I would buy another one. Easy to use and not heavy.  I had not recharged it yet, but the dang thing jumped her car without hesitation.

I got the GB40. Only used it once, so for so good.

Guess that is not going to happen. I have a 5. 7 tundra +Samsung S8 phone.   1 jump stat and the battery is at 75%.  it amazes people every time i use it.   I contacted the mfr and they confirmed this is CORRECT. 5 phone charges for my 3000mah phone battery.   I was really hoping to charge my phone multiple times while camping.   1 phone charge and the battery is at 25%.

8L 4 cyl.   Slowly charged the battery in my 4Runner which had been sitting in the garage since Covid.  Note that vehicle tested on is a 1.  Battery almost completely dead and connected the booster, turned on the booster and waited a few minutes and the vehicle fired right up.

That is my only issue and minimal. Should of been in a hard case instead of a cloth bag.

they claim it can boost 20 times on signal charge but I do not believe that is true.  This booster revived my battery as it was completely drained. I have to use override feature because booster did not get a signal from battery.  But I recharged it again and it is ready if I need it. . .  It is simple to use, great safety features.  Only negative is that the booster drained to 1 bar after 2 boosts. . .  Just remember to charge it fully before first use. yes I fully charged it before first use. . .  Nonetheless, once it switched to override the radio turned on and I was ready to go. just remember to let it charge for a few mins before trying to start the car. I learned about this charger a few months ago after the battery on my 2017 Toyota Prius died and a local wrecker company came to jump it. After having my car sit for 2 weeks, my battery died..

Car batteries dont have a long shelf life and it may be some time until you use but you will be glad you have it. I just received the GB40 and can not  test it at this time. However, they provided a cheap thin pouch instead of a case like the other jumpers in this price range.  Do I use the cigarette adapter to charge the unit and drain the car battery in the process and then use the jumper to jump start the car???At this price point both a case and wall adapter should have been provided.

But as far as its functionality, it works. It is new so I cannot comment on its durability.  Starts are super fast as long as the battery is not stone cold dead.

As a woman I highly recommend this device.  It is essential because it is not really safe to be asking strangers for a jumpstart.  This thing lasts long too. I have not actually used it yet, but I charged it and it is ready to go for when I need it.

I have not had the opportunity to use mine yet but it does give a little piece of mind, especially when my wife is out and about. Very impressive what these little units can do.  Maybe an update will come soon. I did get a very strong recommendation for this particular unit from a friend.  He actually used his on my sister's car recently.  Thus the coax to buy. I guess you could say it is a tool I am glad I have and hope I do not have to use!. This is a very powerful jump box for the power it provides.

Can jump my car 8-10 times without me needing to charge it. Suggest that the manufacturer make the external shape of the cable plug that goes into the main unit be designed so it is obvious which way it goes in.

Secondly it will start most vehicle 4 or 5 times before it gets to 50 percent and no longer start anything ,but can only charge a cell phone once in doing so the unit is completely dead. Two issues I have with noco,for a 99$ product they at least should give a hard case and not this cloth bag.  One star off for being a bit overpriced.

I mostly use it to charge my projector when I am camping.  Halfway there I remembered I had this in my truck.

I bought it as an just in case item.  Feels study, like it can handle what is says it can, light is strong and has different outlets and inlets. It says it will jump your car & it jumps your car!It jumped my Subaru Outback 2.

I have had other auto zone and  brand jump starters and they always fail to start even passenger cars. I was lucky enough to get this on a deal and I am so happy to have finally gotten one.  This starter has been a nice piece of mind to have living in a warm climate where batteries die suddenly. With the case, it is a little large so FYI it can make it difficult to conceal which is attractive for thieves.  The only time I have been stranded with a dead battery, a friend let me borrow the GB70 and it worked like a charm.  That is my only issue and minimal. Do not go anywhere without it, great in the boat and fires up the truck even when the battery is low on it.

Surprisingly this product works The only issue was trying to keep it charged. Have not had to use yet but based on previous positive reviews, I am sure it will work great.

Unfortunately I am the forgetful human that forgets to turn off her headlights or turn a light off within the car and I have to say in 3 separate occasions it has saved my life starting up my Honda CRV when it was dead to the point that nothing would turn on . I definitely recommend this jumper to just keep stored in your car for forgetful days like mine . This jumper is amazing.  Not that there is a better choice if you already bought the battery, but look elsewhere if you want a better combined package unless you need something ultra-compact.

Havent tried it on a car yet, but charging your phone ONCE will completely drain it.  I got this for $70 bux here and that was my top dollar for this noco insurance policy.

For example: a car battery that died at a drive-inn movie, but if the car has been sitting in the garage for a while and needs a few good cranks to start, this may not make it even with a full charge.  By the fourth try, it is done. . . Great product and jump box.

I have not tried it but I trust it will work. I have used this box to jump everything from four wheelers, motorcycles, lawn mowers, classicV8 cars, and modern V8s 5.  It has never let me down.  Used it for 24 hours straight charging phones, tablets, and lights when the power went off and it still had charge.  I can vouch for it having the power to turn over a 351W at least 6 straight jumps in a row.  This is definitely worth its weight and I carry it with me wherever I go.  I had some of the plastic break on the gator clip but that did not  hurt functionality.  The gator clips are narrow and can fit in most locations where regular cables can not.  I usually plug it in at night after using it and it is fully charged by morning  6 hours.

Really great product.  Feel better having this around for emergencies. I have use this battery jumper several times. 3 gas liter engine, but does the job.

if driving alone or in a situation with no electricity,  this truly comes in handy and makes me feel safer. I have not had to use this for one of my vehicles as of yet but have used it to jump several of my friends and unfortunate people pulled over on the road. It has jumped everything from large SUVs to small cars and seems to do it effortlessly and in multiple types of weather conditions. I now have purchased more to give to loved ones so that they are prepared just in case.

I really need to replace the battery in this case.  Despite my initial experience, this has proven to be a useful device.  Moved from 2 to 4 stars.  I would purchase again. Follow-up:I have had a several more opportunities to use this and it was worked as needed. Original: I have only had a single chance to use it so far and it failed me.  First really cold morning of the year since getting the unit.  Daughter's car would not start.  I suspected it may be the battery so I gave this a try.  It worked to start a Ford Edge, a Ford F150  on a fairly chilly night , and a Honda Civic.  Lights suggested it was connected correctly.  Did not sound like it made any difference and car did not start.  Hooked car up to mine via jumper cables and it did start.  Unit was stored in car so was also cold  outside temperature was ~28F  but showed full charge.  I also use it regularly when my lawn mower does not quite have enough juice to get going.  Perhaps it is temperature impacted the charge it could provide. I like everything about the device  size, convenience, time it holds is charge, etc. I will revise this review, for better or worse, the next time I need to try it.  Takes overnight to charge.

This is a very hearty and well built device.  I absolutely love it and it is well worth the price.  No wait whatsoever, it delivers enough umpf to turn over any engine I have come across.  People are amazed at how well it works and ask me about it all the time.  Just get it.  After several months of daily use it has yet to fail me.  You wont be dissapointed.  This is a big improvement over jumper cables.

Successfully jump started my Toyota Sienna 2011 minivan without any problem.  Hooked up the unit, waited for 1 minute.  The first ignition start failed, but the second one right after that worked! Unit is portable and great! I was also able to recharge my iPhone with an usb cable. My husband loves this charger.

Provides a great boost of power to a low battery. Easy to store, set up and use.   Quickly recharges.   Battery holds it is charge for weeks.   Small enough to store just about anywhere. 7 liter V-8 truck engine in summer 80° mild weather.

This little pack jumped me in the morning to get to work, jumped me after work to go to an O'Reilly's  where I learned that my 10 year old battery was the issue , jumped me out of their parking lot to the Advanced Auto Parts down the street, and jumped me on my way back home. That is 4 whole jumps with minimal fussing  I got way more practice hooking it than I would have liked , and the battery pack still read 3/4 charge.  Worked with no issues all 4 times. This thing was an emergency purchase as I was facing a workweek and a car that refused to start. Can charge phones/other devices, and comes with a passable flashlight built in as well, which is neat multipurposing, but not something you would buy this for imo. Complaints would be that the clamps are a little stiff to start, or maybe I just have weak hands.  Asking for jumps is doable, but I am way too stressy to want to do that every single time I wanted to drive somewhere. Super useful stuff, and it is something I had recommend to anyone that gets stressed out by asking strangers for jumps. Purchased a battery to charge phones when camping.

But the standby time is not as good as my last jumper.  I did note that the light was not as bright as I expected. Worked good and will be a great asset.

I keep mine in my car for emergencies and have used a similar device that worked great.  Jump starts my 1. I have not had to use this to jump my car yet but it stays charged for a long time and can be used to charge your devices.

I love this device; so much that I have purchased 3, 2 of them as gifts to family.  They ones I used worked very well, only had one vehicle that could not be jump started by the jumper or vehicle.  So before you take someone else's negative words, try it for yourself and you be the judge of it is worthiness.    5 star review because they do not claim to be the best, but it is does what it says it will do. This makes jumper cables obsolete! Dealerships use this to jump dead batteries all the time.

Have used this more than four times on several vehicles and it is worked each time.   Only issue is that it uses the USB mini as opposed to the USBC plug which the next up model incorporates but it costs $40 more. The Diehard pack would take like 10-15 minutes of charging to be able to start the car, this thing can start it right away, much great power dump than a regular jump starter pack.

I did not find directions in the package. Like it but should have come with a case for the cost.

We use it instead of a battery for testing 12 volt items and to jump start vehicles.  Love it!.  Vehicle s  fired right up; in the cold.

This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. Portability makes this a great product, the additional carrying case purchase is ok and better than the bag.  It is easy to use.  I have also used it to charge a cell phone and a tablet with the included usb port it has.  I am thinking of getting another one for my other vehicle.

Worked well and after all that is why I bought it. Took a star off for crummy storage bag instead of case like other manufacturers. I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it! He takes it with him everywhere and uses it a lot.

I purchased it about three weeks ago, I used it four times already and it works every time! So easy to use, so practica, so powerful!.  Built in light is handy.

The claws do not dig into the metal to make good contact.  The other day there were no clicking sounds when I turned the key. Overall this works, but the teeth on the cable claws are not sharp and barely exist.

I like that the jump pack has the ability to USB-out, to power a mobile device if needed, as well as a flashlight function with different operating modes. Prior to this experience, I had another jump pack that worked great.   After making sure it was fully charged, I went to put it to the test.   BAM! - it enabled the car to turn over strong and start up, without the pack the starter could not turn over more than once or twice.   After returning both of them, I admit I was a little jaded and annoyed.   I was quite happy about this because an unexpected circumstance required I start and drive the car 7-10 times over a 2 day period and each time the jump pack was needed and came through like a champion.   Being that I had no other choice  the car could not be parked where a full size charger and extension cord could be run to it indefinitely , I bought this portable jump pack.   I had prefer to give a 4. 5 star rating but that is not an option.   It worked so well, someone stole it from me.   Why?  Because the storage option for this charger and it is accessories is pitiable.   It is a nylon bag with a pull strap to keep it closed and the contents inside  kinda; hold it the wrong way and things threaten to fall out .   The box it came in was decent enough.   My original jump pack  ugh I wish I could remember it is name  had a nice sturdy, size-appropriate case that the pack and all accessories fit within and it zipped shut.   It was exchanged for another one and that one would not even charge or power up.   Same for the Anker units.   So giving the buyer a flimsy bag is kinda a joke.   Jaded after two packs from a known name failed back-to-back, annoyed because the car I need a jumper for is seldom driven but when it is, I need it to -start-.   BUT, the jump pack works and works well.   And in the end, is not that what really matters most?.   The jumper cables could be a tad longer, but they are sturdy and look/feel quality. Worked well for what I bought it for ,would buy agin.

Has paid for itself in about two months of usage.   This is something everyone should have in their trunk or garage. Works great at jump starting both a v6 engine car and also my winter tractor.   Also this unit should come with a case vice buying on separate.

I received this item in a timely manner in good condition.   After reading the included instructions, I fully charged it and tested the lights and stored it away in my emergency supply bag I keep in my vehicle.   Since I have not had the opportunity to really use it as a jump start boost, I can not give it a full 5 stars until then since that is the intended function of it.   The quality of the item seems first class and I would not hesitate to carry it with me on road trips as you never know when you may need a jump or a back up power source for your cell phone etc.   Do not want to ruin my vehicles battery or charging system using regular jumper cables plus having a back up power source for a cell phone is appealing.  Always prepared! That is my middle name.

This did not charge my Yukon without the manual override.  Might become it is been dead for a few days.  Fired right up. Works great when fully charged.

This is the 3rd boost pack.  I bought 1 for home, 1 for work  mechanic  and one for my father.  Reliable and can jump just about anything.  I did not think it would but it managed to.  The other nice feature is to bypass the safety feature to put out voltage even if it detects 0 voltage on the device being jumped.   Completely dead battery  so overall I have been happy with it. AAA told us this one is the best to get if you need a jump start.

Must recharge after every jump charge..

This thing is badass only charged it once still going 5 stars. Charged it when I first got it.  Tested it by disconnecting the battery from our truck with 6. 0 liter V8 and connecting directly to the battery cables.   The truck turned over a little slower than normal, but it started.  I pulled this out of my glove box and it had them going quickly.  Charge level still shows 75%.

Used it the day it came out the box without even charging.  Portable, light is good even has SOS mode just got to remove a star because the included car charger did not work.   The cables fine but the car plug in would not charge it.  Had to switch to my regular one. This started a dead Tahoe without breaking a sweat.

Gives me the impression  that the material  of the terminal conectors os frágil,  because it cracked  after first use.  Others warned of this in their reviews.

The truck turned over a little slower than normal, but it started. I can not give 5 stars yet because I have not actually used the jump starter.   I do like the capability to charge other devices from the same unit.

Great product holds a charge well.  Used to jump my car, great flashlite and USB charging ports.  Unfortunately, I can not give it 4-stars due to the protective cover falling apart.

Then you try to start you dead battery, but it wont start.  I think it took me maybe 3 tries before the car started, but it started! Sometimes you just have to wait a whole minute or two before you attempt to start the car, and if that doesnt work then press the boost button on the device itself * that should help. It takes a Long time to charge the product, which is fine.  I had to use the boost button on aLL my cars but I used the same charger then to charge by other 3 dead cars & it worked on aLL of them!.  I charge one time, I USED 4-5 time still fully charge.

I am fortunate to have a wife with a mechanical background.  There are only about eight pages in English in the owner's manual and they did not help me a bit.  She studied that and found out how to hook up and charge the unit.  We have not used it to start a vehicle with yet, but what she determined turned out to be fairly easy.

I bought it as an just in case item. great for jumping cars with low battery, but be warned its not strong enough to jump a car with a COMPLETELY dead battery.

I have seen it start a pontoon boat after stored all winter in Maine,  It has started a dozer and an old tractor.   great purchase.   Well after seeing it in action I had to have one.  the pack was easy to use and jumped the vehicle immediately. I know a few people that have this and at first I was not sure it would work.

Highly recommend this product. Jumped a diesel 8 cylinder, used it to run my dc pump to pump up tires, charged my phone, and my friends laptop. I have owned other bulky battery booster, they just could not handle a battery who's voltage was too low.  Buy the case to carry it in.

The only problem is that the cables are too short.   Many newer cars do not readily give access to the battery.   Instead they have a separate positive terminal for jumping.   Or you can get access to the battery positive  Acura MDX for example , but the spot the manual tells you to use for ground is on the other side of the engine compartment and these short cables will not reach.   You have to hunt for some suitable bare metal which can be hard to find in some newer cars where the engine compartment is all covered. Ordered this for elderly parents to lightweight and ease of use and compatibility.

Should be one of these in every car.  Every time I try to handle it I inadvertently turn on the light.   Have not needed this yet. These are great btw.   Get one. Good quality for price.

Product is good however, I purchased a returned product that did not  work. I like the product but gave it 4 stars because I have not used it yet.  The day I use it to help someone or need it myself I will revisit my review.  I would have preferred a hard shell case over the bag, but hey, that could be purchased.

Yes, you can get one that does not work just make sure you test it before you really need it. This started a dead Tahoe without breaking a sweat.  Recommended.

Have not tried that many, but 4 - 5 times in a row for Scion Xb and does the trick. Did not work on my neighbors Maserati, V8, so maybe a bit limited, 4. 5 stars. A friend told me this can jump your car 100 times in a row. . Good little jump pack.

Definitely worth the purchase. Great to have in emergency.  The only thing battery life needs improvement.

I have used it a few times now. I got the 1000amp version to use on a 4.  Most of those times my battery was completely dead  no signs of life when you turn the key , and you have to put the jump starter in override mode because it can not even detect the battery.  I have not had total luck getting this jump starter to put out enough power to start the engine immediately in this case.  I will turn the key, and there is life, but not enough to crank the engine.  If I try several times, it will easily drain the jump starter.  In one case this happened and I ended up just jumping it from another car.  The 1000 amp version should be be good for at least 6 liters, according to the description.  The best I have had is letting the jump starter sit for several minutes before trying, and then it seems to work better. My recommendations are: Buy one size bigger than you need.  So I should have gotten the 2000 amp version  $$$ .  And if you need to use override mode, hook the jump starter up but let it sit for several minutes before you try to start the car.  I had come back to the store to get something, so I offered to help.

The light is bright and useful. Product is charged and ready to go. Not that it happens very often but I have always carried jumper cables in my car which have come in very handy for myself and other motorists…I will probably order the hard case for it rather than the bag it comes with. I have not tried them yet but based on all other reviews, it supposed to work just fine.  My car would not start the day before thanksgiving and I was thinking maybe a dead battery and where my car was parked I would not be able to use a regular jumper cables unless it is really long so I ordered 2 on these portable jumpstart but I checked it out my battery was not dead.  I ordered 2 1000amp.  Cleaned it and the car started fine.  One came on a GB20 and the other on a GB40 box  pictures included .  I will still keep the jumpstart in case I ever need it.  Both came on 2 different boxes.  I would definitely recommend this as it is a really small in size and a must have item for a vehicle owner. It is a really nice small portable battery jumpstart.  Very portable.

I was so impressed, I bought one and had it 2 days later.  Fast forward to now, my car would not start and I got to use it for the first time.  A nice person offered to help us with this device.  Easy to use and got me back on the road in no time at all.  Saved me hours of having to wait for AAA. Bought this when my wife's car would not start when we were on vacation. Very simple to use and is so much better than trying to use jumper cables.

The first time I needed a jump after I bought this I had to bypass the safety because the battery was completely drained  this is documented in the manual . Later on my battery started dying and I had to use the unit 3 times in a single day.   It succeeded each time. I like how I can charge it from the USB-A socket in my car while driving. I bought this after I drained my battery by accident a couple of times and had to recruit another motorist to give me a jump. The first thing I would want to improve is include a drawstring clamp for the the included bag.   The bag will creep open over time and possibly spill cables since there is no easy way to hold it cinched..

The noco GB70 is not cheap but well worth the money. .  Frustrated I was watching you tube and saw a guy who was an auto tech by trade and he have the noco a shout out for its professional performance when needed and its ability to hold a charge to be ready when needed.   He was not lying.   Charging takes several hours via USB. After owning several jump boxes over the years i found that every time I needed them they had lost charge and would not  do the job I bought it for so I was still stuck dead in the water.

I was advised to carefully read the instructions and not assume I know the safe way to use it specially  charging the battey. It has served me well. This makes jumper cables obsolete! Dealerships use this to jump dead batteries all the time.

I saw a review of these on U-tube "Project Farm", and saw that our big truck maintenance tech owned one where I work.  I bought one for myself for Christmas.  It started the van in 20 seconds.  It was 11:30 at night. its very portable but would have liked that you charge it up on a wall outlet and not just a usb cable.

Super handy device.  Hubby and I both have been using this device alot with my car sitting in the garage alot not getting started hardly ever working from home since March 2020  and his finally hit that old battery stage that you do not realize it is going bad until it is super cold like now and will not start.  Definitely recommend! Plus it is super easy to figure out.  One improvement would be to provide cables that are just a few inches longer.

It is great to use when you need a quick jump BUT not on a dead battery like that dead nothing works so for a quick jump it will work but for a long change you will need a battery charger NOT A JUMP PACK. fits securely in vehicle and takes-up little room.

Works great on my BMW X5 50i. So easy to use and very compact so you do not feel like dragging an air compressor every time you need to jump start an engine.  Way too many sensors and other componants that can be impacted by arcing or wrong connections.

So at around 10 AM I hooked it up to the car understanding for a dead battery you have to override the safety features and press the boost override button for 3 seconds .   Hooked it up and turned on the unit - immediately the red error light came on  not blinking  - normally indicating reverse polarity.   Went out Friday night to start my 2017 Outback and found the battery completely dead.   That was unexpected as I had the polarity right. 2V.   Also the colored LEDs were off  for a low voltage battery they all should be on according to to documentation   Pressed the boost button for 3+ seconds and NOTHING happened.   Did this multiple times and then thought I might have a defective unit.   I plugged it in and it took about 3 hours to fully charge.   Well I am an electrical engineer - so thought I would hook the leads to a volt meter and check that.   Measured it at 0.   I hooked it up and "lo and behold" the colored LEDs lit up as they would do for a "low voltage" battery and the volts were about 10V.   For no particular reason - I tried it on the car again - AND IT WORKED - boost worked and LEDs chased and the car started no problem. Excellent product - then why did I give it 4 starts instead of 5?  Read on.   So - my assumption is that there is some possible software issue or other "glitch" that was resolved in my bench test that allowed it to work subsequently.   Immediately did some research online and found the GB40 plus and - even better  could deliver it it by 8AM the next morning!  I ordered it and it arrived at 6AM - so that was great.  I did not see anything online about this - so thought I would document it.   Otherwise, glad I have this - saved a round trip Uber ride to get a new battery.   I knew it was a weak old battery - so not unexpected. I have use it 3 times on one charge and it jump started my V8 chevy flawlessly.

Very happy with this purchase, I will never use jumper cables again. I have used this Jump Starter a few times and it works great.

Received this last night to jump my motorcycle.  I like everything about it except the plastic around the jumper ends is brittle and broke a piece off on first use.

You never know if you need it or if you can help someone out in need of help.  Works like a charm, have used it about 4 times and each time it starts any dead battery without any hesitation.  I definitely recommend!. This is my second one I have purchased. used this on 6.

In one case this happened and I ended up just jumping it from another car. It is very good quality first delivery.

I had to override the fail safe feature with the  !  button because the battery was completely dead but to my surprise it worked and turned the engine over. A few weeks ago I used this on my dead battery after someone  maybe even me  left the ceiling light on in my car.  The fact that this charges via USB-in is kinda unique among these things and means I can charge this from the cigarette port, an outlet, or even a solar panel in the middle of nowhere. Otherwise, highly recommended.

User friendly design - would be easy to use - I have not used it yet for the simple reason I have no dead batteries around. 0 volt gadget  or cube  charger.   I would strongly suggest you not use a USB computer port for charging this or anything else - unless you put a low value on your computer.   So, only 4 stars right now. One final note:  You literally need a magnifying glass to read the instructions - but they are in good English. - unusual.   You get a USB cable and a cigarette lighter cable adapter  not a charger - you car does that . Works great.

Product does what it is designed to do!.  Ran the motor for 40 minutes and it turned off and on just fine.

Easy to use  and works every time as long as you keep it charged.   The claws do not dig into the metal to make good contact.

Full disclosure. Purchased one of these for my wife's emergency car kit.  the second one for my car came bad- charge should only take 3 hours total, after charging for over 16 hours the unit was still only showing 25%.  Researched and found that folks seem to love the Genius Boost.  Just make sure unit charges correctly.  So, I purchased another for my car kit. Highly would recommend. .  Well, my wife had to use it for the first time the other day and it was simple, easy & worked flawlessly. I drive for a living and helped out a few people who had dead batteries it saved them money from calling a tow truck and I get a thank you .  Previously I used the Schumaker versions which are much bigger and heavier.

I have purchased this replacement in hopes my first one was a fluke. Although this is a very easy to use, handy, and helpful piece of equipment I am slightly disappointed in its lifespan.  I wish the jumper cables were longer, but that is salvageable by keeping spare jumper cables in the car  which I would recommend anyway in case this thing does not work for you  and just clamping those to the short ones that go to this unit.  I kept it plugged into a spare outlet in my vehicle and the battery died  would not operate nor take a charge  after only a couple of years and maybe four uses.

Come in handy when under the hood at  night. Working good and help me many times between charges.

I got mine in a couple days ago and when I went out to my car the battery was dead again so I pulled out the charger, turned off the radio/lights/AC in the car, hooked the charger to the battery terminals and pressed power, jumped in the car and it started right up! No waiting for emergency road side services or trying to find another vehicle or jumper cables to jump the battery off. I learned about this charger a few months ago after the battery on my 2017 Toyota Prius died and a local wrecker company came to jump it.  As someone who travels a lot this is a must have product!.  They showed me what they were using and how easy it was.  Only time it is ever not worked is when I have forgotten to charge it so it really is a worthwhile product.

I have only ordered for about a month and have used it once to jump a battery…charges pretty well. Charged pH and then product died after charging my phone.

I have not needed longer cables yet, but I feel one day I will.  I sometimes find myself hitting the light button instead of the power to the cables button.  Not an issue what so ever, but it is not a “perfect machine” so 4 stars.  If you crank more than 4- V-8 cars a day, get the bigger one. I like the size.   I would have gotten the bigger one if I would have to do it again.  Mainly because I work at a High Performance Salvage yard, and I use it often.  but heres why.

If this unit came with a wall charger It would be five stars. I have used it twice and it works great   if you turn it on and it appears from a few reviews maybe some people fail to do that   The only thing I do not like is that it does not come with a wall charger.  I have other chargers but have to be careful their not they  above 5 amps and 2.  It had dropped down one light from full charge, so I just plugged it into computer and topped the charge off. 1 volts and have the proper polarization.

best thing I bought in a while.   Had to use it a couple weeks ago.   It jump started the car in seconds.   So far, so good.

Only downfalls I can say is it only comes with a bag to store it in, there is no case or something to stop accidentally hitting the power button or damaging it. GB40 came well packaged.  I was a little skeptical to purchase as I have another Chinese jump starter rated to start up to a 5.  Also my cheap Chinese one came with a bunch of other adapters for charging a multitude of different devices, laptops, etc. 0 gas boat, also tried it on my 5. 4L truck just to see, with no luck.  It also dies quickly when attempting to jump a larger engine. , it even has the option to change the output volts, but this does not. But I charged this thing up in a few hours and it looks cosmetically superior.  I unplugged the battery from my 5. 4L F150 and hooked the jumper straight to the cable leads, overrode the unit  since it does not recognize it is hooked up  and it started my truck.  And if you do not have a usb charger, you will need one unless you charge only from car.  So then I tried the same with my 5. 0L boat and it started that up.  I was happy with just this but I must have left something on in my truck because later that evening it was dead.  The cables on this thing are much heavier duty though.  So after 4 over 5. 0L starts I am sold, and the charge was still at 75-100%.  I then used it to recharge my cell.  So far I am happy, as long as it lasts. 0 gas engine and it failed to start my 5.  It did jump a 3L v6 though.  It took the unit 3 or 4 seconds to do it, and it was around 50 degrees F outside, but it started up.  Ran the motor for 40 minutes and it turned off and on just fine.  I used the usb that came with it and another, but seemed a little slow to charge it up, but worked none the less.  I used the gb40 again to jump it, and again 30mins later since the battery must not have recharged in that short drive.

I would have given 5 stars but the springs on the battery clamps are so stiff I could barely get them to open.  It was a work out! One star taken off for that and the unreadable instruction book.  The unit was delivered on time.  It arrived partially charged. I am quite happy with this unit.  It arrived packaged well with a 3/4 inch thick instruction book.  Luckily they have full instructions on their web site.   The size/weight are great.  The unit has a bright emergency flashlight and can charge all my devices.  Since I live in an area prone to tropical storms and an unreliable power grid, this is great to have around.  It is only slightly larger than my hand and not too heavy.  I plugged in to a USB charger at bed time and when I awoke in the morning it was fully charged.  I had a dead battery so after reading the instructions I easily started my car and headed for the garage. You definitely need this in your car! Works perfectly and has great durability. So far this unit is great.

The battery doesnt really last long after using it.  Also sometimes it cant turn over car.  Here, I was torn.

Came 50%charged already took about 2 hrs for it to become fully charged .  The only thing is the 25 jumps on a single charge is not accurate. I got it a couple of days ago and am very pleased.  I did 2 jumps and it took a quarter of the battery life .  But once that magical connection occurs, it works great.

Works like a charm.  Will start most anything.  Works well as a back up while camping or outdooring to keep tablets and cell phones charged too.  Excellent product and well worth the cost.  You will especially love it the first time your battery is dead and it gets you started without lugging around a 40lb jumper pack. Not as powerful as I expected.

I have use this battery jumper several times.  I wish I had a hard case for it.  Not having a hard case, means sometimes things turn on the light and drain the battery before I get to use it.  This is also used to jump a recently dead car, not a completely dead car.  Keep that in mind!.

Well made, works perfectly love it , and now I do not have to jump start other Vehicles with my vehicle. Works great when fully charged.

So I tried this handy Noco jump starter. .  nothing, nada, not even lights on the console.  The Noco was signaling  based on the manual  that the truck's battery was not completely at zero, had a little juice left  white LED was on . 7L V8 engine , so dead that I could not get a light or a chirp out of it.  Then I thought, what makes me believe that LED anyway, I think the battery is completely kaput.  Next step, I used the "manual override" on the Noco to provide full power.  Result: truck responded immediately; all the console lights came on, systems started booting up, and the engine cranked once but did not start, then started easily on the second try. Afterwards, I checked the remaining battery level on the Noco, and was pleased to see that it was barely depleted.   That is reassuring, in case you are on the road and might need to use it multiple times. I had a dead battery in an old Toyota Sequoia  5.    It does come with a car charger, but the charging is quite slow.  Overall verdict: a handy little gizmo to have in the garage, and perhaps on a long road-trip, but do not expect it to be perfect in the information it is giving you.  In case of doubt, try the so-called manual override. .  One star off for being a bit overpriced.

The product arrived 1 day early and in undamaged condition.  The shipper did a very nice job of providing overprotection to the manufacturer's box. Came faster than expected.

Plenty of power to start my dead truck. Nice small size, carries easy and does not take up much storage space.   Easy to use. This thing is expensive, but seems to be very well made.

Was able to jump start a tractor that has not run in years.  I live in MN and the winter days can get very cold.  I rarely drive my car because I am a diabled Vet and use other forms of transportation.  My car sits for weeks on my driveway before I drive it.  The other day there were no clicking sounds when I turned the key.  The jump starter started the car right up.

I do not believe the batteries were completely dead but they sure could not trun over the motor and this did it. Does not last has been my experience with two of them. . Does Not Last even with proper Maint.

This makes jumper cables obsolete! Dealerships use this to jump dead batteries all the time. This would be a solid 5 star if the product came with a wall charger instead of a cigarette lighter charger. The charge from dead to full on a cell phone charger taken 5-6 hours, possibly longer.   The charger  jump started my 2004 Chevy Impala with no issues.  I have no complaints other than the type of charger provided with the item.  Should be a wall charger and not a cigarette lighter, since it is purchased to start a dead car battery.  Cigarette lighters only help when a car can start. However, I have purchased a Noco charger separately, but have not been able to test charging time from dead to full yet since it still has a charge on it from the last use.

At that point, hood light came on and the car cranked like it had a brand new Group 49 battery in it. On my old Porsche 911, had a totally dead battery.   I have an ignition problem, so I really cranked it a lot.  Tried override, but at first nothing, in fact could not get override light to come on holding button down for 3 seconds.   Very surprised such a small unit can put out such high current.   Much better than my old style sealed lead acid jump unit, which is very heavy.   Then attach free clamp to battery.   By the way, I got the too expensive wall charger unit, it works great.   Unlike some reviews that say its 12V output will not fully charge the GB70, it actually outputs 14V and fully charges the unit from one bar to full on green in just over 2 hours.   Disconnect one clamp to battery, turn on GB70, push and hold override button until  override light comes on.  Since just got it, only remaining question is how long unit will hold a good charge without being topped off.  BUT, there is a trick to it.   Will supplement review if I see issues there.   So far, really impressed with the GB70.   Below 2 volts so of course unit did nothing at first.  Do yourself a favor and print your own copy in a favorite language from the online PDF on the manufacturer's website  at 5x to 10x magnification.

The kit is good with exception of no bag was not included in the order as pictured and the sad part is that I have ordered two sets and there was not a bag in either one of them as pictured. It says it will jump your car & it jumps your car!It jumped my Subaru Outback 2. 5l first try after the battery was drained. tThe lights are on the side the cables plug into which is pretty smart, helped me hook them up in the dark.

Opps wrote the review on the wrong item. This booster jumped my diesel truck.  I do not believe the batteries were completely dead but they sure could not trun over the motor and this did it. Little pricey but if it saves you from being stranded it is worth it.

Great product holds a charge well. Not a big fan of micro usb for charging, was really hoping this was usb type c cable for charging the battery charging.  Other then that looks solid and hope to have it when I am need.

Got into a pickle with our Side by Side. My only issue was with with the User Guide as it had a very minute text and I had to use a magnifying glass to retype it in a legible font size then insert my paper into the box for reference.   The user guide is about an inch thick and English is only four pages.

this little box works so well, the people that i have jump started, wants to get one.  it amazes people every time i use it.  The one i bought is 2000 amps.  I would definitely recommend this as it is a really small in size and a must have item for a vehicle owner.

First time I used it was to jumpstart my bulldozer! Just about cranked the starter off.  Tried turning it off and adjusting the clamps a few times and let it sit for a bit.

I do not care about the flashlight or other charging options.   I want this to jump start my 8 cylinder old Ford Explorer without bothering anyone else.   It is weight is like a feather compared to my old one.   It did it in a snap. The only reason I knocked off a star was for the silly short length of the jumper cables.   This?  So light and easy to carry out to my SUV.   Kind of awkward to position for the charge.   I guess my old one's big battery died.   Six more inches would have improved the design. This is the second battery jumper I have owned over the past 7-ish years.   I hope this one holds up with the lithium batteries, as opposed to the old style batteries.   It weighed 20+ lbs.   Have not tried the USB charge function for a phone yet.

Jumped started a boat right after purchase, used the light and phone charger during a power outage. Portability makes this a great product, the additional carrying case purchase is ok and better than the bag.  I pulled it out of the protective pouch and the unit was already on.

This is well constructed.   Durable.   Commercial feel.   I wanted something that gave me the cranking amps to not have to worry about jumping my SUV or any size vehicle.  The built-in light is handy but ultimately I chose this because it had a one dimensional use for it.  I was not looking for something that would blow up the tires.   Nor was I looking for something that acts as a roadside hazard system.  I used it three times in an emergency for myself and others around me so far this winter.  It does well..

great product. best thing I bought in a while. Gives me the impression  that the material  of the terminal conectors os frágil,  because it cracked  after first use.

The case is equally as durable and convenient. Ordered this for elderly parents to lightweight and ease of use and compatibility. I love how powerful, durable and portable it is.

I have this and the gb150 and they are both great. Performs as advertised so far.

Only negative is clamp cables are a bit too short for cars like my Audi S5 which have remote jump connections in engine bay, but battery under trunk. The battery is very compact, which I like, but the case is just OK- it is also sold separately, which I think is a little on the cheeky side.  The overall quality of case construction is good, but the design is a bit lacking.  It has a good spot for the battery, but does not seem to house the cables or other accessories very well.  Not that there is a better choice if you already bought the battery, but look elsewhere if you want a better combined package unless you need something ultra-compact.

I did note that the light was not as bright as I expected. My car battery lasted 6 years with no problem until it did not all of sudden last week.  I know the technology around flashlights is vastly improved these days.  I hope I never have to use and if I do, I pray it does not let me down though these exceptional reviews should prove it should. They could of put more effort into it I am pretty sure the mass production rout they chose should of had less short cuts in it.  The person who helped jump my car had one of these, so I bought it.

I have not had the opportunity to use mine yet but it does give a little piece of mind, especially when my wife is out and about. Really great design.  comes with everything you need to charge up the battery, including a 12V car outlet device with USB port, as well as a USB cord for charging the battery from any other device.  I plugged the battery into my MAC computer using USB cord, and it was charged in under 3 hours.  One improvement would be to provide cables that are just a few inches longer.  A storage box would also be nice; it comes with a soft bag to store all the parts in, but bags do not hold up when you put them in the toolbox.  Easy to register the product on line using serial number etched into plastic case holding the Lithium battery. Update: I pulled mine out of the car storage area and checked the charge level 6 months after I had charged the unit.  It had dropped down one light from full charge, so I just plugged it into computer and topped the charge off.  You might want to make a mental note or calendar event to remind you to check charge level every 4 months or so. Update: I now have one in each of our two vehicles, and one on my BMW motorcycle.  I have started multiple vehicles with these units, they are so handy.  I especially like the power boost feature where the unit provides extra power to an extremely dead battery to get it to come back to life.  It does lose some power over time.  Just bring it in and plug it in for a bit, and you will be back at full charge!.

So far so good.  I recommend the carrying case as well.  It is a lot better with the case. WorKS like a champ.  This is a little pricey however, a most have for emergencies or, if someone else is stranded, you can be a good samaritan without using your own vehicle.

the cable was a foot longer.  Just my thoughts. I bought this after I drained my battery by accident a couple of times and had to recruit another motorist to give me a jump.

used this on 6. 0 engine started it with no problems.  My only advice is to make sure you know that you may be spending extra money on “extra features”, there may be a slightly cheaper option with less features.

Does not start a fully dead car like advertised but still does a good job. Love that is charges fairly quickly and it charge the car in one try and on limited charge.

Where have you been my whole life?  This is one of those tools you should always have handy, its so damn amazing. I mostly use it to charge my projector when I am camping.

All in all a good product.   Apparently it disables some safety features but then will jump very dead batteries.   Our 3. . We have used this a couple of times successfully.  The one i bought is 2000 amps.

The connector idea in concept is great. The audible effects are as I had hoped.   They have male and female slide on connectors that should allow for quick installation inline at the speaker.   Their execution is failed. 5" speakers.   Two of my crimp connectors just fell off, plus two of the female connectors are made for a size much too small than a typical speaker uses.   So I had 4 connectors of 8 to fix or replace.   The lower frequencies are cut off for my 6.   Without this hassle it would be a solid 5 stars.   Great idea failed on execution.   The result is that I can go louder while still having clear vocals, plus should minimize the chances of over powering the 6.  The HD cables work very well, minus being a tad short.

Overall not bad for the price.  Great product.  Fits compactly into a little tie bag with all the accessories.  Downgraded to 4/5 stars because I received a used item that was missing a charging cable with multiple ends. Nice item for the price.

Worked good and will be a great asset. this is my 2nd one lost 1st i would buy again.

We used the booster to jumpstart a Prius that was being stored in our garage.  We liked almost everything about the jump starter.   The only problem we had was the cable connectors were a little too wide for the positive pole on the Prius. Got into a pickle with our Side by Side.

It, jump started a BMW 535i that had been sitting since 2019.   Battery was dead dead. .   I used the override feature and the car cranked over once then again and started right up. Jumper leads are too short.   I debated going with the GB75 because I wanted more amps and more certainty.   I had to stretch them to the max to get them to clamp the positive jumper terminal and the negative post.  Barely reached. Also, one of the video reviews on this product the guy suggested to also purchase the wall plug.   The only way to charge it is a USB connection and it does not come with a wall adapter in the box.   In the end I went with the lower price and crossed my fingers.   I was glad I bought it too. Final note: I immediately wished I had gotten a box with an air compressor. . . So far the GB40 did what it promised to.  oh well, at least the run flats got me to the gas station.   No slight on the GB40, I knew what I was getting. . 2V.

Generator, lawn tractor,. Come in handy when under the hood at  night.  It will however start all the small engine stuff, even my old old garden tractor that takes a car battery. It will not quite jump a car with a dead battery, you might have to let it sit on the battery for a while to let transfer power, but it deff will not right off the bat.

I have read the instructions and they are well thought out and explain every button and action of the jumper packs abilities.   Another great quality is the dust covers over every port.  Both USB in/ out ports have an attached dust cover, and so does the port to plug up the clamps. Upon receiving the package it seemed much heavier than I expected   it is not heave, just did not expect the weight that comes with the quality .  The clamps are joined at one end with a quality cap and dust cover same as on the actual jumper pack.  This will extend the life of the unit as a whole and reduce issues with charging and jumping down the road.   The clamps on this one are all metal frame with a plastic sleeve over them.   I only have 2   needs improvement  thoughts.  This is also why the box was heavier than expected the clamps are all metal and good size, not small at all.  1st, add more USB out ports. .  Many others have plastic pivot points vs the metal ones on these.  as of now only one USB device can be plugged in and charged off the pack.  2nd, a better ability to carry it over the bag it comes in. I bought this jumper pack because of the construction of the clamps and overal quality.  With the power button and all function buttons to be very easily pressed, a bag instead of a solid body case is a possible problem.  Many other product reviews pointed out this plastic pivot point to be a weak spot.  If in the bag, something is set on top of it or bumped it could turn the unit on and it drain out or turn on the flash light and it drain out.  To solve this I purchased a $3 clear plastic tackle box that is just large enough to carry everything that comes with this.  100% opposite of the majority and a big sell point for me. I will update on actual jumping ability with time. .  After looking through many jumper packs, both more expensive and cheaper, I found this one to have great reviews and appeared to have a solid construction. Im glad i bought it.

First, the positive: This unit appears to be built well.  I have managed to get four jump starts out of it before recharging it  I have not tried more  including on my diesel RV.  The leads are heavier than some other I have seen and just long enough to reach both battery terminals  short is good when it comes to resistance . The downside is that the unit comes with a cloth storage bag, which does nothing to prevent the power switch from being accidentally turned on.  If you buy this, I highly recommend getting the optional case for it as well. Overall, it is a good unit and very portable.  I keep it in my truck for any time someone needs a boost.  Definitely worth the purchase.

Unfortunately, my battery was so dead that it did not work.  Then when I called roadside assistance to jump my battery  in my garage , their portable jump starter worked because it had much more power  ended up getting a new battery .  I am still glad to have purchased this one though, because it may come in handy if a light is ever left on in my car and the battery just needs a little boost.  Takes overnight to charge.

Safe and easy to use. Found the car had a bad/almost dead battery.   I wanted something that gave me the cranking amps to not have to worry about jumping my SUV or any size vehicle.  This booster successfully started the car 3 times on the way to the shop.

As long as it continues to work well, I think it will be worth it. This thing is expensive, but seems to be very well made. I grabbed battery pack, hooked it up, and started right up.  I have only used it twice so far, but it worked flawlessly both times.

The product feels very solid and safe.   Battery, although only 2 months old, died due to fog lights being left on. . probably a week or so.   Charged the unit over night and connect in the morning.   Did not start right away but after the 3rd crank, Bessy is up and running again!.

Minor drawback. Perfect for its purpose: jumpstarting the car.  It is small but mighty.  I have an air compressor that runs from the lighter socket, and this thing cannot power it because it has no 12v socket.

2016 Ford Transit 350 . They need to either make longer cable or maybe a 3' extension. The device itself is fine.  I have been stuck twice with newer cars not being able to reach a good ground in trucks with battery not under hood.

fits securely in vehicle and takes-up little room. Respectfully no one I know plans for a dead battery.  The Boost Plus works great but it does not come with a wall charging block.  It comes with a power port adapter for your car.  So unless you drive around with this constantly connected and charging in your car it will most likely be dead and of no use if you are on the road.  That is the only flaw in this product I could find which is why I gave it a four start rating.  The few times I have had to use it fortunately I was at home and could plug it into a wall charger and wait for it to charge..

I had to jumpstart 3 vehicles and this thing did not hesitate. Good little jump pack.  Built in light is handy.

Not sure how come for a product to sell as a complete product- it does not come with a charging cord.  However if I had not had all my stuff with me traveling there was not way for them to plug it in and charge.  Now I have to buy that too!  Some peoples just do not have all those items or understanding of the sellers not including a simple thing to make it a complete product.  My only complaint is the flimsy storage bag, which has absolutely no protection if you store it in your trunk.

It is great to use when you need a quick jump BUT not on a dead battery like that dead nothing works so for a quick jump it will work but for a long change you will need a battery charger NOT A JUMP PACK.  So far so good.

Takes overnight to charge. Easy to use and can indeed jump diesel pickup. AAA told us this one is the best to get if you need a jump start.

Havent tried it on a car yet, but charging your phone ONCE will completely drain it. Very happy with this soon as I attach it to the car battery car jumped worked everytime I needed to use.

The item itself is great but the storage bag that comes with needs work.  Depending how you store it the unit and cables constantly fall out of the bag.  The storage bag is very thin and wimpy.

Good quality jumpstart, easy to use, good battery lasting charge.  This will extend the life of the unit as a whole and reduce issues with charging and jumping down the road.

One year in and all is well.   We tend to charge it with a 3 volt cellphone charger.   It has held up extremely well to the abuse and jumps even on low charge.   You may debate the price vs value. .   We have used this jumper scores of times by now on everything from large trucks to diesel generators. . until the first time you are stuck on a muddy rainforest trail a day's drive from anywhere. . Like everything about but I do miss the air-pump.

Powerful jump starter for a 5. 7 liter V-8 truck engine in summer 80° mild weather.  I have not tried yet in cold weather.  The unit is small and I keep it in it is original box in the truck. My only criticism is the power button sticks out, and is located right in the middle with no thought to protect it from an unintentional power on.  I pulled it out of the protective pouch and the unit was already on.  let say you try jumping ur baterry which is EXTREMELLY EASY to do with this product.

Do not let its size fool you this packs a punch.  Starts your car with ease. This is an amazing product.  Two   up. I learned about this charger a few months ago after the battery on my 2017 Toyota Prius died and a local wrecker company came to jump it.

Overall I am happy with the purchase, and will only use it to charge some units on an emergency situation just to get some extra charge. The main reason is to have this is as a backup to start the vehicle in case i forget to leave something on that will drain the battery, which it did happen once, and it is why i bought this unit, i do not want that to happen to me again in the middle of no-where. So i liked the design.   So yes i do think is a good safety measure to have.   Note that this is not the main 'intended' use of this unit, but i thought it was interesting. Overall i give this 4/5. I have yet to use the 'start up' feature that is meant for, so i just bought this as a precaution, just in case i need to start up my Jeep and im in the mountains or in the middle of no where, i have something that can give a little extra power to start it.   but Design wise 5/5. I used it once to charge my phone,  my phone charged, however it took pretty much all the battery of the unit to fully charge my empty battery phone, i thought it would only use like 1/3 of the unit power, but no it used pretty much all, note my phone has a larger battery than normal, but still i was surprised it took almost all the charge away to fully charge my phone from an empty state.   Happy with the purchase. I liked this unit because of its design, it does not have a separate item that needed to adapt to as compared to other brands.  Unfortunately, I may have to print the instruction manual.   Mostly the use is to keep it for emergency to starting up the vehicle.

All the more reason to add an actual case rather than an eyeglass bag. AAA told us this one is the best to get if you need a jump start.

Charge it up and put it in your vehicle.   Maybe you will need it for your vehicle if the battery goes dead but probably more for helping someone else out.  Every emergency kit in your vehicle should include water, food items, blankets, shovels and a jump starter box.   Just remember to check the charging level periodically.  Maybe if the battery was not that old it would of work.

Neglected it during the Fall and Winter so I decided to check on it and of course the battery was dead, real dead. WE USE IT AROUND THE TRANSMISSION SHOP.

Hope it lasts longer than the traditional portable battery packs. 0 liter V8 and connecting directly to the battery cables. Failures:  below -10 F ambient on mostly discharge battery, this module does not have enough power to start a carSuccesses:  Above 10 F, it seems to work well on small car> have not tried on large vehicle yetSo if you live in cold climate, invest in something with more capacity  more $$$ The operation is simple enough and the unit has the look of high quality. I had both successes and failures on this product.

i know it does not affect the performance of the pack, but it is annoying to have pieces breaking off so easily, especially on first use. i purchased this battery pack a few months ago, but just had the opportunity to use it for the first time today. Suggest that the manufacturer make the external shape of the cable plug that goes into the main unit be designed so it is obvious which way it goes in.  the pack was easy to use and jumped the vehicle immediately.

I have gotten a few co-workers cars going with it and if they are 4 or smaller 6 cylinder engines you can do multiple starts without having to recharge the battery. Started my f150 v8 no problem. Would have given 5 but have not had it long enough to see how long battery lasts.

I just got this thing and so far has jumped my minivan 6 times.  It is really impressive.  Time will tell just how long this thing will last, though I would think you need a new one about every year or two.  I am sure it is a good idea to keep it out of freezing temperature or extreme heat.  Also probably a good idea to use it occasionally to cycle the charge.  I wish the jumper cables were longer, but that is salvageable by keeping spare jumper cables in the car  which I would recommend anyway in case this thing does not work for you  and just clamping those to the short ones that go to this unit. This thing is amazingly compact and so far does the job.  The reason the jumper cables should be longer is that some car batteries like in the 2015 odyssey keep the negative terminal on the battery hidden in a tight spot the jumper cable can not clamp to easily.  The ground is actually on the other side of the engine that you are supposed to jump from.  The only way I can jump properly according to the car owner manual is to use my spare jumper cables as an extension cord, so to speak.  They showed me what they were using and how easy it was.

Used mine 4 times. This is very useful when you are in a no mans place, instead of waiting on someone to give a traditional jump start. Take the clippers and turn on the battery.  Bhoom !!!! Vehicle got life back.

Can jump vehicles that slowly crank but not turn over.  Needs to be left on a dead battery for 30 seconds to start a Dead battery.  Will not start a vehicle with a draw, not strong enough!. 7L diesel engine with no problem and still had over half the battery capacity.

This thing is badass only charged it once still going 5 stars.  Well worth the investment, and you can find one reasonably on.

I dislike that about the item is pull a lot of battery so far. I like about this item is have a lot of safety features and it does it is work. 1 volts and have the proper polarization.

I would not count on too many more.   Anyway, I ordered a replacement for the 4th one and the replacement came.   It took a longggggggg time to reach charge  over-night, whereas as the others were done in 4 hours .   I have started one car already.   I think I will keep all 5.   I had you can expect 4 or 5 cold starts no problem.   They say it comes with 1/2 charge, and 3 out of 4 did, but I am guessing the 4th one did not.  Best buy all year.   Perfect.

Nothing when I turned the key.  Tried the Noco first with the normal procedure and nothing happened.  The first time the car  1999 Lexus RX that is not garaged and that I do not drive very much  would not turn over but the lights flickered.  Then tired the boost feature.  Nothing happened at first.  The second time about a week and a half later, same car, the battery was stone dead.  Tried turning it off and adjusting the clamps a few times and let it sit for a bit.  Was about to give up, tired one more time and then the panel flickered.  Let the car run for half an hour and it was fine.  Ran the motor for 40 minutes and it turned off and on just fine.  I think the trick with this thing is that you have to wait for a bit between tries. I have had this device less than a month and used it twice.  Instructions say not to try more than 5 times in 15 minutes.  We will see what happens next time.  The Noco turned it over on the first try.  Will update as necessary..

Has lots of power and easy to use. Now the design flaws. This is a great Jump Starter Box.  The buttons are too easily pressed. The second one I bought was on a  day and the cases were on sale so purchased two of those to keep it and the buttons safe from being pressed. The light works great but I gave it two stars because of the button. The need to put some raised plastic around them or make them sunken or even require a long press to turn it on.  I am guessing it was bumped on something when I put it in the car which turned the light on. Just be careful when putting it in the car or where ever you store it and check it regularly to make sure it has a good charge. Only 4 stars on safety because of the buttons. The charge from dead to full on a cell phone charger taken 5-6 hours, possibly longer. Do not go anywhere without it, great in the boat and fires up the truck even when the battery is low on it.

The jump pack is $300 and the case is $25. Great product and jump box.  it comes with a very thin bag not suitable for storage.  For that price Noco should include a protective case. 2 liter engine i know from experience another nice feature is that it has a built in battery gauge and reverse polarity protection.  Another nice feature is it has USB output to charge ur phone or ipad anything with USB.  with that being said it should come with a case which i bought after to protect it.  Do I use the cigarette adapter to charge the unit and drain the car battery in the process and then use the jumper to jump start the car???At this price point both a case and wall adapter should have been provided.

Now my battery is replaced and I will probably wont use it for a long time. My car was having a hard time starting and I knew my battery would soon need replacing. I also bought the caseling case for it which is perfect to hold everything including the manual.  Sure enough I had to use it twice to jump my car  v6 3.  I put a reminder on my phone to put this on the charger once a month to keep it topped off.  Surprised this little thing had the power to do it.  Bought this before replacing my battery to see how well it worked. Own this for two years, it is not bad for starting a car that just needs a quick start.  It is small enough to lay inside the engine bay without having to deal with long leads on bigger boxes. I have even used it on compact diesel tractors with no issues. 4 star rating is for battery life, drains pretty quick if something does not start in the first 2 cranks.

This product has heft and the clamps are large. They could of put more effort into it I am pretty sure the mass production rout they chose should of had less short cuts in it.

Easy to use and not heavy. It is ok for like a 4 cylinder car like a honda civic or corolla, but not strong enough for a v6 like camry or accord although I did manage to start my v6 es350 but only after turning on the NoCo and leaving it connected for 5-10 minutes.

If you dont drive it every day the battery tends to die from lack of use. Is just what I needed.  This will start it right up every time.  Works in my pickup truck too.  Especially when dealing with my Hybrid car.  My only issue is the long term durability.

I like the materials. It took a bit to start my atv. Product does what it is designed to do!.  maybe I did not give it a chance to work.

I did however buy a rolling bag so as to but all my car stuff in one bag.  Then I have excess to the entire trunk.  Have charged this devise but have not yet tested on a dead battery.  Thought that was a easy way to keep things easy.  In any event this is very light weight and easy to store in trunk or whatever. . Arrives perfect and functions just fine. .  Nice to have just in case and no longer need big ass cables but, still have those in trunk. 2000 winnie rv.  Come to think of it I do not have one.

Had to find an alternative ground point on my Audi and it still awkwardly hangs. Good emergency tool.  Came through when was needed.

When the driver showed up in a Prius and did not even pop the hood on his car I thought "What the HE*L"?! I thought he was joking when he walked over with this little unit.   Side note, I had purchased something like this a few years ago & it was useless! Different company, slightly different product, but USELESS!  When the driver hooked it up & told me to start my car  a big V8 , I was shocked that it started without hesitation. I first encountered this united being used when I had to call AAA to jump start my car.  Of course after I saw how this product worked and the rave reviews from the AAA guy, I decided that we needed to find one of these, pronto.  Easy to use, works perfectly, and it is really compact.  My only complaint is the flimsy storage bag, which has absolutely no protection if you store it in your trunk.  For that I would strongly suggest buying the matching storage case.  Well worth the investment, and you can find one reasonably on .  Love this little unit for anyone else who drives a V8.   Works great on my BMW X5 50i.

This is a little pricey however, a most have for emergencies or, if someone else is stranded, you can be a good samaritan without using your own vehicle.  I also bought the case and wall adapter to go with this.  I have used this to jump a 6. 7L diesel engine with no problem and still had over half the battery capacity. Does not start a fully dead car like advertised but still does a good job. Very well built piece if equipment! Easy to use, has reverse polarity safety feature, built in BRIGHT led light.

I moved from Sunny California   I finally got to use it today after the temperatures got to single digits overnight and my poor car would not start.  It took a few tries, but it did eventually work. I bought this because I kept having to get my car battery jumped because of the cold temperatures here in the Midwest.   It has been sitting fully charged in my car for almost 2 months.   I was surprised when it did say it was at full charge.  I bought it on sale, so I would say worth it.  Came 50%charged already took about 2 hrs for it to become fully charged.

Already aaved my butt 2 times. The light was great! I was trying to help a neighbor with his car.  Very light weight making for great portability.  However it did not say you have to charge it prior to ever using.  There was a small original charge, but you must charge it before ever needing to use the product.  Boy was I glad my daughter was not the one broke down & needing this first! But overall this is a great product for now.  If this changes I will come back to edit my review.

Well made, works perfectly love it , and now I do not have to jump start other Vehicles with my vehicle. This was a decent enough product in a pinch, but it made me wish it did more.

I work as a auto tech and need to jump start a lot of cars for dead battery's.  We get cars in with totally dead battery's and some of then are in the trunk with no jumper points under the hood.  So its a long way to the starter.  In the past efforts had to use 2 and some time 3 jumpers to get the cars started.  Not with this one.  Has worked every time.  Have only done around 10 to 12 cars so far but no issues to report.  The best thing is not having to lug around such a heavy jumper all over the parking lot to find the car your working on, So So So glad i got this jumper. 00 I expected the unit to come with a charger, which it did not.

There apparently was not enough power to turn off accessory mode with the push button start, so the car just sat there for an hour plus slowly making dying noises. I say get the bigger model because fully charged this one could barely start my vehicle.  This should have worked fine, but with all the weird electronics in newer vehicles, engine size alone is not a good indicator of the voltage necessary to boost an engine. I got this after my battery died BADLY in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler.  I had literally drain the charger on one try. The device itself is fine.  But your car may *look* like it will get 10 boosts off this and instead get barely one.  And by bad I mean it would not start but it also would not turn off.  Get the next model up to be sure.  Perhaps it is temperature impacted the charge it could provide.

But as far as its functionality, it works. My Chevy Silverado 1500 truck was not used for 4 Month due to Cov-19 storage.  but it did not start up my truck and the issue was that the battery was 6 years and it totally die.  But now I use it for winter and road help.

With the case, it is a little large so FYI it can make it difficult to conceal which is attractive for thieves. I like the fact that this device has enough power to jumpstart a car or truck.  I wish I did t have to purchase the carry case separate.  Sam's club has the same device with the case included.

The battery needs a little charge in addition to using this, like when you turn the key and hear clicks. Will not work if the battery is completely dead.  I had to jumpstart 3 vehicles and this thing did not hesitate.

My husband loves this charger.  It is very handy, quick and durable!. Working good and help me many times between charges.

The clamps are amazingly well made.   It is easy to use and performs well. It did, however, die on me, I used it hard one evening  I am a service tech  and when I went to use it again a few weeks later it was DOA.   I contacted tech support and they took it back and sent out a new one. Amazing little thing.   I suspect for normal use and if you are not repeatedly cranking stuff with it it will work well.   Had to use it a couple weeks ago.

I disassembled a GB40 and looked at the battery label  see attached picture  "NEB11V120C2150MAH  24Wh ""11. 1v @ 2150maH Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery"Then I did some basic calculations to see what the REAL spec were :2150maH = 2. 15 Ah2. 15Ah x 120  120C on the lable  = 258A  max current 2. 15A / 258A = .  The only thing battery life needs improvement.

0L V8 engine which is at the very top of this device's rating, and I used the manual override, and it started right up.   Heard the relays in the jump start unit clicking on and off but could not actually get a charge into the battery.   So, it seems like using the manual override is a must, but if you are not careful it can be confusing and even dangerous. Build quality seems to be good, but I wish it came with some kind of case.   This was before I knew about the manual override button.   It comes with a bag that is too small to fit the unit AND the cables together.   Knocking off a star for this, and having to use manual override both times so far. Second time I used it I jumped a 6.  they even take pis of it so they remember the name.

It is great to use when you need a quick jump BUT not on a dead battery like that dead nothing works so for a quick jump it will work but for a long change you will need a battery charger NOT A JUMP PACK. Good product, keep up the good work.

Overall a good item. Works great.  But as any battery powered device, it has cold freeze issues if you leave it in the car in freezing temperatures.

With adapters it has prob could use it for temp power camping for stuff like phones or the light etc. Very easy to use and plenty power.  I havent tried on bigger engines yet but for a car it fired up instantly.  But I got a functioning device and my car battery was pretty dead, I hooked this up and my car started without problems.  Size is good and compact.  Car battery was pretty dead as well lights were left on all day.

It was so bloody cold and the battery was dead.   I had to call my wife to drive out to where I was since there was no one around.   Last winter I had to use it 4 times and this winter twice already.   After getting this jump starter it really is a cinch to get the car running again.   Once winter is done and over and the weather starts getting warmer, I have not needed it no matter how long the car sits between uses.   It is a 3~4 minute inconvenience.   Bought this jump starter and it has worked every time, starts her up after 3~4 seconds.  Highly recommend having one in the car.   The first time I was caught with a dead battery was the beginning of last winter at 10pm in a very cold dark parking lot with few cars around.   Just make sure you keep it charged up.   Works like a champ.  the cable was a foot longer.

On my Mercedes ML 350,  the clamps are too large to fit in the available gap to make solid contact with the battery remote terminal.  Mercedes utilizes a remote terminal since the battery is located under the passenger seat.   The Norco feels like a quality product in hand.   Had to break-out a DB booster which has more compact  clamps.   I have successfully done a low voltage start on a completely drained battery of a stranded Mazda 5. If you are cross shopping,  the DB is a great product as well,  although it does not have the quality feel of the Norco and does not look as cool. This product has heft and the clamps are large.   But, the digital readout, though small, provides more useful information and as noted the clamps will fit in tighter spots. However,  I discovered a limitation.   Initially the unit must be charged for approximately 5 hours.  The digital interface is not the most intuitive and it puts on a light show when you connect it to the terminal, but the product works well overall.

Since I drive an electric vehicle, I do not have the ability to give others a jump, so I purchased this product with that in mind  I purchased the 1000A version , and maybe to power my dash cams when parked in a bad area. I actually ended up using it on my 2nd ICE vehicle  big V6 , and was able to jump the vehicle multiple times, without having to recharge.   This is so easy to use, my SO was comfortable using this. In case anyone is wondering, this product also works great with the QuickJack car lift system. There really is not much to complain about, but I do wish it had a switch allowing the user to charge to 80%, since many users will keep this in the vehicle for months.  I would definitely recommend this as it is a really small in size and a must have item for a vehicle owner.

Works well, like the safety functions.  Should have come with case and AC adapter even with price increase.  Like flashlight options. I mostly use it to charge my projector when I am camping.

My only gripe is I wish the cables  were at least a foot longer.  This thing is a life saver though and worth every penny. During a winter snow storm I was able to start up my wife's car that had a drained battery and used the boost function to resurrect a dead van.  The manufacturer solved the problem for me.

Great product. Other than the needlessly overengineered flashlight  seven modes!  this is a solid easy to operate unit. The reason it did not rate five stars is the owners manual. pdf version is available on line from a third party vendor.

It is like insurance… we pay for it and pray we never need it. I will keep this around for emergency purposes and hope that the next battery is only drained slightly.  I got this for $70 bux here and that was my top dollar for this noco insurance policy.

use this all the time on truck, lawn mower, atv, and on boat.  easy to carry and works wonderful.  Hopefully this brand offers those options too.

Lightweight easier to use the cables are a little short but did a great job I use it to jump off my boat and got me up and running thanks.  It even jumped a 6 cylinder diesel in 0 degree weather.

1 week after purchase, sitting in car on a Sunday morning listening to sermon at church and my battery went dead, got the boost out and was going again in matter of minutes , love it.  A must have for every vehicle you own.

I really liked the safety feature where the light comes on if it is ready and hooked up correctly.  I was able to start 2 cars by myself and it still has a charge.  My only issue is the long term durability. Very simple to use and is so much better than trying to use jumper cables.  The plastic on the terminal connections broke off the first time I put them on a battery. I have had this device less than a month and used it twice.

Bought this for my son, he uses it for work  road assistance  he loves it, size and easy to use. Small but full of accessories.

Not even dome light. I bought this back in January 2020, and charged it up, and put it into my car, looking for someone to test it. I grabbed battery pack, hooked it up, and started right up.   I kept meaning t check the charge, but it off, the instructions said it keep the charge for year, I can say yes.   I did not know it would be today 08/19/2020. I would recommend it, I bought the 2000A. It seems I open my hatch electrically using my remote, and got in the car and hit the start buttons, and the car went dead. Lightweight easier to use the cables are a little short but did a great job I use it to jump off my boat and got me up and running thanks.

Only wish it came with its own adapter.  However it appears to be user-friendly and able to do the job quickly.   Also the instruction were very fine print and a strain to read.   As with everything it is best to be familiar with instructors prior to having need for it. .   Not as many safety features as other chargers but seems adequate.

It is powerful and very easy to use.  Can use various block cell phone chargers.  Can be charged off of any USB port.  I strongly recommend,  for shorter charging time, use a higher output unit like a laptop charger.   This Jump starter has a great LED lamp. I have sold and used this Noco Battery Jump Starter.  Easy battery terminal clamps.  Follow instructions for proper connections to your battery.  I definitely recommend this product!..

good luck using it as 'refresher' when your battery is dead in the dark and in inclement weather.   I would think that with the workforce available where it was produced,  manufacturer could find someone to make a brief lamented basic 'checklist' with larger print to use during setup, especially under adverse conditions.   Worked great.   Could be printed or affixed to the unit or of a size that would fit in  their case, also. .   The print is extremely small. . Sturdy unit, which I have only used once. which is another story, but without a happy ending.   Even a reference to a website for printout might help. .   I hunted and found same online, but the effort to print and size it only good for retired folks with lots of time on their hands, I guess? Bottom line:  Seems to be a good product that could be perfect  i. My only substantial disappointment is with the User's Manual. e. .   I would like a red emergency light option, but the white lights seem very bright and have various flashing options. It was great gift for my husband.

Will be ordering 2 more for my other big trucks. Perfect for my 18 wheeler.  50% battery left.

I wish I had gotten the more powerful one that aaa uses because it works better than this one.  this will not work on a really dead battery because it just does not have enough amps. This is a good charger but it will not work on a really dead battery. I like that this item is very useful for my home.

Also it is a pain to be asking. This thing will start about any pick up truck out there love it and use it every day in a shop.

Though it should not be a safety concern it will drain the battery. Even at its lowest price, it should come with a hard case.  Have not needed it for V8.  It is too easy for the button to be pressed. Great knowing you have a backup.  It has turned on several times in the included bag.

I have two much cheaper ones that have cases that look like a Gideon's Bible and work great.   This has real clamps that are meant for real batteries.   All the more reason to add an actual case rather than an eyeglass bag.   The reason for one star down is that it has a lame little thin cloth bog to store it in.  Nice thing is that this bag as wheels so I can pull from trunk and roll to another location.

Unfortunately,  after a couple of years, the LiPo batteries start to fail and do not retain a charge for long term. I have had a couple of different brands of chargers in over the last 10 years, and I have been satisfied with those particular brands.  I was hoping that this item would be an improvement.  I have found that idiot lights are not accurate and reliable. 60 vdc, vice ~12. 65 vdc.  I want to know what the charge is, before I need to use it! The hit; it is okay, but nothing that bright really.  I Would not buy another of this brand in the future!.  I wish the jumper cables were longer, but that is salvageable by keeping spare jumper cables in the car  which I would recommend anyway in case this thing does not work for you  and just clamping those to the short ones that go to this unit.

Was able to jump start a tractor that has not run in years. Works so well.  Small and very portable but packs quite a punch. During a winter snow storm I was able to start up my wife's car that had a drained battery and used the boost function to resurrect a dead van.

Unfortunately, I may have to print the instruction manual. I will ask the manufacturer if they can supply one. I did not find directions in the package.  I wish I had gotten the more powerful one that aaa uses because it works better than this one.

This thing is expensive, but seems to be very well made. I had no complaints until after two years it stops recharging.  Beyond that it is reliable had no problems.

For $100. 00 I expected the unit to come with a charger, which it did not.  This is not a good way to cheap out for such an otherwise nice piece of equipment, otherwise 5 stars!!!. Failures:  below -10 F ambient on mostly discharge battery, this module does not have enough power to start a carSuccesses:  Above 10 F, it seems to work well on small car> have not tried on large vehicle yetSo if you live in cold climate, invest in something with more capacity  more $$$ The operation is simple enough and the unit has the look of high quality.

It jumped my boat battery and another boat in a day.   The one thing I do not like is that you have 2 good jumps for a boat or 1 good jump for a vehicle.   Also this unit should come with a case vice buying on separate. great for jumping cars with low battery, but be warned its not strong enough to jump a car with a COMPLETELY dead battery.

You have to hunt for some suitable bare metal which can be hard to find in some newer cars where the engine compartment is all covered. Had to use it, and it worked as designed.   As far as I am concerned it paid for itself when it worked the one time I have had to use it.  Started my 8cyl F150 on the first turn of the ignition key.

Otherwise, highly recommended. All the good comments are spot on, no need to repeat everything.  I wish I had a hard case for it.  The absolutely needs to be revised to a long 3 second press to stop this, it is really annoying as designed.  Every time I try to handle it I inadvertently turn on the light.

I loved it. This product can be turned on accidentally, the battery will lose power because of this bad design.

I have not used it yet, but it looks well built.  I took a star away though because the paper manual is unreadable without an electron microscope in any of the 45 languages printed in the included booklet.  Do yourself a favor and print your own copy in a favorite language from the online PDF on the manufacturer's website  at 5x to 10x magnification . This jumper is amazing.

Unfortunately, I may have to print the instruction manual. Jumper cables are . a "last resort" when trying to jump start todays cars/pickups.   This item will keep you from causing damage. I would not use anything else in my business.

I bought this to start my motorcycle which it did more than once, to my surprise it started my ProMaster van as well. Wow! This thing works great! Lots of power.

I am deducting 1 star for the fact that it is not charged by USB-C. I have not had to use this product yet but its charged and ready to go.  Unfortunately, this item still uses a micro USB which is inferior for a product with this level of technology.   The springs on the cable clamps are a little difficult for someone with little hand strength, but once they are loosened up it becomes easy.

The shipper did a very nice job of providing overprotection to the manufacturer's box. Shipping was very quick.  Came sooner than expected.

Could this little two pound box do what a 75+ pound car battery could?  Car batteries these days seem to just go without warning, it is happened to me more than once recently.   I figured my luck with it only dying in driveways would run out sooner or later, so I picked this up. I was skeptical about these little jumper packs, I know lithium ion energy density and all, but still.   I have not had a chance to see if it will jump my Hemi V8 yet, but I can say that it will start smaller cars without breaking a sweat.   I have gotten a few co-workers cars going with it and if they are 4 or smaller 6 cylinder engines you can do multiple starts without having to recharge the battery.   Beats sitting there twiddling your thumbs waiting to get a jump to get your car started.  I would have preferred a hard shell case over the bag, but hey, that could be purchased.

I had to jumpstart 3 vehicles and this thing did not hesitate.  I am really glad I got this. Wow! This thing works great! Lots of power.   Mine has two red lights and will not take a charge.

Price seems high for such a simple product. We went from a two car family to a one car home.  Thus my jumper cables may not be as useful as before.  If cables were longer and price 10-20$ less then this would be a sure fire 5 star product.  This product gave enough electrons to start immediately.  The length of the cables is *barely* enough to reach the + and - terminals of my existing vehicle which has battery in trunk but jump start connections under the hood.  About four more inches would be just right. I love how powerful, durable and portable it is.  I could use the battery in my remaining car for jump start but requires removing trunk carpet and covers and assorted goods and other inconvenience.  Just before selling the other vehicle its battery was too low to start the engine.  Others warned of this in their reviews.

Can not go wrong with this. Its very convenience, but it keeps losing power even though i do not use it.  Could not do 4. 5 stars so did four. Worked great on a Nissan Rogue's battery that was completely dead.

Used on an 15t industrial forklift when it is battery was completely dead.  The first ignition start failed, but the second one right after that worked! Unit is portable and great! I was also able to recharge my iPhone with an usb cable. Recommend! Easy to use, easy to charge.

it came with a measly bag. Pretty upset that this model did not come with a nice carrying case like my GB 50. Does not start a fully dead car like advertised but still does a good job.

The item itself is great but the storage bag that comes with needs work. I have the 1000 amp, but it would not jump my 5. 3 engine.  I have these 2000 amp and less worry.

The box it came in was decent enough. Although the battery indicated was green after a few hours on a charge, there was not enough to start a totally dead battery.   After allowing it to charge for 24 hours as the instructions indicated, it worked like a charm!Very happy with this purchase!.

But I also travel a lot through low-populated areas.  Jumper cables lose effectiveness for example in the middle of nowhere. This product literally saved my car when I did get stuck with a dead battery.  Not only was it a signal to get a new one, but it gave me a nice charge that helped me make it home.  So I am very grateful for this.   Do not want to ruin my vehicles battery or charging system using regular jumper cables plus having a back up power source for a cell phone is appealing.

It comes with a flimsy clothe bag which is why I did not give it five stars. This is very nice and easy to use.   This was before I knew about the manual override button.   It comes with everything that is needed to use except a good carrying case.

I drive a 2018 Honda Accord 2. 0 Turbo, and its battery has completely ran out after months of unusing. I chose this product over the competitors mainly because of its nice branding and  subjectively  good design, which it actually delivers.  The product feels very solid and safe. When trying to jump start my car, it will not detect the battery initially, since the car battery had totally run out, but with manual override enabled, it worked flawlessly!The carrying bag came with the package was a joke to me.  It is thin and soft, and provides absolutely no protection to the jump starter.  There is the branded EVA protection case sold separately, which would be great if included. Overall, it is a very well built product from a trust-worthy company, but it is slightly expensive.  I recommend getting it when it is on sale  unless you need it right away like me.

C'mon, it is 2023 everything should be using USB-C now.  I hate micro usb.  First impression, very affordable, love the lighting features.   Will supplement review if I see issues there. I just got it.
