 times and did not charge it  and it still has 3 out of 4 bars lit up on the charge indicator.  Charges with the ubiquitous USB type B micro, so if you are anything like me then you already have at least a half dozen charging cables for this device within arm's reach 100% of the time.   Very handy.

Tried jumper cables to no avail, but my noco jump starter resolved that in about 30 seconds with n complications. 7L with no lag. My car had been sitting in the yard nearly 6 months unused and would not even turn over.

I have kept this in my work truck for a couple years now, an f150 with the 3.  The great thing is that it is also handled some 5. 0/ 5. 4L V8 jumps like a champ.  Boss had his truck go dead a couple times from some mystery reason, no problem.  Client went to move a vehicle that was parked such that we would not be able to use jumper cables anyway, no worries. Sure it is not a huge pack that you would be able to throw on a diesel monster with a flat battery, but for those of us driving more typical vehicles, this small pack is a no brainer. The flashlight seems a bit gimmicky, but I get it could be useful.  The usb charger is a nice touch, but I forget it exists, even if my phone has run out.  The fact that this can hang out in my truck for 6 months and still be plenty charged for a jump is perfect..

I popped the hood and this thing jumped my car, no problem. I have a 2015 Subaru forester.  If you also own this model, you will know that there is some lights which you can turn on in the interior of the car. Very handy and useful to keep in my car. So, come Monday morning, I tried to unlock my car with the fob and what do you know, it did not unlock. Unfortunately, these lights do not turn off unless you manually turn them off and they will happily drain your entire battery.

and I am an idiot for leaving the key in the on position in my car potentially allowing someone to steal it, but let us not get into that! so after work I came back and pulled this NoCo jump starter out of my trunk and attached it to the terminals then into the battery unit pressed the power button.  waited 30 seconds, then put my key in the ignition, tried to start it. . .  and it started right up! now that I put it to the test I know it works! the battery probably was not completely dead but I know it was low to the point of not being able to show anything electronically on the dashboard, so I do not know if it will work on a completely bone dry battery that is been dead for months.  also when it started back up, my radio turned on so I know it was dead enough and long enough to reset some of my settings in the car  I leave it on sync line in and it defaults to that when i start up .  My car is a 2012 ford Fusion SEL 4 Cylinder FWD, in case anyone has the same car as me you can rest assured that the odds of it working on your fusion or similar vehicles are very high, great product and so far so good!If I have to use it on any other cars or my battery goes bone dry I will update my review. I figured maybe it was a power saving feature built in the car, so I pulled the key out and put it back in and still nothing, that is when I knew i killed my battery.  Update on August 19 I tried it on a Craftsman riding lawn mower and it got it up and running too, it had a low battery and could not crank on it is own, this helped it start immediately.  I will keep updating if I ever get a chance on anything new. I accidentally left my key in the ignition with it in the on position during lunch break and forgot that I left it there, that was 12:00 PM fast forward to 2:00 PM I come back and realized I left it in there and nothing was on, dashboard was off lights were off, no dinging or anything. .   It worked as advertised!  Have not tried it on a car battery yet but I have used it multiple times to start the riding lawn mower.

I bought this to charge my truck that had been off for months it help me started right up since i bought I only charged it once and had three cars jump started and it still has some juice in it powerful little jumó box and it fits perfect in my glove box or center console of my suv I am very happy with it highly recommend. This pack comes with a car adapter where you can charge the device with while you drive and keep it charged.

This worked exactly as expected: press the button, power clicks on, car starts. These are great.  They are good for several jumps between charges.  I was even able to start my husband's 84' F150 3 times from completely dead before I had to recharge.

My trunk did not latch and a light stayed on overnight and drained my battery.  Tried this with fingers crossed and my car turned over on the first try pretty easily.  So yeah, it really works! I am gonna buy another one for my other car.  The timing could not have been better - a chance to test my new gadget!And I must say it is a life-saver.

1 is every vehicle I have, includingy husbands semi truck 18 wheeler.  His battery was dead on his 18 wheeler and my box jumped it right off with no hesitation, so we got him one for his truck and now he has several fruends who have ordered one as well. Had an old school version of a portable car battery charger for years but is was huge, heavy, and a PIA to charge, so I rarely kept it in the car.  This version is small, easy to find a spot in the car, and easy to charge.  Battery was dead tonight after a long day at the office and I used this device, and the car started right up.  No sparks.  Easy to connect to the car battery.  Saved me from waiting 1 to 2 hours waiting for AAA.  A few weeks ago my battery was dead and I pulled the charger out of the trunk hooked it up, turned it on and my car started immediately.

I started a Ford Explorer that was sitting for two years with a battery that would not take a charge! I added a fuel additive to the gas and connected this bad boy and it fired right up first try. I keep this in my lower fairing on my Indian.   Battery has a good charge after 6 months.  Very pleased.

My only complaint is that I am not on commission . It really works, I let it charge for half an hour then put it to work since we woke up to a dead battery.  In less than 5 minutes the car was back up and running.  I let it sit for 30 seconds then I went to start the car and it started.  I am impressed, I definitely recommend this product!.

The instructions are good and all the correct lights lit up, but it did not start. Very handy and useful to keep in my car.

Very compact and comes with a bag to keep the cables, battery, and cord together.  Easy to use with countless videos online if you need help.  It easily charges with a micro usb and can even act as a portable charger.  My whole family has one in their trunk now. I am very impressed and feel so much better knowing I do not have to bother my neighbors during winter anymore.

Battery went dead and after watching how too video, it only took 3 minutes.   Just run the car for 3o minutes so Battery runs back up to normal. We had a battery die at a wholesale club gas station.

It started right away even with the big SUV Lexus GX470Now, i have this one with me whenever I suspect my car's battery is closer to replacement.   There is no need to call tow truck to jump start the car  waiting time at least 1/2 hrs , or look for some people to help you out.   If I forgot to charge the battery, I used it to start the car. . I have multiple cars that I do not use frequently especially the Lexus GX 470 and BMW Z4 because of the premium gas requirement for the cars.

I charged it fully in 5 hours and worked like magic. This has saved my life more times than I can count! My car battery only seems to die at inconvenient times and without warning, so this is a huge help to quickly be independent and on my way.  It takes literally 10-15 seconds to jump a SUV car battery! The ONLY downside is that storing it in a hot car is not recommended, which negates the helpfulness if I can not keep it in the car year round in SC.   I also love that it functions as a power bank - we get power outages even without hurricanes, and this is much more efficient for keeping devices charged than tiny bricks that only hold 1-2 hours of charge.  I want to buy this as a gift for everyone I know!.   usually with a dead battery you will still hear the cylinoid try to engage or a click or some lights come on, but this time it was absolutely nothing at all.

We have a very old 2002 jeep liberty.  3. I wish the light was a little brighter on the model I purchased, but, otherwise I really like this product and it works really well.  I was very doubtful this would work, but I put it on and used the safety feature, and it stared the car!  I am flabbergasted.  The battery was completely flat, not even enough power to turn on the digital clock.

This was a Christmas gift, the person appears to really like it. My mechanic used one like this,He recommended.

Easy to store in car.  A nice guy passing by used his jumper cables to start my car instead but it did take more effort, so idk if my car's problems are just beyond the scope of this product, or if the product is defective or too weak. Very compact.

I have bought 3.  One for everyone in my family. This has came in handy many times.  Very reliable, you can get more than one jump out of just one charge and comes with a handy built in flash light along with a car charger.  In case of an emergency you can also charge your phone from it. So far have used it twice and it was so easy! Does not take up much space which is also nice!.

No more carrying around jumping cables, hook them up turn it on wait for it to analyze and start it up. It is like TnT, small but does the job.  Best money I spent. All was good.

I have a 2020 Fiat 124 Spider with a 1. 4 liter engine.   It had been garaged for the winter, leading to a dead battery. . no lights, nothing. The GB40 worked well for me.  I measured it with a multimeter and, yes, it was under 2 amps.   Hence, I had to use the "red-circled !" feature.   With that, it started fine.   Nice to be able to do your own personalized AAA service call.  It keeps the charge for ever.

As a person who makes a living doing jump starts, I recommend getting one of these in every vehicle you own. I have done roadside assistance and towing for about 25 years now. Small in size but has plenty of charge to get you going.  Mostly it they slide off a seat in my truck and fall onto the charging cord and the USB port is toast.  This unit has had similar falls in my truck, and has now outlasted 4 charging cables but is still doing fine.  I LOVE this jump pack! It is by far the most powerful boost kit I have used in the under $250 range!I have used many different jump start packs over the years, and have had  less than spectacular results with USB charged units.

Very easy to use and charged up the battery within seconds.  No more asking strangers for a jump.  Those days are over.  Worth every dime!. The battery is still within its lifespan, and it tested well at AutoZone, so imagine my surprise when it had start up issues a few times.

It holds a charge for a long time and is very effective.  I have easily gone 3-6 months after charging it and then using it and it works perfectly each time. I have had similar experiences with other strangers or friends needing a jump start except it is 10x more convenient having a small handheld vs parking etc. This thing is awesome. I am not sure if it is the best 100$ I have ever spent but it certainly is in the top 5. Even with the small size, it started my car with a dead battery instantly.

Never jumped started a car in my life.   The only thing I know about cars is where to put the gas.   Then my battery died.   I had to do it again the next day with out recharging the charger.   Car started right up.   Did not have to call AAA.   I was very happyThe only down side is the owners manual.   Instructions were very small and hard to read, even with my cheaters.   How could something charged by a usb cable have enough power in it to start a car?  It worked so well for my one son and his car that I bought another for my other son when he got a car.

Especially if you spend a lot of time in the woods when no one's around to Jump you. Like this product so much that bought a second.   My son bought one first and had used it several times when he had some battery charging issues. at first thought it was a toy and would not have the guts, but it cranked a totally dead  truck as if new battery was installed.  For any Subaru owners it is a great item to have for some vehicles with battery challenges.  It is great to have when you are out in the woods and no one is around.

The Noco is far superior to the Duracell product, it is faster, and it is easier to use.   To be honest I was not sure I was not.  I hook it up, turn it on, the status lights start chasing to let me know I hooked everything up right, and voila, the engine revs to life.  One time the battery was really dead and it was so nice having the override option to charge life into the super dead battery. Since we have one car with a battery that dies every time the temp dips into the single digits… and we have had a few this winter… I can say this product is a lifesaver.

I just used this starter to jump start my old Honda Odyssey that had been left sitting for way too long.  Apparently the battery was completely drained, and it would not even register with the starter pack.  The instructions said to use the Boost feature, which we did.  Worked right away! You should have seen all three of us jump back, arms flailing, and everyone squealing as the horn started blaring, lol.  I am back to order another one for our other van. This jumper saved my time for help on weekends. Great product, started my ranch truck that had a battery that was completely dead.  I used this several times until I noticed the old battery problem and replaced that. My car's battery was too old.

Works like a charm, no need for bulky cables and trying how you are going to reach both batteries in the garage.  One use pays for a service call. This is a "must have" in your car. I have used and seen quite a few booster and this one is far more superior  than others I have used.

I am usually am only driving out of town and my Jeep Wrangler battery died on me so I used it for the first time and it got me out.  Charges phone okay.

We bought this to jumpstart our car when the battery was failing.   It is VERY easy to use, and is pretty much idiot-proof.   Connect the leads, turn it on.   When you hook it up right, you get a very reassuring white LED light.   Then start the car.   Boom, done. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the clamps require a good bit of hand strength to open, and may be very difficult to use for people with smaller or weaker hands or for people with certain disabilities. I have a 2009 h3 battery die due to lack of use doing covid.

You can be a Good Samaritan in under 5 minutes. Battery in my car died in a pull in garage in a condo - that is to say the only way in is the garage door and so no way to pull a car adjacent and use jumper cables - had been putting off spending the money and picking one of these up and this was the time.   Arrived quick - charged over night - and was the easiest jump of a car ever.  Turns out a buddy's 6.   Very safe - little change of even getting your hands dirty.   Glad I now have it stowed in the car and available for the next time.

This thing is great!  It has saved my bacon several times. Bought this for my daughter.  She leaves her radio on too long and wears down her battery.  Now she can jump start it herself.

Not a single light not a single door ding. Been using it for over a year now.   Put the noco on and it fired right up.   Started everything from a 2. 4 toa 5.  Got it pulled to the house and charged up the battery and all is good now.  It brought my 5.  I have one in my car and the wife's.  Replaced the starter battery was DEAD DEAD.  Maybe 15-20 times.   Thinking about getting one for the shop I work at that everyone can just use and leave there. 7 hemi back from sitting over a month when the starter went out.  Filling up the gas tank the kid in front of me needed a jump. 7 with no problems.

Completely dead battery, someone left a light on.   Had to use the emergency bypass since it would not detect the battery, below 2 volts.   Car started with no problems. 2012 Lexus LS 460.   We have also jumped our boat with it.

I like the fact that, not only can you jump the boat  or a car for that matter  but that it also has a light and USB port for charging a phone. I bought this to carry in my boat because all my electronics are connected to my starting battery. I purchased this as a component in my emergency kit for my boat.

My Ford Transit Connect starts at 850 amps and it works perfectly. This is a great little “just in case” device to have in your car.  You only need it once and it pays for itself in convenience.  It is very easy to use and It is small size fits nicely in a small space like a glovebox although mine sit behind the passenger seat on my van.  Even if you think you have a “small car” check your crank amperage and get the model appropriate for your car.  On my car the negative lead on the battery is not easy to get to so I had to use my jumper cables to extent the negative lead to a ground point.  While the light is OK it works but I would not call it great.  My wife's Jeep, for example, cranks at 1000amps, and while this worked, I got the next size up for her to keep in her car.  That said, here is the a word of caution.  This is the 1000 amp version, they sale many at different amperage's.  So yeah, it really works! I am gonna buy another one for my other car.  It does use an USB to charge which does take a while but once charged mine has been sitting in my van for at least three months and I took it out to jump someone else and it was still a full charge.  It does have short leads but if you can get to both terminals on your battery then they are more that long enough.

Damn thang good dude even good for large battery.   No problems starting when the battery was not strong enough to start the car by itself.

We both have AAA, but this was much faster.   I just wish it came with the protective case that is being sold separately.   Needs of course to be charged before first use, either via wall outlet or your car lighter per included adapter.  Despite being very compact, once the jump starter was connected his car started immediately.  Said to be good for many starts after just one charge.  Well worth the peace of mind, especially on road trips.  The price was reasonable but goes lower during sales events.   Also once you charge it to 100% it holds up for about 3-4 months before it shows 75%.

I did have to switch over to manual override because the car battery was so dead. The device is well made and rugged.  It worked great.   Car battery was completely dead.  Attached the Booster and it started right up.  It also has a light on it which makes it easy to connect at night.  It comes with a cloth bag to store it but I am leaving it in the sturdy box it came in.  This is definitely a BUY in my opinion.  I just bought 3 more for Christmas gifts for my children.

It is always good to keep one of these in your trunk you never know when your going to need a jump this product is well worth the money..

The starter came to the rescue. I have not had to use this yet but love the compact design.  It fits easily under the car seat.  I will not be stranded !.

I think it is mainly that the technology has gotten better. I work from home a lot and had not driven my car for a few weeks.  Also, my young son like playing with my interior light buttons so i think he had left a couple on.  This one seems to work better than the old one did even when it was new.  My wife was out with her car and I needed to get moving quick to get to daycare on time before they start charging their fun $15 every 5 minutes late fee.  Use it once and it is paid for itself and more! I now have one in both vehicles just in case!.  Connected it up easily, waited a few moments and then my car started right up! I had another one of these type of jump starters that I had had for a few years and it was not as reliable anymore.  I went to my car and the battery was dead. I think I could help my wife use this device on a cell phone call.  I had just gotten this jump starter a few days earlier and had charged it up.

A decent set of jumpers have heavy gauge wire and can be hard to manipulate in cold weather, and you have to get the car that is providing the jump parked close enough to the one with the dead battery.   And if it is your own battery that is dead, you have to find a jump donor.   This device is smaller than box of Kleenex. I have had jumper cables for decades.   Unlike cables, It has a sensor to prevent crossing the positive & negative sides.   First time I used it, it had been in my trunk for a month and it was 15 F.  It started  a 4-cylinder engine and retained more than 3/4ths of its charge.   It comes with a USB charging cable and recharges quickly from a USB port. Coincidentally, the day after I bought it my battery did actually die.  I followed the easy instructions, hooked it up to my four-year-old 4Runner battery, waited about 30 seconds and then BAM! Sadly a month after I bought mine, it got stolen from my work toolbox. The Noco Boost plus is a really great item to own.  really great product for a lot of electric emergency situations.  it helped me a lot during the time I needed it best. But happy to report that the Noco picks up the slack where the Imazing failed.

more than worth it.  We have been having problems with our battery, or something.  Eventually we will get the battery situation figured out but until then we get the put this product to the test. Less than 6 hours after giving this as a gift to my daughter, her car battery died.  Naturally, she had left the jumper at home, so I still had to go rescue her, but at least we had the foresight to immediately plug it in to charge, and this gave her a chance to learn to use it.  And it worked great! Far easier than jumper cables, and she can not mess it up, or have to find a stranger willing to give her a jump.  She misunderstood my instruction and turned her car off immediately after it started, but no worries - the jumper started it again and still had plenty of charge for more. Timeliness aside, I am very happy with this purchase.  It did exactly what I expected and is pretty foolproof for a new driver.  The battery holds enough for multiple jumps, which is important if you have a bad alternator and do not have the option to go directly to a mechanic.  The only potential issues I saw are 1  the clamps are pretty hard for her to operate, maybe too difficult for some, but at the same time, they held the terminals very securely - better than jumper cables I have used in the past, and 2  the LEDs when jumping are just a little confusing.  There is a lot going on there that seems unnecessary.  A single green LED that means "ready to start engine" and a red one that indicates an error in hooking it up, without all the flashing battery strength indicators, would be a more intuitive approach. This NZCO Boost Plus is the cats ass! So easy to use! I start everyone's dead battery.

Had to buy a hard-carry-case separately  $24 . I suggest keeping one of these in the vehicle at all times, especially if the vehicle battery is older than 4 years and vehicle is not driven much. 8L engine three times without any problems, with a lot of power left over on the GB40. Check and ensure that the GB40 is fully charged after a few uses, or recharge once a year to ensure that it has sufficient power to start a vehicle when you least expect a problem. No regrets having bought this device. For  6 and 8 -cylinder gasoline engines, GB40 is good enough. This has saved us so many times!.

Buy one, store it on/in your vehicle and know your not going to be stranded on the side of the road because of a failing battery. I have Noco products for my boat,motorcycle and truck.  They all work incredible and this jumper is perfect for a truck.  Quality products worth the price.

I bought this for use at my job and it is awesome.  I have had to jump 4 cars and 3 SUV's in one week and it still had a full charge. I also ordered the carrying case for it which keeps everything neat and organized very nicely.   You definitely will not be disappointed. I have used and seen quite a few booster and this one is far more superior  than others I have used.

I bought this because the description said it starts a dead battery. the reason I have nothing to dislike about it and the reason I like it is it did what it was supposed to and the instructions were easy to follow.

Clear directions, easy to use, and works great!. I purchased this as twice my battery on two different cars went dead where you could not easily get to it with jumper cables.  This thing? 10 seconds and the car was running.

BUT that being said, I am now more than confident it will work perfectly on my 6 cylinder Acura when the inevitable comes. Can not recommend it highly enough. I recommend. My sport civic battery failed in my garage where I could not get a jump; thankfully I was able to get free same day shipping. I was able to use it easily, without issue.  Comes with short cables and a pouch to carry it all in.  The battery died when I was at the dump so I actually hooked this up to it and it lifted about 1. Stuff like this should replace jumper cables in roadside kits so you can quickly take care of the problem instead of calling for a jump.  Its small enough to put under my seat for future problems if necessary.

My big truck started right up!. Unlike other Battery chargers like Stanley, they are heavy,I have disabilities and this is lite weight and easy to use. I charged it once and used it twice.

I have tried other battery boosters with no luck, but after hooking this up and leaving it for a minute, the startup was smooth!. She even had a chance to use the safety override button, which allows the terminals to go live even when they cannot detect a voltage on the clamps because the car battery is too low. Used it on my Subaru 2004 outback.

I should have bought one for each of our vehicles. I bought this for my husband and son for Christmas and they were absolutely blown away by this product. I am usually am only driving out of town and my Jeep Wrangler battery died on me so I used it for the first time and it got me out.   He went back with this jump box and it within minutes the truck was up and running.   Amazing, his only complaint. . .   My husband has an 08 Chevy truck and we tried jumping it with regular cables, it did nothing.

Worked so well on our UTV that my stepdad said I need one of those.  So I got him one for Christmas.  I have used it on the lawnmower to the truck.  Forget jumper cables, get this Noco boost plus for every vehicle and never worry about a dead battery. Nothing to dislike from the this Noco boost pack. Well it happened, dead battery.

Simple to use.  Only issue is the power pack and parts are carried in a flimsy cloth bag. Have used it several times jumping off vehicles and has worked every time..

This has been a lifesaver while I try to find the drain. I have used this several times in a bunch of different situations and it is never let me down yet.  In fact this week it saved my bacon AGAIN when my battery died in super cold weather, and I needed to get stuff done.   It is surprisingly tough and, as an electronics nerd, I am also impressed at how well Noco did at getting the little details right.  The clamps themselves are actually the nicest pair of high current DC clamps I have ever used on any device.  The only thing I would caution is to read the sizing information carefully, while I have jumped a big v8 with this before, it was pushing my luck pretty far.  If you will use it a lot or need to start big engines, look into its larger brother.  This one is perfect for regular cars, though, and it is small enough you can definitely find somewhere to stow it in your car.

My husband uses his for work being a mechanic.  They have a light and can charge phones and jump vehicles.  It was a 5.  I have used them for friends and family's vehicles as well.

As I assisted a couple of people starting their vehicles I got the skeptical look like "oh yeah where the rest of it?" But after they started it they were like "what is that?" Great tool. Perfect when you need to jump your car alone.

Then my son was having what he considered to be an electrical issue with his Honda Civic.  He was about to have it towed to the Honda dealer.  I am amazed at how well it works.  I took this over and his car started instantly.  But her car started as if from a brand new battery.   Side note: my other son had an issue with HIS 2019 Honda battery as well.  Do not get me wrong, I love my Hondas, but their batteries absolutely suck. I am VERY happy with this purchase. It was super easy to follow the directions and jump-start my car. Loved it, I have had to use it a few times already on other people's vehicles, works like a charm, no issues.

I needed a jump starter for a Honda Odyssey where the battery checked o. k.  at the dealership but always failed to start the car.  At first I was surprised it did not start the car so I did some additional research and found the safety features need to detect some current from the connected battery.  As I later learned, my third party backup camera was constantly drawing power even when the car was not on, so the battery was always completely drained. I purchased this after reading extensive reviews.  Sure enough, once I disabled the safety features, the Odyssey started right up.  I have used this to start the car three times and counting before a recharge, so I am completely happy with the product.  In fact, just purchased one for my daughter who lives far away. Period.  I have nothing else to fluff this review.  This does the job.  It does what it says it does. I started a V8 Mustang 3 times, a 5CYL Hummer H3 4 times - all in a single charge.  It did charge my phone when it died though.

It was easy to use, I am no longer concerned about my daughters having to ask a stranger to help them jump their car battery if and when it is necessary. It is light compact and works good.  Recommend purchasing as emergency use item and I will probably purchase another for my daughter as I see this as safer than her having to ask a stranger for a jump or wait in a dark park like I did for help to arrive.

The device still showed full charge. My wife & I faithfully observed the COVID-19 lockdown.  Stayed in the house, had everything delivered.  A few days later, the Ford battery was dead again  I did not bother trying to charge it by driving the car around  - used the GB40 - again, started first time.  Nope.  Click click, nothing else.  Decided to drive our old Ford Expedition up alongside it, to jump-start it.  But the Ford battery was dead, too.  Very impressed.  It arrived the next day, so I immediately gave it a full charge, using a microUSB cable plugged into a USB hub on my computer.  Then, out to the Mazda.  Attached the cables, turned the device on.  The indicator lights looked as expected. Charged and used, took only seconds to power a dead battery. The safety features are superb; you can not even turn it on unless you have got the cables hooked up right way around, and because you do not turn it on UNTIL everything's hooked up right, there are no sparks. I never would have expected a new car battery to fail in less than a year but it did. First snow storm of the year and had a dead battery! Had purchased this and received on a Sunday and used on that Monday .  Saved me time and energy from having to jump start the old fashioned way. My daughter lives far away and I push her to take care of her car and know what to do when the unknown happens.

My car has been having issues for weeks and my mechanic has been out. This may be small but powerful.  Within 3 hours of it being delivered it paid for itself since I have used all of my roadside assistance for the 6 month period I paid $95 yesterday and the guy told me to get one of these.  Paid for itself the very first day.  Check the charge on this thing every 6 months or so, or just recharge it after it is been used a couple times.

Hooked this jumper right up and started my car almost instantly!!Great product. Got this a couple of weeks ago for emergencies and then a massive winter storm came in and killed my battery completely. This is a must have product in your vehicle.

Tried again and the engine started.  Highly recommend this product.  The battery was totally dead.  So I tried charging the battery twice and each time it would almost start the engine but then fail and shut off.  It stays plugged into my car and charges when i drive and is ready and available when I need it. Had not driven my 2016 corolla for like 6 months.  So I put the charger back on for 10 minutes and waited.

Before this, I primarily used it as a battery bank for my mobile devices  $100 jumper box, versus $60 power bank; mmm, decisions ; when work provides you with the 'cheapest' vehicle on the lot, it is going to have issues and you sometimes do not know how bad something is until it blows up in your face. I was skeptical that this would work for my car. Backed it in just in case I needed a jump. I have had this product for quite some time.  Got in my truck, dead as a hammer.  Put the GB40 back on, it cranked right up.  These trucks have a lot of electronics and big batteries.  I drove over to have a new battery put in.  I have used this in the past to charge a phone, and with the thoughts of perhaps jump starting one of many smaller cars my nieces drive, but never really my own.  It was the original battery.  The light on this is very bright.  I originally bought it because of my brothers kids second hand cars.  The power is strong enough to cold crank a large truck battery.  The one thing I have noticed is when charging it seems to charge better through my laptop than a USB type plug in.  My fault.  But the charge holds for a very long time.  Great product.  It was stone cold dead.  I highly recommend it.  Yesterday after this having sat around at least 8 months without having been connected to any charging source I went to crank my GMC Sierra SLT 8 cylinder , headed to the doctors office.  Especially if you live by yourself.  And even more so nowadays.  Anyway I plugged this little jumpstart onto it, and within a few seconds I am cranked up and headed to my appointment.  No need for jumper cables.

The battery died. Battery in my edge goes fully dead randomly.  Hook this thing up and it gets it started.  I am rather impressed because the jump pack is so small.  FYI: if your battery is 100% dead, read the manual.  There is a feature that allows the pack to know it is hooked up.

It holds its charge for very long time. I used this to revive a dead battery in a lawn tractor. This thing is perfect for when your battery unexpectedly dies.   Worked like a charm.

After selecting the override feature, it allowed a start of that car as well.   Therefore I just bought 4 more of these devices, one for each of my kids for their cars for christmas.   I keep one of these in my car year around with no issues of draining.   I have had it a couple of years now and it still holds it is charge and has the power to crank my 5. 7 Liter Dodge RAM Hemi, with very little drop in charge  from 100% it drops to maybe 93% .  I will update if I come across anything new but so far the product is great and well worth it. I like the override feature because one time my daughter's Prius was dead-dead.  it gets pretty cold here in the winter.   I figure it could probably start it again and again  if i was an idiot enough to need to  without recharging maybe 8 times.

So anyway I took it out of the box and went step by step over what she should do if her car battery ever died.   She said,  Wow that is not hard at all.   Let me start off by saying my mom is not a big technical kind of person so I was a bit hesitant to buy this for her but after a bunch of research on this product I decided to purchase it.    Moms are funny what can I say?  Well a few days later she called me and said that her car battery died and the boost started her vehicle!!!!  She was very happy she learned how to use it and she also liked that it could charge her mobile devices on the go.   I knew I should have set it up for her at Christmas but hey I have a wife and 4 kids and I did not have time for that on Christmas morning.   I felt like I had done a pretty good job as a son because my mother was not stranded with a broken down car that day .   Once I gave it to her she let it sit in her car for a month! lol  I asked her why and she just said that it looked to complicated to use.   Great product and I will buy again. Got this for my 60 year old mother for Christmas and it was a big hit. I often need to jump start one of my cars because I do not drive it frequently enough.

Bought another one because it is so handy and reliable. I bought one, loved it.  Loaned it to a coworker in need AND I got it back.  Just bought another one for our other car.  They are dead simple, lightweight, and self-sufficient.  Lost it when I forgot to take it out of a car I sold.  I do not even carry jumper cables anymore.  Check the charge on this thing every 6 months or so, or just recharge it after it is been used a couple times.  It is also light and able to fit in my purse.

It is truly amazing how much power these have.   If you have a boat, you should def have one. Bought for my dads as a gift but he used it to jump the battery in a Toyota Land Cruiser when it was totally dead.

I bought this as a precaution because my battery was having trouble.  It was a good thing I did because on my way back from Florida my bike's battery did not have enough juice to turn over.   Quick connection and it started right up on the second attempt. I had overnighted and tried it on my car battery this morning that has been dead for like 2 weeks and it started right up! I love when things just work as advertised!.

I bought this because it has many uses like charging my cell phone, i like to be prepared, I dont want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere at night, working nightshifts and have to wait for vehicle to come help me in a cold winter.   I just moved to a new state, I work in the middle of nowhere driving past woods and farm for an hour.   Also where i work has alot of bad neighborhoods.   I Jumped started 4 vehicles in the last three. months that needed help, the last one was an old couple with some expensive jeep.   They gave me 20 dollars i refused but they insisted, haha but I had the 1000 amp for my 2014 tacoma, i cant afford the 2000amp hehe one day maybe for my sons vehicle.   If you have kids its a must.   They dont need to be stuck at night somewhere after a party.

There was absolutely no sign of life in the electrical system, pushed override. .  GB40 arrived late by  same day.  boom powered right up.   Left overheads on for 5 days.   Not sure on battery life, but I am buying another one for my wife's car. .  plugged in this morning at 4am to charge and had Tahoe rung by 6 am. Great product!. I was skeptical that this little pack would jump start my Mazda 6 V6, but it did just that on the first try. Not a thing to dislike.  Every time I shut the car off, I needed a jump to get going again.  Definitely worth the money and not the hassle of traditional jumper cables.  I had to use it multiple times in one day until I could get to the shop to buy a new battery.

Then it jumped the car again to go to the auto parts store for a new battery.  1 for 1.  Did not realize the battery was bad until I had to stop for gas and it did not start again.  Jump pack started it back up and got me home.  Jumped my car and drove the 30 minutes home and charged the jump pack on the way home.

It is a great size and very handy.  I am very happy to have it!.  I can recharge my cellphone with this and so many other things not to mention… it will start my car.  I hooked up directly to the dead battery,  turned it on and do not forget press the ! It was quick and easy. I ordered this Jump Starter and within a week I had used it twice, once for a car battery and once for a riding lawn mower battery.  I wish I had bought one sooner!.  Both cranked immediately after sending a charge. Looks like should be great, not yet used but feel happy knowing it is in the car! Better than just jumper cables!.

Not going to help if completely dead,but great for that boost. It a great device to use.  I have been using it several times, when my mom car shuts off she use this device to connect to the car and wait for 5 seconds and the car turn on and ready to go, it is amazing tool for a good use, great lighting for the dark to where I can walk safely, can be use more than one time to charge up the car, so I highly recommend it to anyone that buy this device.

Here's a product that I never knew existed, but now I think everyone should have one in their car.   Everyone experiences a flat battery at least a few times, and most people are not the type to keep jumper cables in the car, and even if they did they would be hesitant to ask someone for help.   This device removes the need for cables or another car, and it is only about the size of a pack of butter.   Would make a great gift for anyone without one.   If the idea of attaching cables to a battery makes you nervous because you worry about what will happen if you get it wrong: this thing tells you if you connect it the wrong way around, so messing up is impossible. Love this product, so easy to use and extremely powerful.

She does have regular jumper cables but this works when she cannot have a coworker or someone she knows assist. We have already used this three times for our children's vehicles and love it.

They put the battery and fuse box in the trunk of a BMW X6 under an electronic trunk.   When the battery dies, there is absolutely no clean way of popping the truck.   When the battery dies and still has enough charge, it will sound the car alarm repeatedly until it dies.   This battery charger did the trick without the need to jump start from another car, risking fried electronic modules like the IBS.   That is why the German engineers hid the primary battery in the trunk along with a bunch of modules. I am glad I went ahead and spent the extra to get this model. Tried to start my car this afternoon and it would not. I live in Minnesota and my car hates the cold.   Hooked up this little gem and wow! With -27 real temp, this was a godsend and a must have for every home!. My car was sitting in my garage for two months and the battery did not register any voltage at all.   I first tried the start option without any result.  A great compact power house.

We take long road trips so I purchased a GB40 in 2018 on Black Friday, just in case.  I charged the unit and it set waiting for several years.  A friend had a current leakage problem with an older van, so I gave him the unit and it worked 5 times flawlessly.  Just last month on the coldest day of the year, the battery could not start my 2016 SUV. My cars are newer models but my motorcycles are older.  My friend brought the GB40 over on the way to work, it immediately started the SUV and off I went to the dealer for a new battery.  I could have waited a couple hours for a jump from roadside service, but I think I will just buy another GB40.  Based on some of the reviews, I will review whether it is wise to keep the unit  with its lithium battery  in the vehicle in extreme weather.  The battery was so dead that I used the override and it started the car right up.

I would feel better storing this in something that offered a little more protection. I have had the bigger version of this for a few years.  Thankfully, I had not had to use it until recently, but it was nice having it in the van ready to roll.  In the past month, I have had to make use of it maybe half a dozen times, and it works flawlessly every single time. My son has something similar to this and it worked on my car a few weeks ago.  Wonderful product! If I could, I had buy one for all the drivers I know.  I had other chargers that gave out on me after a few months, or needed constant recharging, but this one seems to hold the charge forever and just gets the job done every time.  I have no worries that this version will work just as well.

The way Suburban  and Silverado  batteries are, we needed clips with minimal plastic on them. So this unit worked great - our battery was below 2 volts, so we used the manual override to start it.  Did not have to let it sit at all; just started the unit, then I went and started the Suburban and - IT STARTED. We needed to jump start our Suburban even though we got a new battery a few weeks ago - guessing there is something going on.  My husband was very happy with the unit  which I bought without his input because he was having one of those weeks and would not have been up to giving input .  It is small, it is easy to use, the clips attached just fine, the manual is good, the lights on the face are easy to see and yes - LOVE THIS.  No more embarrassing Triple A calls to jump start us!Did I mention it is small? Such a change from the last one I bought in 2012.  We wanted to see if we could jump start it before making an appt or if it was going to need to be towed. . .  There is some Youtube videos out there to explain how to use, but it is only takes about 30 seconds to watch and learn it.

Very light weight and it works really good.  I used it a few time on a single charge and it jumps your vehicle with no problem. I like this product.  Wonderful product! If I could, I had buy one for all the drivers I know.

What I like about this product is that it could actually jump start my car.  My car has been dead for a couple weeks and I wanted to jump it to move it and I was very surprised.  I also like how it is portable and can charge my phone. Bought this for my Sienna but powerful enough for my Dodge Ram truck.

I use this to jump start cars and help people out when they need a jump, I do not have to use my truck battery to jump other vehicle.  So compact, easy to keep the unit in the car as mobile security for sure.

I used to have a lead acid jump starter - it never was charged when needed and it never worked.  I have used this several times  cars were always needing jump since not getting used .  It is held its charge for at least 6 months.  It works immediately  no need to wait for it to charge the car battery .  I started 2 cars and it barely changed its charge.  Very helpful and worth having in the car.  I have been giving it as gifts to others now. For months my battery was dead  I pressed on the override button a couple of seconds since it was so dead . On the second turn it started right up ! I will give another review in a few months to see if it is still working good I fully charged unit before using it . I like the portability I like that it worked it jumped my bmw x5 3.  I would recommend it as a gift for family .  You do need to know about the override button n watch a video how how to use it so your familiar on the features .  If your battery still has some juice left you do not need to use the override  I will give it a go again I' did not let my car run long enough for it to be charged up I will use it a second time without the override feature and give the results Soon .   No joke so far love this product..

I will never be without this in my car. I bought this after getting stuck at work for hours waiting on roadside assistance to jump my car.  The battery was completely dead.  It happened again where I needed a jump but had this with me.

Also very portable and has jumped vehicles probably 5 times of the one charge, while sitting in the car in below freezing temps all month.   That was a little bit of a problem for the Prius C, which does not have the "usual" battery placement.  Through this on, hit the bridge button and boom, cars running again. Mainly bought this for the "bridging" feature where it does not try to smart detect a battery.

Also, the port covers become brittle and break off when it is cold outside. Love this thing but it tends to act funny when it is kept in the cold truck. 9 Cummins were completely dead.

It works for me.  So much easier to use than jumper cables and a fully charged unit is good for 3-4 starts.   This booster has strong narrow tips to allow accessing the battery which is in a hard to get to place due to modifications. I needed a jumpstarter for my Kawasaki Teryx that has lost its charging capability.

the instructions could be more clear but overall they can be followed.   If attached as instructed works great. Works as described.   I have started large v-8's with dead batteries with no problem.   Please think about where you will store it.   Understand it is a battery itself and can NOT be stored inside your hot car. . .  do not store it in the vehicle. . This is will be THE present to get family and friends this year.

It does not look like much but it is great if you do not need to keep cranking something over and over. I bought this in 2018 and have not used it much. 7L hemi at all. 7L with no lag.

But after reading the instructions  imagine that , the device may not recognize you have hooked it up to a battery if the battery is completely flat and will not make the circuit. These pack a punch.   You can charge it in your vehicle on the go or at home.  It is also designed where you can not make a mistake.  You can hook it up backwards and it has safety built in where it will not hurt anything.  Hands down the best.   Small convenient and works great.  Also works as a flash light  You should get several jumps per charge.

My car battery was dead for about 3 weeks and it took one try and it started up in 2 seconds!  I used the boost  I am a 73 year old woman and I highly recommend this product. I looked into this item - and many others. was able to start the car.  I had no idea what I was doing - but it did not matter because it was so easy.  I have been having problems starting my car and I got tired of calling AAA or asking my brother for help.

Nothing is better than jumper cables to do the job but this did the job a few times when I needed it. I have a Ford Transit work van that needed a battery because the side door would not close completely, and it would cause the battery to run down.   Usually with 99% success.   My old booster pack with the old big lead acid battery was useless, so I decided to bite the bullet and get one of these.   I ordered it over Christmas when I was out of state.  The hang up seems to be the condition of the vehicle battery.   Before I brought out the old battery charger, I decided to put this to the test.   The van battery was so dead that I had to use the bypass on this to get it to turn on.   It performs fine on just an average low battery, like if lights were left on but the battery is otherwise good.   I do suspect that the batteries in these are designed to fast-charge a vehicle battery instead of directly providing the current needed to crank an engine, it seems to work better after it has a minute or so after being turned on.   but if the battery has been sitting dead for so long that it will not take a charge  months , this seems to be the only situation where it falls short.   I still carry good jumper cables as a backup or in case I need to start someone else with a larger engine.   The past week or two, the battery would run down just during service calls.   That is not really a normal scenario though, you should not let your battery sit dead because it gets ruined very quickly.  Once I did, the van cranked right up.   I just bought a second one to keep in my car as well. This thing is perfect for when your battery unexpectedly dies.   When I got back home, the battery in that van was cold and flat dead.

Liked everything portable and charges fast. I have another unit similar to this.  I thought that one was easy, this is even easier!The only draw back is that the clamps for the car jumper are really stiff.  Maybe they will ease with time.

My car's battery was very dead, to the point where the unit did not recognize the battery, so I had to use the manual override button.   Piece of cake -- hit the button and my car started right up.   Also worth noting that this was very easy to accomplish by just one person, whereas car-to-car jump starting is usually a multi-person operation, so very worthwhile to have this unit stashed in your vehicle charged up and ready to go.   Cables could be a bit longer, but every jump start unit seems to have short-ish cables.   They were long enough to connect the unit to my positive terminal and ground, and leave the main unit laying flat and stable atop the battery, so that I could leave it unattended to start the car. I should start by stating that I have only needed to use this once. I read multiple reviews stating that the unit would not charge to 100% without connecting it to the cigarette lighter of a running vehicle to complete charging from 75% to 100%.   I was able to charge it fully by simply connecting it to my computer's USB for a couple of hours  using the provided connector  so if those reviews put you off choosing this unit, take them with a large grain of salt. Great jump box would highly recommend.

Told us it was an electrical drain in the vehicle and would keep happening and would need to be looked at by a dealership. We had been having issues for months with our Bolkswagen Routan.  I said, what can I do in the meantime I do not want to keep calling for a tow.  After calling roadside assistance once and purchasing a brand new battery we thought our issues were done.  He suggested this model NocoBoostPlus.  He was super honest….  Was able to have it boosted and saw he had one of these cool power packs. said he would had his booster for 2 years worked fine on most jumps unless the batteries were all dead.  Luckily enough for us, the owner was super helpful and honest. until one day he had a tow driver wxplain the RED BUTTON SUPER BOOST!!! Turns out he would never fully read the instructions and was not aware of this perk!!! He fully recommends this model to anyone who asks now!!! Bought ours and happy to say….  3 weeks later, even on the new battery, same issue. it came in extremely handy while we tried to save up enough to replace the van.  Another month later happened again!…called roadside this time the attendant did not have a pack and had to have our van towed to a local shop.  Glad to say we have just done that.  Called roadside again.  But I will make sure this gadget is always fully charged for any emergencies and comes in super handy as a back up charger for long road trips for hand held devices!!!!! Glad we got this!!! 100% recommend!!!!.  Would die…not just dead but fully dead, unexpectedly and not too infrequently. Received the unit charged it overnight.

Turned out the battery had failed so a new one was installed.  I no longer have to worry about finding someone who can help me.  This unit jumpstarted a battery that was drained.  I already had the smaller unit and cables but really do not need them now with this new unit. I have a smaller portable jumpstart unit but it will not help if the battery is less than 50% drained.   It is easy to use and takes up very little space in my car.  Because of it I was able to jump it I was able to go and get the car fixed.  There is some Youtube videos out there to explain how to use, but it is only takes about 30 seconds to watch and learn it.

I consider this heavy duty jump pack a must have for anyone with 4 wheels.  It failed me in the field multiple times.  Enough was enough! I ordered the Noco with a bit of hesitation after having spent $70 on a piece of junk from Imazing. Worked as advertised and easy to use. But happy to report that the Noco picks up the slack where the Imazing failed.

Went to leave out one morning for work and my car would not start I hooked this up well not me my brother hooked it up to my battery and within 5 minutes I was off to work---> I wanted my car to run for a few minutes before I left for work. I recently purchased just to have in my car for convenience you know just in case scenarios.  It literally started my car instantly.  because I needed it sooner than I thought.  This has been a great help.  I am glad that I purchased it and charged it and put in my car.

It will not send power if it detects a wiring fault or that you have connected the cables to the wrong terminals. Even with the small size, it started my car with a dead battery instantly.

User manual says, booster option to be used when battery is under 2 Volt which was not the case. I was wondering whether it would be able start an SUV  4.  Battery was over 2 V, but it did not start with the regular jump.  It did with the booster.  Small jumper with a pretty good punch. Convenient, easy to use, I really like it!. 0 L, V6 engine  with a totally dead battery  just over 2V.

Wow does this beat lifting a huge heavy jump box.  My son bought 4 of us one for a gift because we all travel.  Funny thing I got back to the airport and my truck was dead.  One of the best presents I have ever got that I needed!. Small in size yet strong enough to jump my truck.   And comes in handy during power outages.

Keep in mind it does not have endless power so make sure you leave cables connected for a couple minutes before trying to start your vehicle.   Jumps cars very well. 5 liter V-6.   Hold a charge for months.

I never seriously considered these devices because how could something so small possibly work? But it did, first try, like a champ! I bought one for each of our cars. I bought this after my 2015 Toyota Highlander's battery died  It was 7 years old so no surprise  and I needed a jump.  You must fully charge it out of the box.   Also, from what I have read online you should charge it fully every six months.  A fellow shopper had one and wanted to try it. After installing my dashcam, I have left it on several times unknowingly and have killed my battery down to just about nothing… as I had to use the actual key to open the door due to dead battery.

I realized I needed one of these in my winter car kit. Late to the review game, but I bought this little jump starter a few years ago after my battery died in my car due to the stupidly cold weather I live in and me forgetting to start my car more than once a week, even when the temp drops into the -20s.  Highly recommend!.  Someone in my apartment building saw us struggling and pulled out a starter out of her truck that worked wonders. Glad I bought this one. Starts my V8 Hemi 5. Bought it For my Subaru just in case, but husband borrowed it to take on a hunting trip in case one of the ATVs died.  Turns out a buddy's 6. 6 L diesel truck was dead and this thing started it.  Awesome!.

Pulled out the Noco, inserted the charger cables, oriented the cables to the polarity, turned it on, saw the lights flash, turned the key once and the engine kicked over! Got this unit back in August, fully charged it, stored it for when I needed it.  Thanks, Noco, for making it easy, fast, logical, and giving me confidence in quickly jumping batteries!.  That came today when I went out to start our Toyota Sequoia and just got the rattle of a bead battery.   Once mine arrived, I was even more impressed with the things.

This thing started my car in 25 seconds after the battery being completely dead. The noco boost plus GB40 is an absolute NEED.  After about a minute or two I took it off my battery and my car ran fine.   I have a 2012 4-cylinder car, so this was more than enough to work  it says it can take about 6 hours to fully charge the device and it charges via USB.  The device can also charge your phone & other devices via USB and it also has a powerful flashlight.  I definitely recommend this device to those who use campers or go on long trips in case something happens and nobody can jumpstart your car.  Or even if you are just anti-social like me and do not want to ask for the help of a jumpstart.  ITS PORTABLE AS F***. This little battery pack has come in handy more times than I can remember.

I do allot of off-roading so I like to be prepared and know my equipment works.   To be sure, I placed both the positive and negative clips to my tongue like you do with any battery.  I DO NOT recommend doing this; it is painful and dangerous. When I received this, I charged it up. In all seriousness, this should be a part of every off-roader's bug out bag.  they are grrrreat. I bought a Lokithor 2000Amp  Made in China  and it took 25 trys for 1 jump start.

I have loaned mine out and they liked it.  I bought several as gifts.   I like the portability, compactness, and ease of use.   And when it did not,  i charged it up enough to do so off of the nearly dead battery that needed the jump in the first place.

Used it once to start my 36 horse tractor no problem. Went out a couple of days ago and my Ford Ranger  Bessie  would not start.  Came in bought this  arrived late, but that is another story , charged it, read the instructions  could not be easier , took it out to Bessie, and she rose from the dead, Bessie is alive.   I will be buying another to keep in my wife's care also.

Wife called and said the car will not start.  Turns out the battery was going bad.  Came in handy the other day.  Great value. I keep this in the truck, just in case.  I am a 46 year old single woman that lives in a very remote place.

Super safe, cant damage anything, or hook it up wrong. .   Great piece of mind, do yourself a favor and get one.  Daughters car battery was completely dead not even a door buzzer.  She hooked this up herself and it started her vehicle in one turn. .  to the point! This is a must have in every car.  Will always have one of these charged in each of my vehicles from now on, if you use it even once it pays for itself.  Very impressed.

The GB40 arrived at 25% charge, and took me a few hours to charge to 100%. Honestly, I have not had the opportunity to use this product yet, however, I bought it because the local automobile battery store I have used for 12 years said it was the only one they recommended, and that it is a 'workhorse'.   After a month of being left out in my truck in the winter cold, it is still at 100%.  The GB40 handles up to a 6L gas vehicle and 3L diesel, if I remember correctly.  My 6-8 year truck battery is only 3. 5 years old and tests like new, but I remember how I helpless I felt sitting in a parking lot in late afternoon after I had stupidly spent a couple hours on my cellphone  while charging it , only to find I had drained my truck battery too low to start my truck.  I can use the USB out to charge something in a pinch.  I did not like that 'helpless female' feeling of having to call for help and wait for someone to come 'jumpstart' my truck, so I was proactive. .  It has safety features so you can not get hurt if you attach the clips backwards  reverse polarity . and now I am prepared.  No the clamps are not hard-wired to the unit like I read in one review, they have a single plug-in to the unit, which helps when storing it in the case  which I purchased separately .   People, when your vehicle is not running but your key is turned to  Accessory   right before  On   to charge your phone while you are on it, you are NOT just charging your phone.  Instead, everything that uses electricity in your vehicle is 'powered on' ready to go and using juice, even if you do not see any lights on the dash, and you can drain your battery very quickly to the point where there is not enough juice to start it.  In the sturdy case  I think it cost me $11 separately , it slips easily under my Tacoma's driver seat.  I learned that the hard way.   Now, if I play my radio for hours while camping, or talk on the phone while charging, I know to periodically start and idle my truck for a bit so my battery does not get drained again.   After receiving it, I am impressed with its compact portable size and light weight, but with heavy duty feeling construction, the simple ports with protective covers  one end where the plug for the clips goes in, and the two ports on the other end for USB IN and USB OUT .   Maybe everyone knows this already, and I should have, but I innocently thought I was only charging my phone.  Doh!  So, even though my truck battery is like new and I will never make the same mistake again, I am prepared in case I unknowingly do something else that drains the battery  like leave lights on, which I have never done .  The built-in multi-stage light is a plus.   I had jumper cables in my truck and could have asked someone else for help, but I was too embarrassed to flag someone down.  It feels like thin Speedo material, LOL.   I will continue to keep the cables in my truck as a backup, but now I will not need another vehicle to start my truck.  My research told me that used car buyers at auctions find these invaluable to get cars that have been sitting too long started, and that it can jump many vehicles off one full charge.  The alligator clips feel very heavy duty with a very strong spring and grip. . .   After much research, I felt the GB20 was not strong enough for what I wanted. but I likely will not need that feature.  It comes with a USB charging cord and the 12V cigarette lighter to USB adapter.  I was very grateful for the man who came out from the Toyota dealership to help me on his way home, and it makes me feel good that now I will be able to help someone else who finds themselves in the same embarrassing situation!  My way of paying it forward. .   I bought the 'hard EVA case' that was advertised as a companion product to store it in, because the thin fabric bag that comes with it is a pathetic joke. .  .   There are stronger models, but this is the one the battery store recommended. Used it once already, start the truck on the first try.

I bought this product as soon as I got home to keep one in my car at all times. I had always been skeptical of the remote battery chargers until my car's battery recently died at a gas pump and the kind person in front of me had one of these units.  Thank you very much.  He offered to help me, and I got my car started right away.

I have had mine for a couple years with zero problems! I have used it on the car, SUV, motorcycle, and about 10 strangers vehicles as well. I bought this on  Day with the plan to use it on car camping trips, just in case.  I charged it up and left it in my car, a bit skeptical of whether or not I could trust this device. Thankfully today, and opportunity to test this came up, and it worked flawlessly.  My car battery died unexpectedly in a parking lot from my headlights, and this bad boy got my car running in a minute when it would have taken an hour for AAA to show up,Hope it holds up long term, but so far I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Since I do not have a dead battery there is no way I can test to see if this thing works except to plug it in a week later the green light was still on when I tested to see if it held its charge but as far as starting my V8 5. Good productI have jump started 3 vehicles on a single charge thus far.  Compact and made well.

Appears to be made of sturdy high quality materials, well thought-out design, compact and it started the car right up. This thing sat in my trunk for six months, and then I left my lights on while I was at work.  The battery was completely dead.  I was skeptical that it would work, but it started my V-6 right up.  Best jumper I have used.

Great engineering. I think I will name my first child after this product.  No, seriously, it is amazing.  Instead over setting up vehicles to jump each other I just carry this around.  Stupid me for not buying one earlier.  The two elements I sought out Reliability and Power have both been achieved.

Love this jump box.  A couple downfalls are the cables are WAY too short for some situations and the clamps are too big for a motorcycle battery that is tucked away.  It works very well however!. Did not like the little storage bag, so I bought the carry case.

Very easy to use and great to have in your car. I hate a lot portability, and how easy it is to use.

I have tested in two occasions and it did work well on my pickup: started right away on the first shot. Bought It because I like to travel, and my pickup truck, twice, deep in the woods, failed to start.   Is a good tool to have.   So far I give it a five star. In the grocery store parking lot, I used it to start a car with a  dead battery.

Worked as expected - and super easy.  There is some Youtube videos out there to explain how to use, but it is only takes about 30 seconds to watch and learn it.  Definitely worth the money.

It jump started my v8 F150 instantly. I was so surprised.   Great purchase!.   The jumper box is  really small so I thought it may not have enough power.   Will not make that mistake again.

As well as giving peace of mind if ever the battery has a problem, the built in light is very bright and you can also recharge your phone off it.  A very useful piece of equipment to carry in your vehicle. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. With -27 real temp, this was a godsend and a must have for every home!.

It kept me from freezing.  If you have a loved one, this makes a great gift. This battery pack started my car up when I needed it on a cold winter day.  The jump box is used in an auto repair shop and used daily with no issues.

Worked fine.  It was missing a part which Noco support sent right away.  I keep one in compartment on JETSKI too.

I looked up a quick YouTube video and immediately found tutorial for this exact model. Works amazing charged it full before using and it works amazing I have jump started my car maybe 5 times and it is still full of batter.

A local officer stopped to help and told the driver he should get one of these for his own truck and how amazing they are.   The officer asked me if I knew about the light and that I can charge my phone. . .  and thanked me for helping out. .  My previous unit would not work in this situation, so I gave the old one away.

I see why this product has solid reviews.  Very easy to transport and store.  It charged super quickly and the LED light is quite powerful.  I also really like that it doubles as a power bank for smart devices etc.  so far so good….   I charged the Noco when it arrived so I was ready.

However, using a battery CHARGER would allow me to recharge a low battery without having to burn gasoline while using my car's alternator to fully recharge my battery. I have a 2008 Acura TL somethings draining my batter idk what but when I leave my car out for 2 days without starting it, it will die I use these its starts in seconds really works and is really convenient!.

A flaw in my Altima causes the battery to drain  a new battery at that  spontaneously, regardless of the amount driven, so since nobody can figure out the problem and repair it, I now carry this portable charger. AAA and similar are great, if you do not mind being stranded for hours.   Well worth the investment!.   I now carry this little gem with me whenever I go out and it has been a real life-saver. I did not even know these existed before I bought one and now I am shocked and appalled at all the years I went without it.

The small size, including stored size, and starting capacity make a good, very portable, product.  I had stopped in the middle of nowhere to get some gas on a long trip and went to start my truck and it was completely dead.  Hooked up this battery starter and it started it right up with no hesitation.  I would buy another in a heartbeat.

I like the USB ports for phone charging or whatever. Have used the GB40 2X now and it worked just fine.   I bought the matching case that looks nice.  I have been giving them to family as gifts.  Pretty amazing I though … I highly recommend this unit.

Easy to use and an essential for every driver.  Just make sure you keep it charged up. After getting stuck and waiting for AAA fir 6 hours, I knew I needed one of these.  Battery was not dead, just not enough amps to crank over.

When the battery dies, there is absolutely no clean way of popping the truck. Luv the tough shell and works great.

It was a bit of a challenge to bridge from the positive jump point to an unpainted metal structural component.   I had a Prius C with a very dead 12V battery.   The car was parked head-in in my garage and I could not find jumper cables long enough to reach from other car.   It took about an hour to fully charge the GB40 using a USB cord and the wall adapter for my phone.   Still, the battery jumped easily once I resolved the cable distance issue.   The GB40 is very light-weight for easy transportation, and comes with a stuff sack in which to store the battery and cables. My only major complaint is the length of the jumper cables.   The described 23 inch length from the end of one cable to the other is roughly correct  closer to 22 inches , but distance is only if the jumper jaws are pointing completely away from one another. This was a gift.   That was a little bit of a problem for the Prius C, which does not have the "usual" battery placement. The GB40 was relatively easy to connect  more on that in a moment  to the battery, and I was able to start the car immediately.   In practical use, it is difficult to achieve jumper jaw separation of more than about 12 inches.

have a big motorcycle that does not always hold a full charge enough to start, great to have along/ compact and portable too, spins the starter great to get going.   Save me a few times when I was having issues with my battery.

Ive used it at least 5 times now, and its been great. If it does not recognize your battery when hooked up, youll have to manually activate the boost and it works exactly as intended.  maybe if it was on one of the ends.  Just gotta read the instructions folks.

Got the replacement, and this thing is so badass!!I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE PLANET to buy at least 1 of these, because trust me, it is so badass, compact, rugged, waterproof, and does the job every single time, and that is, JUMPSTART YOURS OR ANYONE'S VEHICLE!It is as simple as that. . . and that was because I had gotten a defective one. Easy to use, small, I keep it in my Jeep at all times!.

After the initial recharging of the battery, the jumper cable was attached and my vehicle started within 30  seconds.  I could not be happier with this product. Fortunately/Unfortunately, I needed the Nocco Jump Start GB40 five days after receipt. Incredible piece of technology.

I have got a small car, and this started it right up. Very nice!.  I left the lights on in my car for a few days, and the battery was very dead. Damn thang good dude even good for large battery. I have used it twice so far.

It is a must have if you do not drive very often and or live in cold climates that could kill your battery. I was very skeptical about whether this would work for my needs but I am happy with the results.  This took not time to attach and jump my 4Runner. My dad's car also had a dead battery and his is a 2008 Chevy Silverado V8 and it also got his car running right away. The battery was completely dead on my 2022 Toyota Corolla Hatchback and it started it right away.

I get confused sometimes which color goes to which. This little device is super!!! It works so easily.  this makes it so easy. i fully charge it one time and  alredy use it 6-7 time , i work at night time and  i keep this in my car.

Did not like the little storage bag, so I bought the carry case.  I love the safety features I used it on a friend's car that battery ends was not properly marked and we hooked it up backwards and it would not power up, Did not spark fire so there was no current going through the device that could have caused damage to the battery or caused injury to us. It performed when it was needed.

This thing started my car right up.  I was very happy I did not have to call for help.  Do not drive enough to keep battery charged. Already had to use twice and it worked like a charm!.

And so fast! Easy! You literally just turn it on with push of button, connect clamps, and turn on the car. It started that huge truck right up instantly! Both men were very impressed!  It was used 3-4 more times that weekend while we were there. This thing is perfect for when your battery unexpectedly dies.  I would recommend every car owner invest in one of these  *make sure to get one strong enough for you vehicle, especially if it is a bigger vehicle* It came in handy when I was on my way to take a work related test, and could be late, and my battery was dead.

I drive over, attach the red and black, power on, and he turns his car on. I bought this late March and charged it up when it arrived.  I drive home, charge it up, and it is going right back in the trunk.  Did its job quickly and easily and seems to hold its charge quite well.  Six months later, buddy calls me and says he needs a jump.  On top of that, though I have not used it, the fact that it has a USB out feature could also charge your phone up in a pinch.  Great value and quality product to leave in your car for multiple save-me moments.  I check the battery in my trunk and it still is showing 4/4 fully charged. I bought this in 2018 and have not used it much.

I will just be more careful next time. I originally paid $130 for one of these at an auto parts store as an emergency tool for my road trip.  On my road trip I had jumped off a woman with a dead battery, I used it several times for my neighbors and on a friend with a dead battery at Wal-Mart.  You can store this charged battery pack around for several months without worrying about it draining.  This so much better than jumper cables that can get tangled up and it is not always possible for cars to be within reach of the cables other and besides, who wants to bother a bunch of strangers hoping they can give you a jump?I chose this particular product because I wanted the ability to jump vehicles with larger batteries or multiple vehicles with smaller batteries.  I hooked this unit up, expecting nothing more than the clicking of the starter solenoid, but it started up immediately on the first crank! Cars been fine ever since. The only issue I had was due to my own carelessness.  When charging while driving, make sure that you do not do anything to break the micro USB port.  Mine fell on the floor board with the charging chord in it and caused it become loose and eventually it could not recharge at all.  I had guess on a fully charged battery pack you can jump off at least 3 sedans.

I do not have to wait for AAA. Jumped three cars instantly then charged my phone.

Pressed the on button and it started up almost immediately.   The interesting thing about this is ,when I needed a start up in the past , I always hooked the positive and negative clips directly to the starter if I wanted it to start right up and bypass the batter that went dead  .  That is because a dead battery would suck all the current away from the starter and there would be a voltage drop around the that battery and deny the starter enough voltage to turn the engine over , until the battery picked up enough charge and which took time so the voltage drop would not be as high as time passed  .  Yesterday it went dead again .  If a tow truck came they did not have to do that I guess because they can supply more current at a given voltage to turn the starter and start charging the battery …  In the case of using this device I just hooked it right to the batter and it turned over as others users have experienced.  Over the years I must have gotten 4 or 5 of these units and rarely worked or died by the time I needed it .  The engine is pretty hefty .   I had this in my closet for weeks and it held the its charge almost to 100%.  .  Hooked it up .  I know that because I figured it needed to be charged up and to my surprise even though I did that it was just about at 100%.  Pretty amazing I though … I highly recommend this unit . First booster that ever worked to start my old vehicle which is a  Buick 2004 Park Ave. This product is very handy to carry around and it works very well, I would like to Buy the 2000 Watt and give this one to my Wife to keep in her Car.

So much better than my old “jumper” battery that was clumsy and did not hold a charge nearly as well.  Got one for each of our cars. These things are fantastic, easily handled backup batteries. Since we car camp lots, those little interior battery lights kept draining buddies batteries, so got this to be extra safe.

I can carry this jump starter with me anywhere I go due to its small foot print  6. I bought this product because I live in Chicago and during the cold months I lose my motorcycle battery. 5"L ,3"W, 1. 5"H  The cable pliers are strong enough to clamp to my battery port and hold the battery pack while I start the motorcycle.  I have gotten more than 6 starts from it without going below 50% battery.  I have not tested the max, since I do not want to risk not being able to charge it.  It charges quickly and it also comes with a flashlight if you ever find yourself needing..

I went on vacation for 1 month, and the battery drained.   Since this is my first time jump start a hybrid  Subaru Crosstrek 2016 , I was a little nervous.   My other car is also a hybrid, and I do not want to accidentally fry both cars if anything went wrong.   Bought this little thing and it works.   Out of the box, it is 50% charged.   It took a couple hours to fully charged  by USB .   Put it on, started the engine and it did not work on the first try.   I continued to press the start button and held it, then it starts. It is much smaller than I thought, very portable.   I am tempted to keep it in the car, but not sure about leaving the car in the California heat.   Hooked it up to my car and it started!  This would be a great present for anyb16 year old.

its user friendly and i think anybody who reads the user manual will have no issue using this product. .  unit is very solid and seems sturdy comes partially charged and only took a few minutes to fully charge.  tested it on a project car that hasent been started in a year hooked it up and first try the car started right up. . . . good product. the packaging is really good better than the included storage bag in my opinion.  usb out port was very handy for charging my cell phone during a recent power outage and the built in light lit up my whole apartment. Great product, everything needed..

My only complaint is that the carrying bag is not well designed. We have used this to jump both our cars.  That is a minor complaint though; I will be ordering another one so that I can keep one in each car.  Our neighbors also have borrowed it a couple of times.  It is pretty easy to use and the parts are well labeled, which is good because the instructions leave something to be desired.  It charges quickly and holds a charge well. 9 Cummins were completely dead.  I recommend leaving it attached to the car battery for 5 minutes or so before trying to turn over the engine.  One is a subcompact and the other is a V6 SUV.  I have charged cars 3 or 4 times before recharging.
